Micah: [referring to his first sight of Samarra] Nahreeb, you said that everything has its price.::Nahreeb: She is not for a follower of Jehovah!::Micah: I mean to have her one way or the other!
Micah: Asham. I've drunk deep of every wine from here to Petra, and I've had my full share of women. Yet I'm behaving like a beardless boy panting for the first forbidden fruit that he sees. A priestess who worships a painted graven image! But she's in my blood!
Carmish: You're a stranger in Damascus. I can tell by your beard. And what each stranger hungers to see first is the Tinted Wall. Only a stone's throw away, the Tinted Wall! Let Carmish take you, for as Carmish is known to say, grab hold of the day - who knows if the night will ever come?
Yasmin: I do not care where I've been. I only care where I am.
Nahreeb: I'll break his body and what he calls his soul!
Nahreeb: Damacus has dealt generously with you. Even your slave has a slave.
Ruth: A woman always knows more than her man thinks.
Micah: Sometimes, Asham, a man must make a little trouble.
Samarra: The women in the wheel are the pick of the market. Did you not notice how superb were the haunches of the Grecian woman and how the lips of the Egyptian parted when she looked at any man?
Samarra: A high priestess cries the day she is born and never again in her lifetime.

The Iraqi army pushes deeper into Ramadi as it presses ahead with its massive offensive aimed at fully liberating the city of Ramadi from the Daesh terrorist group.
Iraqi military officials say the army has fully freed a district in the north of the city. At least nine terrorists were killed in the operation. The Iraqi forces are now trying to purge residential areas. The Iraqi army had, for months, been preparing to launch their final attack on Ramadi which fell to Daesh also known as ISIL in May. Initial efforts to retake Ramadi started in April after the army managed to drive the terrorists out of Tikrit. The operation, however, was hampered by the lack of reinforcements and the explosives planted by Daesh around the city. Ramadi is the capital of Anbar, which is Iraq’s largest province.

U.S. airstrikes in recent days killed an estimated 350 Islamic State fighters held up in the western Iraqi city of Ramadi, an American military spokesman said today, suggesting the extremists lost as much as half of their defending force. Col. Steve Warren, spokesman for the U.S. military command in Baghdad, told reporters at the Pentagon that there had been an estimated 600 to 1,000 Islamic State fighters inside Ramadi, which the extremist group captured in May. Despite this depletion of Islamic State forces, U.S. officials are reluctant to predict how long it will take to reclaim the city, which is the capital of Anbar province and a key to the Iraqi government's hopes of restoring its borders.
Defense Secretary Ash Carter, speaking separately today, said Iraqi progress in retaking Ramadi has been disappointingly slow. "I am certain it will fall, and we will assist in the making of it fall," Carter said of Ramadi. He added that the U.S. would be willing to commit U.S. Army Apache attack helicopters to the battle for Ramadi, if the Iraqi government requests it and if it would "make a strategically decisive difference."
Asked about that comment later, Warren said, "Apache helicopters are ready," if Washington and Baghdad give the go-ahead. U.S. officials have frequently expressed frustration with how long it has taken the Iraqi army and other security forces to press an offensive in Ramadi, but in recent days, they have pointed to important battlefield progress. On Tuesday, Iraqi forces seized an Islamic State operations center in the strategic Tamim neighborhood on the outskirts of the city.
With approximately 10,000 troops, including federal police, committed to the fight for Ramadi, the Iraqis vastly outnumber the defenders. Iraqi Maj Gen. Ismail al-Mahlawi, head of military operations in Anbar province, said there are approximately 300 Islamic State fighters trapped in the center of Ramadi, which lies on the Euphrates River.

The Iraqi army has launched a long-awaited massive offensive to fully liberate the central city of Ramadi from the Daesh terrorist group.
The troops had earlier taken control of the suburbs and are now trying to capture the city center. Initial efforts to retake Ramadi started in April after the army managed to purge the city of Tikrit from the terrorists. The operation, however, was hampered by the lack of reinforcements and the explosives planted by the ISIL around the city. Ramadi is the capital of Iraq’s largest province Anbar. It fell to the ISIL in May.

