Captain Mango Vivian: "We have to take the path we have to take". That boy is becoming more clever with his words every day!

On the night of the heavyweight boxing championship, Rick becomes mixed up in the assassination of the Secretary of Defense, an assassination involving his best friend. Becoming the investigating officer in the case, Rick soon uncovers a conspiracy to kill the Secretary and a mysterious woman in white. The conspiracy was shocking, but not half as shocking as the identity of its mastermind.

Taglines: Believe Everything Except Your Eyes Watch Closely Now you see it. Now you don't. He's got 14,000 eyewitnesses and no one saw a thing. Seeing is Deceiving
Quotes:
Julia: Look, I'm sorry.::Rick Santoro: Who gives a shit if you're sorry?::Julia: What are you mad at me for?::Rick Santoro: Because I didn't have to know! You decided to have this problem, not me! My world would've gone on turning just fine, but now, either way I look, I have to do something that I don't wanna do. Do you I understand, I do not wanna do this!
Rick Santoro: Who the hell do you think you are, lady? Sticking your nose in where it doesn't belong. You were a number cruncher. Just crunch the goddamn numbers.
Rick: I'm betting that the redhead you followed is the same person who told Tyler to throw the fight. She's one. Shooter's two. Tyler's three. The drunk who shouted the signal is four and whoever was on the other end of that radio is five. Five people make a conspiracy, right?
Kevin Dunne: Terri likes to talk to me during sex. Last night she called me from the hotel.
'Ricky' Santoro: It isn't lying! You just tell them what you did right, and you leave out the rest!
Commander Kevin Dunne: How's Angela?::'Ricky' Santoro: Fat, fabulous, fantastic - I love her.::Commander Kevin Dunne: How's the other one - what's her name? Candy?::'Ricky' Santoro: Oh, Monique? Skinny, mean, expensive - I *LOVE* her!
[Points at the bodyguard's hand on his arm]::'Ricky' Santoro: See where your hand is? That's a felony.
Rick: This is fight night and I am the king.
Kevin Dunne: Don't give me that wounded look. You haven't got the face for it.
Kevin Dunne: [after Rick is pummeled by Tyler] Sounds like three broken ribs to me. What is this? A heroic stand? You're the wrong guy for it, Rick. You'll be all alone in the spotlight. And guys like you can't stand up to that light. You'll burn up under it. The press starts looking for dirt on you - and they will - it will be a mudslide. Forget about your job, your sweet life in Margate. Start thinking about jail! Your girlfriend will be gone, too, at the first sign of trouble but not before she has a little chat with Angela so say good-bye to your wife too! Twice a month with Michael won't be so bad, if you can get him to spend the night in your shitty apartment! You will lose it all, my friend - everything! And your whole connected life will fall the hell apart. Is that what you want? All you have to do is be consistent for God's sake. Do what you always do: Take the money! You want to be a hero? You want to do something for your country? Then tell me where the girl is! [Rick, wounded and bleeding, smiles and spits blood onto Dunne's medals]

Travel video about destination Rabat in Morocco.
Rabat is the capital of Morocco and also its royal seat of power. The main residence of King Mohammed the Sixth is a fascinating modern metropolis. Along with its monumental works of art, it is the fourth oldest of the Makhzen cities, is also one of Morocco's most important.
Cafés and workshops reflect daily life and most of the city's souks are divided into specialized areas with items such as leather goods, blankets and carpets for sale and with a little haggling, it's possible to purchase quality handicrafts at a very modest price!
The Kasbah des Udayas was built by Yaqub al-Mansur in the 12th century. It is located at Rabat's most elevated point and is like a village within the city. The eight metre high wall once protected the Kasbah and its inhabitants. The fortress is inhabited to the present day.
Barred windows create an Andalusian ambience. The Kasbah is one of the most popular though most expensive addresses in Rabat.
Throughout the centuries, the Moroccan coast was dominated by pirates but the might of European colonialists put an end to their dubious activities.
The mausoleum of Mohammed V was built in 1967 and the tomb complex contains a mosque, a mausoleum and a small memorial that contains images of the king.
At the end of the 12th century, Yaqub al-Mansur constructed the largest mosque in the Maghreb. At a height of 60 metres, its minaret was taller than any other in North Africa. Four hundred columns support the prayer room and it has 14 gates.
Rabat is a fascinating capital city and royal residence - an exotic world that lies between both occident and orient.

