↑Eleah Parker, Northside Christian girls: UNC came to scout the 6-foot-4 junior and Parker made 15 of 23 shots, scored 31 points and had 29 rebounds and three assists.
↑Atmosphere at Providence Day: The Hoodies House event moved from Ardrey Kell, where it attracted strong crowds, and brought great games, talent and crowds Monday to Providence Day. The tournament was loud and well attended.
↑Brandon Robinson, Douglas County (Ga.) boys: Long and talented, the UNC recruit showed off deft ball-handling and a smooth shooting stroke against Providence Day. Robinson made 13 of 16 free throws and finished with 30 points and four rebounds in a 73-56 loss.
Monday’s Top Performers
Idris Akinyemi, June Buchanan (Ky.) boys: 11 points, 14 rebounds, five blocks in a 37-33 win over Charlotte Christian.
Zackery Bryant, Providence (Fla.) boys: 6-1 junior point guard caught alley-oops in a 65-42 win over John Carroll (Md.) and ran the team well. He finished with 13 points, seven rebounds, four assists and a steal.
Devon Dotson, Grant Williams, Providence Day boys: Dotson made 15 of 20 free throws and had 27 points, 10 reounds and four assists in a 73-56 win over Douglas County (Ga.). Williams had 18 points, 12 rebounds, four blocks and two assists.
Rayshaun Hammonds, Norcross (Ga.) boys: 6-8 junior forward made 10 of 11 shots in a 64-61 overtime win over Northside Christian. He had 21 points, nine rebounds and three blocks.
Chris Martin, Northside Christian boys: 5-9 junior guard had 23 points, eight rebounds in overtime loss to Norcorss (Ga.).
Jordan Soares, Rocky River girls: 13 points, 13 reounds in 58-40 loss to Bishop McNamara (Md.).
Ahlana Smith, Vance girls: 22 points, seven rebounds, four assists and three steals in an 83-65 loss to Northside Christian.

Northside Christian 83, Vance 65: Northside Christian outscored Vance 42-24 in the second and third quarters to gain control. Vance freshman Dazia Lawrence had 21 points and five steals, but her team was outrebounded 50-16. Northside Christian got 22 points and two steals from Shamani Stafford.
Bishop McNamara (Md.) 58, Rocky River 40: Bishop McNamara outrebounded Rocky River 51-37 on a night when it shot just 31.8 percent. Rocky RIver shot only 30 percent and got 18 points and four rebounds from Ariana Nance. Bishop McNamara got 12 points and five rebounds from Zenzele Apesemaka-Vital, 11 points and six rebounds from Kyara Frames and eight points and 11 rebounds from Shayla Thomas.

Butler 65, SouthLake Christian 49: Butler’s zone limited SouthLake Christian to 37.3 percent shooting and the Bulldogs shot 47.2 percent for the game and 60 percent in the fourth quarter. Orlando Robinson (12 points, four steals) and Jah’lil Carter (10 points, five rebounds) led Butler. SouthLake’s Myles Monroe, the son of coach and former N.C. State star Rodney Monroe, had 13 points and five rebounds.
Norcross (Ga.) 64, Northside Christian 61 (OT): Junior Rayshaun Hammonds hit a 3-pointer with 1.5 seconds left to send the game into overtime and got some key baskets in the extra four-minute session to help his team avoid a big upset. Kyle Sturdivant had 12 points for Norcross. Nate Hinton had 11 points, five rebounds for Nrothside Christian, and Marten Maide had 12 points and two rebounds.
June Buchanan 37, Charlotte Christian 33: Charlotte Christian got 11 points from freshman guard JC Tharrington. The Knights shot 23.6 percent from the field. Prince Anosike had nine points and 13 rebounds for June Buchanan.
Wheeler (Ga.) 47, Long Island Lutheran (N.Y.) 41: Wheeler only shot 38.5 percent but held Long Island to 27.6 percent shooting. Romello White (12 points, six rebounds) and Kenneth Aninye (12 points, two rebounds) led Wheeler. Devonte Green had 13 points and six rebounds for Long Island.
Providence (Fla.) 65, John Carroll (Md.) 42: Providence pulled off a stunning upset of the reigning tournament champion, shooting 67.6 percent compared to just 33 for John Carroll. Jacorie Archie was 6-for-6 from the floor and had 16 points, five rebounds for Providence. Mike Tertsea had 10 points and five rebounds for John Carroll.