The Battle of Ramadi, also called the Fall of Ramadi, in 2014 and 2015 was part of an ISIL offensive to capture all of the Anbar Province. Ramadi was one of the Iraqi government's last strongholds in Anbar, after its success in a previous campaign. The battle began in October 2014 and drew to a close as Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) insurgents seized hold of government buildings on 14 May 2015. On 17 May, it was reported that the Iraqi Army and special forces fled the city, with 500 civilians and security personnel dead.

This is war footage being uploaded for Documentation and mockery. This is the battle of Ramadi which occured in the middle of May 2015 in which the Islamic State took over the An Bar providince completely and managed to do this after the administration had claimed they were not strong enough to take another big grab of land again. This is not an attempt to glorify war and is only being uploaded to enlighten.
Any videos I have uploaded with explicit content is specifically for journalistic reasons only. I will put up videos of members of terrorist organizations speaking about the reasoning or reasons they are committing crimes that I do not endorse nor condone.
This is specifically to show that they do not reference Foreign policy as a reason for their actions but they reference religious reasoning for actions. The reason I upload these videos is for enlightenment so people can understand why these people are acting in such a grotesque manner.

Iraqi military planes have dropped leaflets on the ISIL-held city of Ramadi, asking residents to leave within 72 hours.
Army officials say the move is an indication that a major military operation to retake the city center will start soon. Last week Iraqi forces made advances on two fronts in Ramadi, clearing Daesh from a key military command base and the al-Taamim neighborhood on the western side of the city. The military forces backed by volunteers surrounded Ramadi earlier this month, cutting off all of ISIL’s supply routes. The city is located around 100 kilometers west of the capital Baghdad. It was captured by the terrorists in May.

The Iraqi army is poised to launch an attack to retake the central city of Ramadi from Daesh terrorists.
The Iraqi Defense Ministry says the army will start the military operation in the coming hours. It stresses that the Takfiri terrorists are preventing civilians from fleeing the city ahead of the operation. The ministry also says Daesh wants to use civilians as human shields. The Iraqi military aircraft had earlier dropped leaflets on Ramadi urging residents to leave the city. The army troops have been advancing on capital of Anbar province over the past weeks. Former Iraqi National Security Advisor Muwaffaq al-Rubay'i tells Press TV that almost ninety percent of the city of Ramadi has been liberated from the Daesh terrorist group.
Rubay'i said there are only some pockets of resistance from the ISIL terrorists inside the city and security forces are trying to drive them out as soon as possible. The Iraqi official hailed the achievement by the Iraqi troops and expressed hope that displaced residents of Ramadi could return to their homes soon. The Iraqi army began its all-out offensive early Tuesday in a bid to retake Ramadi from the ISIL.
The Iraqi troops had been preparing for months to attack the ISIL in Ramadi after the terrorists overran the city in May. The operation was being hampered by the lack of reinforcements and the explosives planted by Daesh around the city. Ramadi is the capital of Anbar and its liberation paves the way for regaining more ground in western and northern Iraq.

British hostage John Cantlie has appeared in a new ISIS propaganda video entitled “From Inside Aleppo.” The documentary style video shows the 43-year-old photojournalist, who has been held captive by ISIS for over two years, reporting as a travel guide on a range of topics including education, drone strikes, and sharia law along with references to the Charlie Hebdo attack. We take a look at the video, in this Lip News clip with Elliot Hill and Jason Venzor.