Travel video about destination Rabat in Morocco.
Rabat was once the centre of power of the Almohades and today it is the capital of Morocco and the government headquarters of King Mohammed The Sixth. The majority of its buildings are linked to the country's historic past and its former sovereigns including the Mausoleum of Mohammed The Fifth. Opposite the Mausoleum is one of the city's best-known landmarks, the Tour Hassan that rises 44 metres into the sky. In the picturesque quarter of the Kasbah Des Oudaias with its whitewashed houses and sky-blue doors and window frames is the city's oldest mosque. When Marrakech became the country's capital city, Rabat gradually fell into decline until when, in 1609, Andalusian Muslims and Jews settled here. An increasing number of people inhabited the Kasbah. The administrative area and likewise named parade ground of Mechouar in the south west of the town is part of the Cite Royale, a town within a town. Beyond the city's defensive walls, the ancient ruins of Chellah are a reminder of both Pre-Christian and Pre-Islamic times. During the 3rd century B.C. the Carthaginians built their first trading establishment here that was later extended and became the famous Roman harbour of Sala. Due to its rich history, architecture and unique ambience, each year this royal city at the mouth of the Bou Regreg enchants thousands of visitors from all over the world.

Travel video about destination Morocco.
Casablanca is the largest city in Morocco, has the most important harbour in North Africa and is gateway to the magic of the Orient. In the Koran it says: ‘And Allah’s Throne Was On The Water !’ Thus inspired, the Grand Mosque was built on Casablanca’s shoreline. This monumental building was designed to accommodate 105,000 believers and its tall minaret dominates the city’s skyline. More than twelve million people helped finance this ‘Eighth Wonder Of The World’ which involved 90 engineers and 30,000 craftsmen and artists. Lying northwards along the Atlantic coast, is Rabat, Morocco’s capital and home to its government and royal family. The King’s Palace, the Palais Royal, is a town in itself. Surrounded by walls and protected by royal guards, since 1864 it has been the main residence of the Alaouite Dynasty which has been in power since 1666. To the south of RABAT lies Chellah, City of the Dead. The Merinde necropolis has a square tower and is surrounded by a wall made of crushed loam, proof that the Cathagers built a trading centre here in the 3rd century B.C. Amongst the tombs, the sarcophagus of Sultan Abou El-Hassan stands proud with its artistic engravings. Fez El-Bali dates back to the Middle Ages and contains narrow streets, a pungent mixture of scents, the penetrating sound of craftsmen and fine examples of the Moorish art of building. Travelling through the Atlas Mountains, the small town of Ilfrane boasts tranquil parks and ponds, modern residential areas and shady avenues which take the traveller by surprise. Just as with their ancestors over the centuries, even today nomads and their camels traverse the endless Sahara. For a distance of over 40 kilometres, the magic landscape of the sand dunes compares with the largest in the world. Finally, Marrakesh, dreamy city at the foot of the High Atlas and Morocco’s most beautiful city. What better location to end the fairytale that is Morocco!

In addition to Meknes, Fés and Marrakesh, Morocco’s capital city of Rabat is one of the country’s historic four royal cities. Despite their differences, these cities share a common bond as they each contain the cultural and architectural treasures of a fascinating epoch. Rabat has a rich and colourful history and was first settled in the 8th century B.C. nearly two thousand years before the Hassan Tower was built. With its beautiful minaret, the 18th century Mosquée Es- Sounna is the most outstanding religious building in the centre of the city. The most architecturally impressive of the four royal cities is Meknès. In the 17th century Moulay Ismaíl made this city into his own and thus created several new buildings. In addition to the largest gate in the Maghreb, the Bab El-Mansour, the city’s former twenty kilometre long wall symbolises a further important legacy and highlights the wealth and flamboyance of the Alaouit sovereign. Although Meknès is one of the younger Moroccan royal cities it contains more than a thousand years of history and its fertile land was even much prized by the Romans. Fès is the oldest and, at the same time, liveliest of all four royal cities. Beyond its historic walls lies the origin of the Moroccan monarchy as well as numerous outstanding treasuries of the Islamic Middle Ages. Fès El-Jdid, an earlier section of the old town centre, is dominated by an immense palace, the Palais Royal. Beyond its gilded bronze gates is a small, luxurious world. Numerous architectural gems highlight the former incredible wealth of Fès. Marrakesh’s history began in the 11th century when the Berber tribe of the Almoravides first settled on the Haouz Plain. In the course of time the early caravan trade with Black Africa and Marrakesh’s southerly location transformed the city into what was the most African of Morocco’s four royal cities and although the legendary caravans have since been replaced by modern roads and motor vehicles both past and present continue to live side by side. Even today each of the Morocco’s four royal cities displays the former enormity, power and beauty of Maghreb culture in Morocco thus their historical monuments still manage to reflect the splendour of the country’s intriguing and glorious past.

