This video looks at the Rolex GMT Master II. The BLNR is the first to introduce the two tone cerachrome bezel. This is the first time they used the Black and Blue combination and first color combination with a cerachrome bezel. Previously Rolex has done the blue and red (Pepsi), red and black (Coke), all black, and now the Black and Blue (a.k.a Batman, Bruiser, BLNR).

Solid centerlinks & thicker clasp
The ceramic blue reacts to different lighting with different shades of blue, which is one of the reasons people love this watch. There are several things to love about this watch and very few things not to like.
I really wish all Rolex's had the glidelock clasp, but the easylink gets the job done.
Note: I made a mistake with the timezone explaination. I said noon when I should've said midnight and swapped the two. Even though midnight is black and blue is noon. My bad!
Things to keep an eye on:
Cyclops Magnification - some models have smaller than normal magnification recently 2014-2015 models
Polished centerlinks get dirty easily.
Its expensive, try to get as many perks from the AD as possible, extended warranty, swag, etc. because your chances of a discount is almost none.
Finally, I'm just getting started with the Channel and trying to make improvements as I go. So I know I will make mistakes, but I'm working on it.

Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) is a time system originally referring to mean solar time at the Royal Observatory in Greenwich, London, which later became adopted as a global time standard. It is arguably the same as Coordinated Universal Time (UTC) and when this is viewed as a time zone the name Greenwich Mean Time is especially used by bodies connected with the United Kingdom, such as the BBC World Service, the Royal Navy, the Met Office and others.
Before the introduction of UTC on 1 January 1972 Greenwich Mean Time (also known as Zulu time) was the same as Universal Time (UT) which is a standard astronomical concept used in many technical fields. Astronomers no longer use the term "Greenwich Mean Time".
In the United Kingdom, GMT is the official time only during winter; during summer British Summer Time is used. GMT is the same as Western European Time.
Noon Greenwich Mean Time is rarely the exact moment when the sun crosses the Greenwich meridian (and reaches its highest point in the sky at Greenwich) because of Earth's uneven speed in its elliptic orbit and its axial tilt. This event may be up to 16 minutes away from noon GMT (a discrepancy calculated by the equation of time). The fictitious mean sun is the annual average of this nonuniform motion of the true Sun, necessitating the inclusion of mean in Greenwich Mean Time.

This video looks at the Rolex GMT Master II. The BLNR is the first to introduce the two tone cerachrome bezel. This is the first time they used the Black and Blue combination and first color combination with a cerachrome bezel. Previously Rolex has done the blue and red (Pepsi), red and black (Coke), all black, and now the Black and Blue (a.k.a Batman, Bruiser, BLNR).

EasyLink adjustment
Polished centerlinks
Solid centerlinks & thicker clasp
The ceramic blue reacts to different lighting with different shades of blue, which is one of the reasons people love this watch. There are several things to love about this watch and very few things not to like.
I really wish all Rolex's had the glidelock clasp, but the easylink gets the job done.
Note: I made a mistake with the timezone explaination. I said noon when I should've said midnight and swapped the two. Even though midnight is black and blue is noon. My bad!
Things to keep an eye on:
Cyclops Magnification - some models have smaller than normal magnification recently 2014-2015 models
Polished centerlinks get dirty easily.
Its expensive, try to get as many perks from the AD as possible, extended warranty, swag, etc. because your chances of a discount is almost none.
Finally, I'm just getting started with the Channel and trying to make improvements as I go. So I know I will make mistakes, but I'm working on it.

From Neil's website: Steinhart GMT Ocean 1 Black Red automatic divers watch. The movement is a Swiss made ETA 2893-2 automatic winding movement which is the industry standard for Swiss and German made GMT automatic watches. It is a 25 jewel movement with Nivarox spring balance and Incabloc shock protection. The functions include hours, minutes and seconds displayed by the central sweep hand, and second time zone GMT hand. The second hand is a hack hand which stops when setting the time for accurate time synchronization. It is 30 ATM which is about 300 meters so is fully water proof. It comes on a good quality steel bracelet with fliplock safety clasp. Steinhart reference number is T0202. Dimensions are as follows. Width is 42 mm excluding the crown, 46 mm including the crown, lug to lug is 50 mm and thickness is 14.5 mm.
The lug width is 22 mm and the weight of the watch is 190g. IMO the weight and balance of this watch is perfect. It's very comfortable on wrist. Only my titanium Seiko SBDC007 is more comfortable (with the exception of my Rolex Day-Date and my Omega speedmaster but they are both smaller 38mm watches).

Here, I take another look at my new Steinhart GMT Ocean I this time in 4k UHD. My impressions are that it's a high-quality timepiece with one shortcoming: The clasp on the bracelet. Watch the video for details.

From Neil's website: Steinhart GMT Ocean 1 Black Red automatic divers watch. The movement is a Swiss made ETA 2893-2 automatic winding movement which is the industry standard for Swiss and German made GMT automatic watches. It is a 25 jewel movement with Nivarox spring balance and Incabloc shock protection. The functions include hours, minutes and seconds displayed by the central sweep hand, and second time zone GMT hand. The second hand is a hack hand which stops when setting the time for accurate time synchronization. It is 30 ATM which is about 300 meters so is fully water proof. It comes on a good quality steel bracelet with fliplock safety clasp. Steinhart reference number is T0202. Dimensions are as follows. Width is 42 mm excluding the crown, 46 mm including the crown, lug to lug is 50 mm and thickness is 14.5 mm.
The lug width is 22 mm and the weight of the watch is 190g. IMO the weight and balance of this watch is perfect. It's very comfortable on wrist. Only my titanium Seiko SBDC007 is more comfortable (with the exception of my Rolex Day-Date and my Omega speedmaster but they are both smaller 38mm watches).

Last week I was given an extremely generous gift by a friend, viewer and supporter of the channel. After a week of wear I decide to give the watch the full "Urban Gentry" treatment and review. Could this offering from TAG be the GMT to end my endless search for an automatic duel time complication? As my first TAG, this watch is a very surprising timepiece indeed. While far from perfect it packs a lot in it punch considering its price and has opened my eyes to a brand I had naively overlooked in the past.
