On August 14th, 2015, there was a major event in Northern California that was organized for the purpose of exposing and halting global climate engineering programs that are decimating our planet and the entire web of life. Numerous experts spoke out at this event including former government scientists, a former defense industry technician, former military personnel, a prominent Northern California Neurologist, and a CEO for one of the largest environmental and engineering consulting firms in the world. Rosalind Peterson was one of the speakers at the Northern California event. She was a former USDA farm service agency agricultural crop loss adjustor and has spoken on the floor of the United Nations about the climate engineering issue. Rosalind's statement of urgency is contained in the video below, she has fought long and hard to expose the the truth about many dire issues. The emcee for this important event was John B. Wells, radio host for the highly acclaimed "Caravan to Midnight" show. John works tirelessly toward exposing the truth for the common good. His participation in the Northern California event was of immense benefit to the cause of exposing geoengineering. My deepest appreciation to John, to all the speakers that participated and shared their knowledge, to each and every activist that contributed countless hours, and of course our gratitude to all those that attended the event. Individuals came from locations as far away as Valdez Alaska and St. Louis Missouri.

Can You Gross Up Tax Exempt Income When Qualifying for a USDA Loan?
Today's video tip will cover a very important topic which can go a long way when determining your loan qualifications, maximum sales price, and what properties you can search for.
Certain types of income are considered tax exempt (or, non-taxable income) and this holds unique qualifying ability with USDA loans.
While standard USDA loan qualifying ratios (otherwise known as debt ratios) assume that income is taxable, USDA guidelines calculate tax exempt income differently.

Jacki Ponti-Lazaruk, Assistant Administrator for Water and Environment Program, USDA Rural Utility Services
Rural America is a great place to live, work, and enjoy America’s natural beauty. Nearly 50 million people live in rural cities, towns and counties, where they produce much of our Nation’s food, energy, goods, and services. Ensuring that local leaders are able to provide sustainable, high quality, and affordable water and waste service is critical to the health and welfare of rural families, businesses, and ultimately the country. Attend this informative session to learn about current and future efforts by USDA to create stronger communities and improve the impact of funding programs.