Morocco is fulfulling our dreams about the Tales of One Thousand and One Nights even today. It is an exotic and romantic country with the thousand miracles or the Arab world; old cities, mosques, bazaars, natural beauties from palm tree gardens to sand dunes and from the frosty tops of the Atlas mountains to the beaches of Agadir. There are the oases in the Sahara, the colorful buildings of Marrakesh, the Anti-Atlas’s green valleys and the forts of the Foreign Legion. The royal cities are all wonderful: Casablanca, well known from the famous movie with the same title, the capital, Rabat, the ancient Fes, and the elegant cultural centre, Marrakesh. The Djemaa El Fna square has a unique atmosphere, where magicians, henna painters, acrobats, belly dancers, tale tellers from the Sahara, healers, dancers, Koran discussers, snake charmers and cooks make up the colorful market. Morocco with its thousand faces can be found in the buildings, which are incredibly ornamented, the sound of the snake charmers’ pipes, the silence of the mosques, the native people of the Sahara, the turmoil of the bazaar, the smell of various spices, the pattern of the carpets, the medinas conjuring the past, the taste of the mint tea, and it looks the way we always thought it would

Kyrgyzstan, or the Kyrgyz Republic to give it its official name, is quite simply one of the most interesting, pristine and beautiful countries in Asia, offering the adventurous traveller a rich and rewarding destination. My name is Jonny Bealby, I founded Wild Frontiers, and in this short film I am going to talk about tourism in Kyrgyzstan.
Although small, Kyrgyzstan is perfectly formed. The Tien Shan – or Mountains of Heaven – that stretch across its length and breadth are lush and green, high and wild, dissected by sweeping steppe lands, primal forests, crystal streams, turquoise lakes and lofty snow-capped peaks. I first rode through here on horseback in 1999 while writing a book and making a Discovery Channel film, and I thought then it really was one of the most beautiful countries I had ever visited.
The country is primarily a mountainous land rising in altitude from 400 metres in the Ferghana Valley to over 7,400 metre on the summit of Peak Pobeda. More than half of the country is over 3,000 metres high, while a third is permanently covered in snow. But despite the immense natural beauty of this landlocked Central Asian, Silk Road republic, it is the people themselves that bring Kyrgyzstan to life, and on many of our tours to the country you will stay with local families with whom we have developed special friendships.
So to the country and the main sites you’ll see. Heading east out of the leafy, tree-lined streets of the capital Bishkek – a place renowned for its markets, monuments and excellent museum – you’ll first pass the imposing 11th century Borana Tower, before skirting the edge of Lake Izzy Kul. Here, in the far northeast of the country, you can spend a couple of days on the lake, visit the interesting town of Karakol or head to Karkara Mountain Camp for a bit of helicopter assisted glacier trekking, available every year on our Celestial Mountain Action Adventure.
From here you’ll probably move on around the southern shores of the lake, visiting one of the famous eagle hunters, and possibly trek over the one of the many magnificent passes, before hitting the main road south towards China, and one of the last remaining ancient Silk Road caravanserais at Tash Rabat. Here you can go for walks, or ride one of the local’s horses, all the while staying in one of the traditional yurts while Nazira and her family look after you. People often ask me, where is my favourite place in the world – well, this is right up there; sitting on the hills above the valley is one of the most peaceful settings I know.
From here most will either head over the border to China and the famous Silk Road crossroads town of Kashgar or west across the mountains to another jewel in the Kyrgyz crown, Lake Son Kul. A 3,000 metre high glacial lake, some 40 kilometres in length, again it offers a great place to walk or ride among the hills and meet more of the locals.
As you head further west so you can cross the sensational Ferghana range and visit the region around the Tajik border – particularly travelling up to Peak Lenin base camp – or head down into the Ferghana Valley and the ancient Silk Road town of Osh. Many of our trips come this way as they head into neighbouring Uzbekistan, but continuing on the circuit back round towards Bishkek and you come to yet another wonderful region of natural beauty, Sary Chelek National Park.
At Wild Frontiers we run both small group tours and tailor-made holidays to Kyrgyzstan. While some trips focus solely on this country, others take in Kyrgyzstan on longer journeys through this Silk Road region. It’s also the place that we run one of our best horse riding adventures; loosely following the route I took back in 1999, for those interested in equine holidays, this trip is simply sensational.
As you can see, as far as natural mountain beauty is concerned Kyrgyzstan is unrivalled in the region. It is a country with few political issues, a place with good tourist infrastructure and yet relatively few tourist. It’s a place where you can walk, ride, mountain bike, raft or heli-trek – with us, all on a single trip! – and as of 2012 there are no visa requirements for British and many other nationalities.
As I say when I rode through the country 15 years ago, I knew I had discovered a gem…and so it is today. Kyrgyzstan really is one of adventure travels best kept secrets.