Saudi Arabia[c] (Listeni/ˌsɔːdiː əˈreɪbiə/, Listeni/ˌsaʊ-/), officially known as the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia,[d] is the largest Arab state in Western Asia by land area (approximately 2,150,000 km2 (830,000 sq mi)), constituting the bulk of the Arabian Peninsula, and the second-largest geographically in the Arab world. It is bordered by Jordan and Iraq to the north, Kuwait to the northeast, Qatar, Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates to the east, Oman to the southeast, and Yemen in the south. It is the only nation with both a Red Sea coast and a Persian Gulf coast, and most of its terrain consists of arid inhospitable desert or barren landforms.
The area of modern-day Saudi Arabia formerly consisted of four distinct regions: Hejaz, Najd, and parts of Eastern Arabia (Al-Ahsa) and Southern Arabia ('Asir).[10] The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia was founded in 1932 by Ibn Saud. He united the four regions into a single state through a series of conquests beginning in 1902 with the capture of Riyadh, the ancestral home of his family, the House of Saud. The country has since been an absolute monarchy governed along Islamic lines. Wahhabi Islam has been called "the predominant feature of Saudi culture".[11][12] Saudi Arabia is sometimes called "the Land of the Two Holy Mosques" in reference to Al-Masjid al-Haram (in Mecca), and Al-Masjid an-Nabawi (in Medina), the two holiest places in Islam. The Kingdom has a total population of 28.7 million, of which 20 million are Saudi nationals and 8 million are foreigners.[13][14][15]

Tehran says the recent law which restricts visa-free travel to the U-S for those who have visited Iran, is in violation of the nuclear deal between Iran and the P5+1 countries.
Deputy Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi has said that over the past two months, various pressure groups inside the U-S, including pro-Zionist lobbyists, have taken all measures to impede the implementation of the deal known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action or the JCPOA. He added Iran would take the issue to the JCPOA's Joint Commission if the new legislation takes effect. The commission is tasked with reviewing all issues related to the possible breach of the nuclear agreement. Araqchi said the US secretary of state has said the new legislation will be implemented in a manner which does not contravene the nuclear deal.

Bikes Over Baghdad PART 1
"This is a 14 day trip to entertain the troops in the Middle East from Chad DeGroot snapchat (chadisradasadad) perspective with contributions from Rob Darden, Nate Wessel (made me do it), Catfish, Anthony Napolitan, Morgan Wade, and Drew Bezanson. You have been warned…this is a 4 part series with a lot of real talk, real situations, and uncut footage. Enjoy and share with others so you all can see what we saw on this unreal trip to a lot of undisclosed locations in the Middle East."
"Bikes Over Baghdad trips have been going on since 2009 with more than 11 short trips planned. Only these last two in 2015 were mega trips lasting 14 days each. Entertainment is the main goal along with getting the solders minds off where they are. Very appreciative, honest hand shakes, and looking you dead in the eyes with genuine joy for what we did during the shows. This is hard to express in words. Can only be truly felt by attending a show. Numerous times being choked up was the norm. Thank you for the sacrifices and what you do for our freedom."
"Close to 20,000 miles traveled in 15 days. Worth every mile for those smiles. Over 40k with our combined last two trips…Damn." -Chad DeGroot
Day 1 Feeling good but watched American Sniper on the plane. I do this to myself. Great movie, really touching, glad I saw it. On a flight to Amman Jordan which I had to look on a map to figure out where the hell this place is. Horribly bad vibe on this plane. No expressions. Pissed off looks. Kinda heated. Last drop of fireball then I'll be on the dryer for awhile which my body needs.
Day 2 Still traveling to Kuwait. Ali al Salem seems to be our hub but no shows. We need a guide or security to even go one block as rules have changed and getting stricter. Long travel days and very little sleep.
Day 3 Getting on a c-130. Packed arm to arms. Damn this is loaded. Going to Iraq. Still no shows today. Took a Blackhawk still to another base where we are going to build and do a show tomorrow.
Day 4 Taji 1st show was awesome. T-wall set up and box jump. Last time there Nate and Ron drove a tank over the ramps and crushed them. Got on a Chinook and went southwest to a heated area within 5 miles of Isis controlled area. Blackhawk guide next to us shot off a flare and scared the shit out of us all. Sleeping cot style no blankets or pillows. Very small base that used to be Saddam controlled. He buried planes to hide from USA...genius.
Day 5 Camp Havoc. Woke up to bombs going off. They moved up our show a few hours earlier to get us out before some attacks. Everyone is riding so good even with a few bikes missing and a few with no clothes. Old Boeing hanger turned into a container city with permanent residence living there. Could not image being permanent.
Day 6 We didn't get out last night due to airplane maintenance. Our security solders were happy to change planes as the last time their plane started on fire. Did another show as we had nothing to do at Camp Havoc and it turned out to be one of our best. Solders showed up late so we kept riding and stacking clips. We get a tour of the base and witness a tank engaging in about 10 shells rocket fired to Isis between 18-25 miles away. EOD shows us around and I drive a robot over Catfish. The amount of T-walls is insane but really big business in Iraq and Kuwait.

