Reassembly is a game that has slowly crept into the top percentage of my Steam library. The laid back nature and gorgeous graphics seem to be about the right speed for my channel, so I figured it wouldn't hurt to give my own rendition of a personal favorite.
Reassembly is a brutal masterpiece. Build your ship, spawn a fleet, dominate the galaxy with enemies that get insanely devastating. Reassembly is the version of Fishy in space that nobody knew they wanted. Now that I've had it, I can't go without. Reassembly, you are in my heart.
While the $15 price tag might seem hefty for a 2D indie game, it is certainly warranted here. You will spend many hours collecting resources and upgrading your ship. Just when you think you're done, discover even more races and unlockable. Reassembly... Wow.

And through the Kickstarter gauntlet we have arrived. Yes, we have a procedurally-generated universe to explore. Yes, we have eye-gogglingly gorgeous vector-based gameplay coupled with particle effects so effortlessly effervescent that you won't have time to wonder if "effortlessly effervescent" means anything coherent. And yes, we have noises and musical moods that take a warm soapy sponge to your brain and massage it into cerebral splendor.
BUT YOU DON'T HAVE TIME FOR THAT!!!
You're too busy crafting the perfect vessel, a spaceship pristine and precise and, perhaps, powerful, agile, and envy-inducing. Your shapes and colors will induce both fear and wonder into the electronic hearts of whatever insectoid, angley, squarish, plantlike race of alien ships that you come across in your digital safari.
And then you grow. And it changes everything. Now your left wing must become your right wing in a lopsided arrangement of fancy new weaponry and mega-buffed shields. You recall thinking when you last were destroyed (and you will be destroyed), that you really needed to buff up that armor. Right? Definitely.
And then you grow again. And again. And now you're a battleship capable of producing your own fleet, and each member of your fleet can spawn it's own fleet, and you need it. Your enemies are constantly changing shapes, sizes, and intensities as ships created and honed through the experience of a thousand battles find their way from their creator's computer to yours, leaping into your universe with all the mercy in the world of NONE AT ALL.
It's time to visit the electronic tide pool.
Summary: Very fun game where you can let your creativity run free for hours at a time or in short bursts in breaks. Excellent modding capabilities.
Just because Reassembly lacks a third dimension, it doesn't skimp on content. Design your own ships to wage war on the rest of a barren voidspace filled with factions wanting to ruin your day.
Vast variety of gameplay styles, from the passive Farmers to the rush-them-first-and-ask-later Bees.
You can also pit your creations against others, or even your Steam friends', using tournament mode.
'Agent' fleets you fight are actually from other players after uploading them through wormholes.
Massive modding options from a good community. Choices range from hardcore mode factions to easy overpowered ones. Various quality of life mods too.
Would recommend to anyone who enjoys: Space Engineers, From the Depths, Kerbal Space Program. -Captain_Klutz
Yeah, it's pretty good.
The game itself is fun but unfortunately it's kinda hard to get in to.
Graphically Reassembly is very stunning and has a good style, which it sticks to throughout.
The building editor is nice but sometimes can be frustrating when thing's dont snap properly
Could do with symmetry option for building. -Vex

The British set up a blockade outside Canton, but one of their own private merchant ships tried to run through it. When the Chinese came to its defense, war began in earnest. Since the British had far superior firepower, they easily conquered Chuenpee and Chusan. Elliot and the Emperor's new envoy, Qishan, soon sought a treaty and agreed on generous terms... which their overseers harshly rejected.

The British responded to the Chinese halting their ships by erecting a blockade outside Canton. They fired a warning shot to turn back a private British merchant ship, the Royal Saxon, which attempted a blockade run, and the Chinese sent out their own navy to defend the runner. They were demolished. The British had better ships and better firepower. They made to discuss a treaty, but the Chinese refused to give in to the British demands regarding ownership of Hong Kong. The British moved on to capture Chusan, an island near Shanghai. Then a rumor prompted them to believe that China planned to strike against them, so they acted pre-emptively and kicked off the Battle of Chuenpee. Again they won, but the slaughter was so horrifying that Superintendent Elliot was glad to seek a peace treaty with the emperor's envoy, Qishan. Finally Qishan agreed to give up Hong Kong, to give the British better trade status, in exchange for which Britain returned the land they'd taken. But Elliot's supervisor back in London, Lord Palmerston, felt the treaty didn't go far enough, especially since it didn't re-establsih opium trading rights. And the Emperor found Qishan's capitulation disgraceful, even threatened to have him hanged for it. What had looked like moderate wins for both sides suddenly threatened to fall apart.

