From Jennifer Aniston to Sofia Vergara to Nicky Hilton to Mila Kunis – it was a busy year of celebrity "I dos".
Shunning glitz and glamour seemed to be the main theme of 2015 with half of those featured on the list – including Ashton Kutcher and Kunis, Aniston and Justin Theroux, Stephen Fry and Elliot Spencer, Johnny Depp and Amber Heard, Benji Madden and Cameron Diaz, and Benedict Cumberbatch and Sophie Hunter – all opting for low-key, intimate affairs.
When it came to dresses, bigger was definitely better – just ask Hilton, who opted for a $100,000 Valentino, lace wedding dress that mimicked the style of royal brides Kate Middleton and Grace Kelly, or tennis pro Andy Murray's wife Kim Sears who wore a puffy Jenny Packham that divided opinion.

Celebrities who got hitched in 2015

The traditional veil also made a welcome return with Guy Ritchie's model wife Jacqui Ainsley doing it best when the pair married in front of celebrity friends like David Beckham, Henry Cavill and Armie Hammer at their country home in Wiltshire, England, in July.
However, kicking traditions was also prevalent – particularly seen when former The Hills star Whitney Port married producer Tim Rosenman in Palm Springs, California in November. The reality TV star turned fashion designer wore a high-low design by Ashi Studio, that was modelled on an Italian chandelier, according to Us Weekly.
For 2016, expect plenty of metallics, just picked flowers, romantic lighting, non-floral centrepieces and naked cakes according to The Bridal Guide.