GAY, Ga. - The US Department of Agriculture rejected a Georgia cattle farmer's application for a special interstate transport license because his address contained "a banned word."
What word could be so offensive? Gene King lives in Gay, Georgia.
"No one's got a problem coming to Gay, Georgia," said King. "I don't have a problem living in Gay, Georgia. But the USDA's got a problem with Gay, Georgia."
Gay, Georgia was founded in 1882, incorporated in 1907 and named after William F. Gay. About 100 people live in the community about an hour south of Atlanta. Twice a year they organize a popular festival once referred to as the Gay Fair. Now it's known as the Cotton Pickin Festival.
King admitted to FOX 5 I-Team reporter Randy Travis the name can be confusing in conversation.
"I have gay friends."
"Here in Gay, Georgia?"
"No, not in Gay, Georgia."
"You have gay friends outside of Gay."
"Outside of Gay, yeah."
But no friends of Gay, Georgia in the US Department of Agriculture. Earlier this month, Gene applied for a special ID through the USDA called a Premises Number. That allows him to buy and sell cattle across state lines. He completed the form and called to check on his status.
"She said it's kicking it out saying that's an offensive word and won't accept your application," King said.
What could be so offensive? The holdup, according to a government email about Gene's application: "city contains a banned word."
The USDA emailed back with a work-around. Change Gene's hometown on the application from Gay… to Bay.
"And I said no, I don't want to submit it as Bay, Georgia," King said he told the government worker over the phone. "I want to submit it as Gay, Georgia because that's where I live. And she said do you want a number or not?"
He got his number, and then the USDA manually changed his city back to Gay.
"I said ma'am. This is ridiculous."
In a statement, the USDA said they created a database of words with "bad connotations" because they worried people would try to sabotage an earlier animal ID registration system. That was in 2004. They promise a future upgrade will ensure that "this will no longer be an issue."
The USDA would not provide us with a complete list of those so-called bad words or who decided the word "gay" belonged on that list.
But the tale of this Gay cattle rancher has a happy ending. Gene got his Premises Number and his out-of-state cows. And no matter what the federal government said, they never took his pride.
"My name is Gene King. I live here in Gay, Ga. That's G-A-Y, not B-A-Y."
THE COMPLETE USDA STATEMENT:
The premises identification allocator was originally developed in the early 2000s for the National Animal Identification System, using the technology available at the time. The program was very contentious and IT developers were concerned about the possibility of people attempting to create “bad” premises IDs to prove there was a problem with the program or its IT systems. They created a database of words with bad connotations that would not be allowed in the system.
Since that time, the NAIS program has ended and been replaced by animal disease traceability regulations. The IT architecture was repurposed to meet the new regulations, until the time it could be redesigned to take advantage of newer technology available to validate addresses. After a delay due to intensive efforts to combat highly pathogenic avian influenza this spring, the agency is working to upgrade the technology so this will no longer be an issue.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Park_ranger
A park warden, park ranger or forest ranger is a person entrusted with protecting and preserving parklands – national, state, provincial, or local parks. "Parks" may be broadly defined by some systems in this context, and include protected culturally or historically important built environments, and is not limited to the natural environment. Different countries use different names for the position. Warden is the favored term in Canada, Ireland, and the United Kingdom. Within the United States, the National Park Service refers to the position as a park ranger. The U.S. Forest Service refers to the position as a forest ranger. Other countries use the term park warden or game warden to describe this occupation. The profession includes a number of disciplines and specializations, and park rangers are often required to be proficient in more than one...
History
Rangers were officials employed to "range" through the countryside providing law and order (often against poaching). Their duties were originally confined to seeing that the Forest Law was enforced in the outlands, or purlieus, of the royal forests. Their duties corresponded in some respects with that of a mounted Forester...
The earliest letter patent found mentioning the term refer to a commission of a ranger in 1341. Documents from 1455 state that England had “all manner and singular Offices of Foresters and Rangers of our said Forests”...
Rangers in North America, 1600s-1800s
In North America rangers served in the 17th and 18th-century wars between colonists and Native American Indian tribes. Rangers were full-time soldiers employed by colonial governments to patrol between fixed frontier fortifications in reconnaissance providing early warning of raids. In offensive operations, they were scouts and guides, locating villages and other targets for task forces drawn from the militia or other colonial troops. During the Revolutionary War, General George Washington ordered Lieutenant Colonel Thomas Knowlton to select an elite group of men for reconnaissance missions. This unit was known as Knowlton's Rangers, and was the first official Ranger unit for the United States, and are considered the historical parent of the modern day Army Rangers.
Early Conservation and Park Rangers in the United States, 1866-1916
The word was resurrected by Americans in the nineteenth and twentieth centuries from the old British use for the Wardens - royally appointed - who patrolled the deer parks and hunting forests in England.
There is much debate among scholars about which area was the world’s first national park (Yosemite or Yellowstone), so not surprisingly there is little agreement about who was the first national park ranger. Some argue that Galen Clark was first when, on May 21, 1866, he became the first person formally appointed and paid to protect and administer Yosemite, thus become California’s and the nation’s first park ranger. Clark served as the Guardian of Yosemite for 24 years. Others point to Harry Yount who worked as a gamekeeper in Yellowstone National Park in 1880-1881. Prophetically, Yount recommended “the appointment of a small, active, reliable police force…[to] assist the superintendent of the park in enforcing laws, rules, and regulations.” The first permanent appointment of rangers in a national park occurred on September 23, 1898, when Charles A. Leidig and Archie O. Leonard became forest rangers at Yosemite National Park.
One of the earliest uses of the term ranger was on badges with the title "Forest Reserve Ranger" which were used from 1898 to 1906 by the U.S. Department of the Interior. These badges were probably issued to the rangers working in the national parks as well as those in the national forests, since both were known as Forest Rangers at that time.
The term ranger was also applied to a reorganization of the Fire Warden force in the Adirondack Park after 1899 when fires burned 80,000 acres (320 km2) in the park.[citation needed] The name was taken from Rogers' Rangers, a small force famous for their woodcraft that fought in the area during the French and Indian War in 1755...