An ironclad was a steam-propelled warship in the early part of the second half of the 19th century, protected by iron or steel armor plates.[1] The ironclad was developed as a result of the vulnerability of wooden warships to explosive or incendiary shells. Steam Gun Boat
Steam gun boat (SGB) was a Royal Navy term for a class of small naval vessels used during the Second World War. The class consisted of nine gun boats, powered by steam, and built from 1940 to 1942 for the Coastal Forces of the Royal Navy.
They were developed in parallel with the Fairmile D motor torpedo boats ("dog boats"), specifically as a response to the need to hunt down German E-boats and also as a response to the scarcity of suitable diesel engines. While sixty were planned only an initial batch of nine were ordered on 8 November 1940, of which seven were completed.
Design
The steam gun boats were conceived to answer the seeming need for a craft which was large enough to put to sea in rough weather and which could operate both as a 'super-gunboat' and a torpedo carrier, combining the functions of the Motor Gun Boat (MGB) and Motor Torpedo Boat (MTB) in the same fashion as did the German E-boats. The Admiralty wanted Denny to produce a design that was suitable for pre-fabrication construction to enable large numbers to be built.

The first ironclad battleship, La Gloire, was launched by the French Navy in November 1859.[2] The British Admiralty had been considering armored warships since 1856 and prepared a draft design for an armored corvette in 1857; however, in early 1859 the Royal Navy started building two iron-hulled armored frigates, and by 1861 had made the decision to move to an all-armored battle fleet. After the first clashes of ironclads (both with wooden ships and with one another) took place during the American Civil War, it became clear that the ironclad had replaced the unarmored ship of the line as the most powerful warship afloat. This type of ship would come to be very successful in the American Civil War.[3] Ironclads were designed for several roles, including as high seas battleships, coastal defense ships, and long-range cruisers. The rapid evolution of warship design in the late 19th century transformed the ironclad from a wooden-hulled vessel that carried sails to supplement its steam engines into the steel-built, turreted battleships and cruisers familiar in the 20th century. This change was pushed forward by the development of heavier naval guns (the ironclads of the 1880s carried some of the heaviest guns ever mounted at sea), more sophisticated steam engines, and advances in metallurgy which made steel shipbuilding possible. The rapid pace of change in the ironclad period meant that many ships were obsolete as soon as they were complete, and that naval tactics were in a state of flux. Many ironclads were built to make use of the ram or the torpedo, which a number of naval designers considered the crucial weapons of naval combat. There is no clear end to the ironclad period, but towards the end of the 1890s the term ironclad dropped out of use. And now you're a battleship capable of producing your own fleet, and each member of your fleet can spawn it's own fleet, and you need it. Your enemies are constantly changing shapes, sizes, and intensities as ships created and honed through the experience of a thousand battles find their way from their creator's computer to yours, leaping into your universe with all the mercy in the world of NONE AT ALL. It's time to visit the electronic tide pool. Summary: Very fun game where you can let your creativity run free for hours at a time or in short bursts in breaks. Excellent modding capabilities. Just because Reassembly lacks a third dimension, it doesn't skimp on content. Design your own ships to wage war on the rest of a barren voidspace filled with factions wanting to ruin your day. Vast variety of gameplay styles, from the passive Farmers to the rush-them-first-and-ask-later Bees. You can also pit your creations against others, or even your Steam friends', using tournament mode. 'Agent' fleets you fight are actually from other players after uploading them through wormholes. Massive modding options from a good community. Choices range from hardcore mode factions to easy overpowered ones. Various quality of life mods too. Would recommend to anyone who enjoys: Space Engineers, From the Depths, Kerbal Space Program. -Captain_Klutz Yeah, it's pretty good. The game itself is fun but unfortunately it's kinda hard to get in to. Graphically Reassembly is very stunning and has a good style, which it sticks to throughout. The building editor is nice but sometimes can be frustrating when thing's dont snap properly Could do with symmetry option for building. -Vex -

The British responded to the Chinese halting their ships by erecting a blockade outside Canton. They fired a warning shot to turn back a private British merchant ship, the Royal Saxon, which attempted a blockade run, and the Chinese sent out their own navy to defend the runner. They were demolished. The British had better ships and better firepower. They made to discuss a treaty, but the Chinese refused to give in to the British demands regarding ownership of Hong Kong. The British moved on to capture Chusan, an island near Shanghai. Then a rumor prompted them to believe that China planned to strike against them, so they acted pre-emptively and kicked off the Battle of Chuenpee. Again they won, but the slaughter was so horrifying that Superintendent Elliot was glad to seek a peace treaty with the emperor's envoy, Qishan. Finally Qishan agreed to give up Hong Kong, to give the British better trade status, in exchange for which Britain returned the land they'd taken. But Elliot's supervisor back in London, Lord Palmerston, felt the treaty didn't go far enough, especially since it didn't re-establsih opium trading rights. And the Emperor found Qishan's capitulation disgraceful, even threatened to have him hanged for it. What had looked like moderate wins for both sides suddenly threatened to fall apart.

