I have had the old TWC modem for well over 8 years. The first three years I didn't get charged for it. Then they started charging $5/month- that's when I dumped Cable, 3 Boxes, phone service. Went to HD over the air and TWC internet only. Now $8/month- its not a NEW modem or FASTER service. Just charging me more. I'm turning the TWC modem in. Next step "Ditch" TWC- somehow.