President Obama is banning local police departments from receiving a range of military-style equipment from the federal government -- from grenade launchers to bayonets to certain armored vehicles -- as he implements the recommendations of a panel that examined the controversial gear giveaways in the wake of the Ferguson riots.
The White House announced Monday that Washington would no longer provide some military-style gear while putting stricter controls on other weapons and equipment distributed to law enforcement. The details were released as Obama prepares to travel to Camden, N.J., Monday afternoon to meet with youth and law enforcement, and give a speech.
Nine months earlier, scenes of heavily armed police in riot gear dispelling racially charged protests in Ferguson touched off a debate about federal programs that let local law enforcement apply for such equipment. The White House initially suggested Obama would maintain those programs, but an interagency group found "substantial risk of misusing or overusing" items like tracked armored vehicles, high-powered firearms and camouflage could undermine trust in police.
In previewing the president's trip, the White House said that effective immediately, the federal government will no longer fund or provide armored vehicles that run on a tracked system instead of wheels, weaponized aircraft or vehicles, firearms or ammunition of .50-caliber or higher, grenade launchers, bayonets or camouflage uniforms. The federal government also is exploring ways to recall prohibited equipment already distributed.

The United Nations has hailed Iran’s role in the fight against terrorism and also its humanitarian acts to provide security in the region.
The U-N special envoy to Iraq praised Iran’s role in supporting Iraq and Syria to restore stability in the two countries. Yan Kubish said the only way to help Iraqis resolve their problems is the collaboration of the regional states. Kubish made the comments in a meeting with Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian in Tehran. The Iranian official criticized the fall of Iraq’s western strategic city of Ramadi to ISIL. He said the city’s takeover by the terrorists despite the presence of the so-called anti-ISIL coalition is surprising and questionable. Amir-Abdollahian stressed that Iraq can go past the current crisis only through national unity and avoiding tribal conflicts.

STORYLINE:
The Iraqi military ordered vehicles and motorcycles off the streets from 5 am (0200 GMT) Wednesday until midnight - a move apparently aimed at preventing Shiite gunmen from moving freely about the city.
The vehicle ban was imposed despite a decision by al-Sadr to call off his "million-strong" demonstration set for Wednesday to demand an end to the American military presence.
Al-Sadr's Mahdi militia has been battling American and Iraqi soldiers in the sprawling Sadr City slum.
Fearing the demonstration might trigger violence throughout Baghdad, Iraqi soldiers began turning back military-aged men travelling to the capital Tuesday from Shiite areas to the south.
Al-Sadr then called off the rally, apparently fearing a modest turnout would display weakness at a time when he is locked in a violent power struggle with Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki, a fellow Shiite.
Al-Maliki has told al-Sadr to disband his militia or give up politics.
Instead, al-Sadr's aides called a news conference at a hotel on Firdous Square, where US Marines hauled down the statue of Saddam five years ago.
The aides released a statement condemning the government for allegedly bowing to "the hated American pressure."
Five years on, Iraqis were ambivalent about the fall of the former dictator.