Reassembly is a game that has slowly crept into the top percentage of my Steam library. The laid back nature and gorgeous graphics seem to be about the right speed for my channel, so I figured it wouldn't hurt to give my own rendition of a personal favorite.
Reassembly is a brutal masterpiece. Build your ship, spawn a fleet, dominate the galaxy with enemies that get insanely devastating. Reassembly is the version of Fishy in space that nobody knew they wanted. Now that I've had it, I can't go without. Reassembly, you are in my heart.
While the $15 price tag might seem hefty for a 2D indie game, it is certainly warranted here. You will spend many hours collecting resources and upgrading your ship. Just when you think you're done, discover even more races and unlockable. Reassembly... Wow.

Yes, we have eye-gogglingly gorgeous vector-based gameplay coupled with particle effects so effortlessly effervescent that you won't have time to wonder if "effortlessly effervescent" means anything coherent. And yes, we have noises and musical moods that take a warm soapy sponge to your brain and massage it into cerebral splendor.
BUT YOU DON'T HAVE TIME FOR THAT!!!
You're too busy crafting the perfect vessel, a spaceship pristine and precise and, perhaps, powerful, agile, and envy-inducing. Your shapes and colors will induce both fear and wonder into the electronic hearts of whatever insectoid, angley, squarish, plantlike race of alien ships that you come across in your digital safari.
And then you grow. And it changes everything. Now your left wing must become your right wing in a lopsided arrangement of fancy new weaponry and mega-buffed shields. You recall thinking when you last were destroyed (and you will be destroyed), that you really needed to buff up that armor. Right? Definitely.
And then you grow again. And again. And now you're a battleship capable of producing your own fleet, and each member of your fleet can spawn it's own fleet, and you need it. Your enemies are constantly changing shapes, sizes, and intensities as ships created and honed through the experience of a thousand battles find their way from their creator's computer to yours, leaping into your universe with all the mercy in the world of NONE AT ALL.
It's time to visit the electronic tide pool.
Summary: Very fun game where you can let your creativity run free for hours at a time or in short bursts in breaks. Excellent modding capabilities.
Just because Reassembly lacks a third dimension, it doesn't skimp on content. Design your own ships to wage war on the rest of a barren voidspace filled with factions wanting to ruin your day.
Vast variety of gameplay styles, from the passive Farmers to the rush-them-first-and-ask-later Bees.
You can also pit your creations against others, or even your Steam friends', using tournament mode.
'Agent' fleets you fight are actually from other players after uploading them through wormholes.
Massive modding options from a good community. Choices range from hardcore mode factions to easy overpowered ones. Various quality of life mods too.
Would recommend to anyone who enjoys: Space Engineers, From the Depths, Kerbal Space Program. -Captain_Klutz
Yeah, it's pretty good.
The game itself is fun but unfortunately it's kinda hard to get in to.
Graphically Reassembly is very stunning and has a good style, which it sticks to throughout.
The building editor is nice but sometimes can be frustrating when thing's dont snap properly
Could do with symmetry option for building. -Vex

Searchers have recovered 25 bodies from a ferry that sank in central Myanmar and expect to find scores more corpses as workers begin raising the boat from the riverbed, officials said today. A total of 154 people have been rescued since the boat sank early on Saturday on the Chindwin River about 72 kilometres (45 miles) north of the city of Monywa ... “The window was open so I had a chance to get out of the boat.”....

Four of the boat’s staff have been arrested and are to face legal action, Sa Willy Frient said....

He estimated the boat was carrying 240-250 people, around 100 more than its capacity, and said rescuers expect to find more bodies as they lift the vessel by crane ... Four of the boat's staff have been arrested and will face legal action, said Sa Willy Frient....

Earlier in 2016 the centre successfully Crowdfunded over £4,000 for a bell-boat....

While his guests hooted and hollered about what they'd just witnessed, Lavigne battled the fish from his perch at the front of the small boat, his pistol-gripped rod bending nearly to the point of breaking ... Lavigne grabbed it at boat side, and hauled it over the low gunwale, while emitting a raspy giggle he just couldn't suppress ... Fishing them, however, isn't as easy as backing a trailer at the local boat ramp ... A small boat....