The New York Times, January 18, 1891, p. 10:
IN PORTO RICO'S CAPITAL
HOT SAN JUAN AND ITS FORMIDABLE CASTLE.
THE NEATEST CITY IN SPANISH-AMERICA--
THE CAPE AND THE CONSUL--
A NIGHT AT THE OPERA--THE HOTTEST CITY IN THE WEST INDIES.
...As seen from the sea, San Juan consists almost entirely of a series of massive fortifications, that collectively form the castle, as the Spaniards call all their big forts, although this has little of the appearance that is commonly supposed to belong to a castle. It is a town--a city--of forts and batteries, all built of stone, rising one above another, crowding and jostling each other...
The buidings are in such excellent repair that they seem almost out of place in a Spanish colony. There is none of the picturesque ruin that adds to the beauty of the reknowned Morro at Havana or the other Morro at the entrance to Santiago.
Near one of the forts stands a low stone building, the size of a small cottage, with an immense stone chimney rising from it.
"Is that a smokehouse?" I ask, "that small building with the great chimney?"
"No," I am told, "that is the powder magazine."
"And why a chimney for a powder magazine?"
"That is not a chimney," is the reply; "it is a stone column to support the lightning rod."
A rich port indeed (for that is the English for the name of Porto Rico) this must be where they can afford to build a stone column fifty feet high to support a lightning rod.
But there are no signs yet of any town save a few buildings on the hilltop. The pilot has come on board and taken command of the bridge... As we creep further and further in, sweeping around to the eastward, the city of San Juan, the capital of Porto Rico, lies before us. Now we see the lay of the land, and the mystery of the hidden city is explained.
The town lies on a rocky peninsula, shaped like the narrow end of a long, curved squash. This peninsula is an island, in fact, being separated from the mainland by an insignificant inlet a few miles down the coast. In front of the peninsula is the sea, behind it the harbor. The land rises somewhat abruptly to a height of perhaps 200 or 250 feet. On the seaward slope are the fortifications, on the harbor slope is the city...
We found the weather at San Juan rather more comfortably warm, even on board ship. We were in about latitude 17°, on a level with the south side of San Domingo and the north side of Jamaica, several hundred miles lower than Havana...
To go anywhere in San Juan it is necessary to ascend or descend a hill. The north-and-south streets are steep hills and the east-and-west streets are moderate hills. It is necessary always to walk, for there are no public carriages and very few private ones, and no street cars or other conveyances. The population is large enough to warrant such things, being about thirty thousand, but the hills are so steep and the city is so compact, covering so little ground, that they would not be of much use...
Our first objective point was the café. Every Spanish city, of course, has its café, and San Juan has two. We chose the one on the corner opposite the great cigar factory, "Los dos Antilles," because it was the nearest. and found nearly all its marble tables in use already, although the Porto Rico breakfast hour, 11 o'clock, had barely arrived.
There are only two meals a day in Porto Rico, breakfast at 11 and dinner at 5, and everybody, rich or poor, must eat at those hours, or go without. Breakfast is the more important meal of the two, to be taken with great deliberation and solemnity and soup and Spanish wine, and all the public offices from 11 till 1 while the officers go to breakfast. The café, however, is not a place to eat, except such light things as cakes and ice cream. It is devoted to drinking and smoking and talking, and it is such a universal place of resort that one is reasonably sure in the course of an hour or so of seeing all his male acquaintances there. It has none of the obstreperous features of an American bar, and light and cooling drinks were in far greater demand than strong liquors...

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mississippi_River
The Mississippi River is the chief river of the largest drainage system in North America. Flowing entirely in the United States (though its drainage basin reaches into Canada), it rises in northern Minnesota and meanders slowly southwards for 2,320 miles (3,730 km) to the Mississippi River Delta at the Gulf of Mexico. With its many tributaries, the Mississippi's watershed drains all or parts of 31 U.S. states and 2 Canadian provinces between the Rocky and Appalachian Mountains. The Mississippi ranks as the fourth longest and tenth largest river in the world. The river either borders or passes through the states of Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, Illinois, Missouri, Kentucky, Tennessee, Arkansas, Mississippi, and Louisiana.
Native Americans long lived along the Mississippi River and its tributaries. Most were hunter-gatherers or herders, but some, such as the Mound builders, formed prolific agricultural societies. The arrival of Europeans in the 1500s changed the native way of life as first explorers, then settlers, ventured into the basin in increasing numbers. The river served first as a barrier – forming borders for New Spain, New France, and the early United States – then as a vital transportation artery and communications link. In the 19th century, during the height of Manifest Destiny, the Mississippi and several western tributaries, most notably the Missouri, formed pathways for the western expansion of the United States.
Formed from thick layers of this river's silt deposits, the Mississippi River Valley is one of the most fertile agricultural regions of the country, which resulted in the river's storied steamboat era. During the American Civil War, the Mississippi's capture by Union forces marked a turning point towards victory because of the river's importance as a route of trade and travel, not least to the Confederacy. Because of substantial growth of cities and the larger ships and barges that supplanted riverboats, the decades following the 1900s saw the construction of massive engineering works such as levees, locks and dams, often built in combination.
Since modern development of the basin began, the Mississippi has also seen its share of pollution and environmental problems – most notably large volumes of agricultural runoff, which has led to the Gulf of Mexico dead zone off the Delta. In recent years, the river has shown a steady shift towards the Atchafalaya River channel in the Delta; a course change would prove disastrous to seaports such as New Orleans. While a system of dikes and gates has held the Mississippi in its current channel to date, the shift becomes more likely each year due to fluvial processes...