SPARKS, Nev. (AP) — The investigation into the deaths of a ghost-hunting couple in Nevada has determined a male roommate of the woman was fatally shot in the head in a Reno home several hours before police found the paranormal investigators in a barricaded apartment.
Debra and Mark Constantino had appeared on the Travel Channel's series, "Ghost Adventures," including episodes shot at the Mustang Ranch brothel near Reno. They were found dead Tuesday at their adult daughter's apartment across town in Sparks after a two-hour standoff that ended when a SWAT team burst through the door to find their bodies.
About seven hours earlier, Debra Constantino's roommate, James Anderson, was found dead in his Reno home, Sparks police Lt. Rocky Triplett said. That's when they determined Debra Constantino was missing and that she and her husband had a history of domestic violence and were in the process of getting divorced.
Officers encountered gunfire when they arrived at the apartment near Sparks High School at about 11 a.m. but didn't return fire, Triplett said.
Negotiators made contact with Mark Constantino almost immediately and last talked to him about 1:15 p.m., he said. A short time later they heard a single gunshot and the SWAT team rushed in.
The manner of death has yet to be determined pending the completion of the autopsies, Triplett said Friday.
Washoe District Court records show Debra Constantino obtained a restraining order that was served on her estranged husband last week, and the two were scheduled to appear in court in December regarding their pending divorce.
People who knew them gave mixed accounts of their relationship.
Janice Oberding said she became friends with the Constantinos while teaching a class on ghost hunting and spirituality at the Truckee Meadows Community College in 2012. She said she was shocked to learn of the killings.
"We drifted apart and our friendship ended," Oberding told the Reno Gazette-Journal. "But I know at one point she loved him very, very much and he loved her."
Rebecca Evans, 72, of Reno, said she worked as Debra Constantino's life coach and spiritual guide for three years. She said she didn't believe they had any domestic issues early on but problems later progressed.

Syrian Kurdish forces advanced towards an Islamic State stronghold in northeastern Syria on Sunday in an offensive backed by US-led air strikes, a Kurdish official and a monitoring group said.
The Kurdish YPG militia, which last month flushed Islamic State out of the town of Kobane with the help of US and allied air support, launched the offensive in the northeastern Hasaka province overnight.
It is the latest example of coordination between the US-led coalition and the well-organized Syrian Kurdish militia that has been one of Islamic State's toughest enemies in Syria.
The northeastern corner of Syria is strategically important in the fight against Islamic State because it borders areas controlled by the group in Iraq. Islamic State last year declared a cross-border "caliphate" in Syria and Iraq.

U.S. Defense Secretary Ash Carter pledged $18 million on Sunday to help Vietnam buy U.S. patrol boats, shortly after touring a Vietnamese coast guard vessel that was hit by a Chinese ship during a skirmish in the South China Sea. Carter, who has been focusing on maritime security during an 11-day trip to the Asia-Pacific, visited the Vietnamese navy headquarters and coast guard headquarters before boarding the ship. Carter is on his second visit to Asia since becoming defense secretary earlier this year. He said he planned to sign a "vision statement" on Monday with his Vietnamese counterpart to guide the expansion of bilateral military ties.

Iraqi government forces are pushing ahead with their operation to liberate the city of Ramadi from Daesh terrorists.
Heavy fighting is underway around the city’s former government headquarters. Army officials say they are advancing in the southern neighborhood of Hoz. However, the military says their advance is slowed due to large number of explosives planted by ISIL and the possible presence of trapped civilians being used as human shields. Iraqi officials say the number of terrorists left in Anbar’s provincial capital is estimated to be smaller than 400. The operation to retake Anbar started months ago with Iraqi forces cutting ISIL supply lines to parts of the province before gradually closing in on Ramadi. The city was captured by the terrorists in May.