Travel video about destination Chella in Morocco.
Located on the outskirts of the Moroccan capital of Rabat, a tall and impressive wall of compressed clay encloses the Necropolis of Chella. This fortress-like construction dates back to the 14th century. The Mereniden leaders, Abou Said and Abou El Hassan, were responsible for the construction of this mighty structure. The view from the watchtowers is augmented by lush vegetation, a picturesque view that has remained unchanged for several centuries. Numerous paths lead through an array of colourful vegetation in front of the Necropolis, the foundations of which the Carthaginians occupied during the 3rd century. Twisted and seemingly tortured trees add an air of mystique and intrigue to the atmospheric surroundings while all around there is a magnificent and colourful display of flowers and blossom in the tranquil splendour of this unusual and enchanting place. Today, Chella's minaret is crowned by a stork's nest, the 'City of the Dead' having become a natural habitat for these wonderfully majestic birds. A large and magnificently decorated gate was the entrance to the the Necropolis, the 'City of the Dead', that was established here during Merenides rule. Close to the pulsating capital of Morocco and its population of half a million, Chella exudes a unique sense of historical mystique and has successfully managed to retain an alluring ambience of historic tranquillity.

Travel video about destination Marrakesh in Morocco.
Marrakesh, the 'red pearl' of Morocco was founded by Yusuf ibn Tashfin in 1062. It is one of the country's four Royal Cities. Up to the beginning of the 20th century, the city was a trading centre for both the north of Morocco and the Sahara and the monarchs of various dynasties made Marrakesh their capital city.
The large souks of Marrakesh's Medina are divided into numerous sections and stock just about everything known to man!
In spite of the city's apparent calm, there is much activity and the traffic is surprisingly well disciplined.
Marrakesh has the largest souks in Morocco. As well as shoes and clothing, they stock all the necessities of life and of course, bargaining and haggling are the norm! Daily life in the souks is dominated by trade. They are a vital meeting place and trading centre for the farmers of the High Atlas. Those who wish to experience Moroccan daily life can do so here and a stroll through the narrow alleys, taking in the city's sounds and aromas, explains far more than any travel guide.
Djemaa el Fna is the 'Square of the Beheaded' and is Marrakesh's most famous attraction with snake charmers, musicians and storytellers. In 2001, the Square of the Beheaded was designated by Unesco as a World Heritage Site.
Built in 1158, the minaret of the Koutoubia Mosque is the symbol of the city. The 77 metre tall sandstone minaret served as the model for the Giralda in Seville and the Hassan Tower in Rabat. Most of the mosque was built by Spanish prisoners of war.
Marrakesh is an historic bridge that unites both urban and nomadic cultures, an exotic gateway to Africa and a captivating window to Europe!
