Paprika is a 1991 Italian film directed by Tinto Brass. The story follows the title character, a young girl who works as a prostitute in various brothels, losing any sense of self confidence and self-respect. But eventually she finds redemption, wealth and her one true love. The film is loosely based on John Cleland's Fanny Hill.
It was remade as an explicit porn film by Joe D'Amato in the mid-1990s.

Plot
Three scientists at the Foundation for Psychiatric Research fail to secure a device they've invented, the D.C. Mini, which allows people to record and watch their dreams. A thief uses the device to enter people's minds, when awake, and distract them with their own dreams and those of others. Chaos ensues. The trio - Chiba, Tokita, and Shima - assisted by a police inspector and by a sprite named Paprika must try to identify the thief as they ward off the thief's attacks on their own psyches. Dreams, reality, and the movies merge, while characters question the limits of science and the wisdom of Big Brother.

Plot

Munkát vállal Madame Collette bordélyházában, hogy keresetével megoldja Nino problémáit. A Madame az, aki a temperamentumos és tüzes teremtésnek a Paprika nevet adja, és hamar megkedveli őt, hiszen a buja idomokkal megáldott leányzó igazán szép forgalmat bonyolít le. Első kuncsaftja a jóképű tengerész, Franco, aki belehabarodik Paprikába, a lány azonban még mindig Ninónak tartogatja a szívét. A vőlegény viszont, miután menyasszonya segítségével kikeveredett a bajból, faképnél hagyja a lányt. A férfiak már csak ilyenek, hiszen hamarosan kiderül, hogy a bordélyház falain kívül Francónak is van valakije, legalábbis Paprika ezt hiszi, amikor egy nyilvános helyen meglátja a tengerészt egy másik nővel. Paprika a vonaton megismerkedik egy rámenős fiatal férfival, Roccóval. A kisstílű gengszter a lány stricije lesz: megvédi ugyan Paprikát az inzultusoktól, de ki is használja őt.
