Gràcia (Catalan pronunciation: [ˈɡɾasiə]) is a district of the city of Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain. It comprises the neighborhoods of Vila de Gràcia, Vallcarca i els Penitents, El Coll, La Salut and Camp d'en Grassot i Gràcia Nova. Gràcia is bordered by the districts of Eixample to the south, Sarrià-Sant Gervasi to the west and Horta-Guinardó to the east. A vibrant and diverse enclave of Catalonian life, Gràcia was an independent municipality for centuries before being formally annexed by Barcelona in 1897 as a part of the city's expansion.
Gràcia was established in 1626, by a Novitiate of Carmelites, who established a convent there, called "Nostra Senyora de Gràcia (Our Lady of Grace)". Following the loss of Catalonian independence from Spain in 1714, Gràcia remained an independent municipality in the direction of the Serra de Collserola mountains (north/northwest) from central Barcelona. Passeig de Gràcia, the street which is today home to the most high-end international fashion brands and posh hotels (Barcelona’s version of the Champs-Élysées), was back then a country road linking the town to the larger city, through the plain of Barcelona.
José Ortega may refer to:
José Ortega y Gasset (Spanish pronunciation: [xoˈse orˈteɣa i ɣaˈset]; 9 May 1883 – 18 October 1955) was a Spanish liberal philosopher, and essayist. He worked during the first half of the 20th century, while Spain oscillated between monarchy, republicanism, and dictatorship. His philosophy has been characterized as a "philosophy of life" that "comprised a long-hidden beginning in a pragmatist metaphysics inspired by William James, and with a general method from a realist phenomenology imitating Edmund Husserl, which served both his proto-existentialism (prior to Martin Heidegger's) and his realist historicism, which has been compared to both Wilhelm Dilthey and Benedetto Croce."
José Ortega y Gasset was born 9 May 1883 in Madrid. His father was director of the newspaper El Imparcial, which belonged to the family of his mother, Dolores Gasset. The family was definitively of Spain's end-of-the-century liberal and educated bourgeoisie. The liberal tradition and journalistic engagement of his family had a profound influence in Ortega y Gasset's activism in politics.

Step away from the hustle and bustle of Barcelona’s centre and enter a more tranquil and local neighbourhood. A haven for artists and artisans, Gracia is the trendy hub of modern culture with its galleries, bookshops, bakeries and organic food shops. Explore Gracia in the the shadows of its alleyways or in the open square of Plaza del Sol or the famous Park Guell. The neighbourhood is still a close distance to the city centre and to the beach, but Gracia’s natural charm, abundance of amenities and lack of tourists is often enough to tempt the locals to stay in this wonderful neighbourhood.

Tonight I'm all alone
I need somebody
I need one love
and hide my feelings for myself
Then maybe I will find
someone who feels the way I do
and gives me a reason to live
Oh, tell me why
Tell me how
can I face these things
can you hold me
cause we belong together
Oh, tell me why
You can see
in my heart I got you deep inside
cause we belong together
Da daran da da daran
Da daran da da daran
Da daran da da daran..........
Another day has come
and brings a chance to smile again
so I can change the way I feel
I wish you were with me
I’m sharing these feelings we once had
give me a reason to live
Oh, tell me why
Tell me how
can I face these things
can you hold me
cause we belong together
Oh, tell me why
You can see
in my heart I got you deep inside
cause we belong together