Iraqi military statements said, that coalition air forces pounded positions held by Islamic State in Ramadi on Thursday, in support of government troops seeking to retake the western Iraqi city.
According to a military statement on state TV, 27 airstrikes were carried out by the US-led coalition Warplanes, against insurgent position in the last district they hold in the center of the Sunni Muslim city.
The long-awaited drive to dislodge the militants from Ramadi, the loss of which in May dealt a blow to government efforts to root out Islamic State, started early on Tuesday.

Operation to retake Ramadi enters 3rd day
An operation by Iraqi forces to retake the city of Ramadi from Daesh has entered its third day. Iraqia TV quoted Iraq’s army chief who said Daesh would be expelled from Ramadi in a matter of days. Iraqi Special Forces are fighting on the ground. And the Iraqi air force and US-led coalition are providing air support and bombing Daesh targets. Ramadi has been under Daesh control since May. And it’s expected to be the second major city after Tikrit to be recaptured from the militant group.
Fighting continues in Sangin
Afghan security forces and the Taliban are continuing to fight for control of a key town in the province of Helmand. A police commander in Sangin said Afghan security forces had recaptured the governor’s compound there. And a spokesman for the Afghan army says overnight air strikes on Taliban targets killed 25 militants and wounded 12 others. The town is strategically important for the Taliban as it lies on a smuggling route for drugs, arms and other goods, which fund the group.
Cuban refugee crisis continues
Guatemala rejected on Wednesday a humanitarian appeal by Costa Rica to allow Cuban refugees to travel through Central America on their way to the US. Vice President Alfonso Fuentes said thousands of Cubans stuck in Costa Rica “are not politically persecuted.” 5 to 7 thousand Cubans have been stranded in Costa Rica since mid-November, after Nicaragua closed its borders. Costa Rica has stopped issuing transit visas to Cubans and threatened to deport them. Migration officials from Central American countries, as well as Ecuador, Colombia, Mexico, the United States met in Mexico City on Tuesday to discuss the crisis. The meeting produced no results.
Cabinet approves defence budget
Japan’s cabinet has approved a record military budget worth 42 billion dollars. It’s part of an 800 billion dollar national budget plan for next year. This is the fourth annual increase for military spending under Prime Minister Shinzo Abe. Japan passed a new security legislation in September to enhance the role of its military and increase its co-operation with the United States. Many critics are worried that it may increase the risk of Japan being entangled in a war led by the US.

On May 17, ISIL Takfiri terrorists took control of Ramadi after overrunning government troops.
Last week, the Iraqi army, backed by volunteer fighters known as the Popular Mobilization forces, launched a major offensive southwest of Samarra in an effort to retake Ramadi.

Last week, the Iraqi army, backed by volunteer fighters known as the Popular Mobilization forces, launched a major offensive southwest of Samarra in an effort to retake Ramadi.

There is little denying that the war against ISIS is going poorly, and everyone is looking for a scapegoat. Over the weekend, Defense Secretary Ash Carter placed the blame squarely on Iraq’s military, saying they simply aren’t willing to fight.
Iranian officials are feeling the loss of Ramadi too, but instead of blaming the Iraqis are placing the fault on America’s doorstep, with Gen. Qassim Suleimani declaring the US “has no will to fight” against ISIS and was leaving everything up to them and the Iraqis.
Gen. Suleimani’s comments were clearly meant to contrast to Carter’s own, and he added that the US “didn’t do a damn thing” to stop ISIS’ advance in Ramadi.
Iraqi Premier Hayder Abadi is finding himself in a tough position once again, aiming to dispute Carter’s assessment without trying to alienate the US by backing the Iranian sentiment and risking substantial losses in aid from either side.

DEBATE : So much for jihadists on the backfoot. Islamic State militants have taken control of Ramadi, a development that exposes the continued weakness of government forces. The same forces who took credit recently for the recapture of Tikrit... but who relied heavily on Shiite militias. Now those militias have vowed to help take back Ramadi. Can they go into Anbar without further inflaming sectarian rivalries? More broadly, how to win back all of Iraq?
