Church bell
A church bell is a bell which is rung in a church either to signify the hour or the time for worshippers to go to church, perhaps to attend a wedding, funeral, or other service. In Christianity, many Anglican, Catholic, and Lutheran churches ring their church bells from belltowers three times a day, at 6:00 A.M., 12:00 P.M. and 6:00 P.M., summoning the Christian faithful to recite the Lord’s Prayer, or the Angelus, a prayer recited in honour of the Incarnation of God. Bells are commonly rung in celebration, such as after a wedding or service of thanksgiving, and sometimes (usually just a single bell) after funerals as the coffin leaves or is interred. Before modern communication methods, in small communities church bells were the common way to call the community together for all purposes, both sacred and secular.
European Christian church bells typically have the form of a cup-shaped cast metal resonator with a flared thickened rim, and a pivoted metal striker or clapper hanging from its center inside. It is usually mounted high in a bell tower on top of the church, so it can be heard by the surrounding community. The bell is suspended at its apex from a horizontal axle, so it can swing from side to side. A rope is tied to a pulley or lever on the axle, and hangs down to ground level. To ring the bell, the bell-ringer pulls on the rope, swinging the bell. The motion causes the clapper to hit the inside rim of the bell as it swings, making the sound. Alternatively, the bell may be suspended from a stationary support, and the bell rung by pulling a rope attached to the clapper to one side.

He listens with the desperate hope that he'll find gold that he thinks she has. The stories intersect when Edge sorts out the old woman's connection to Luke.

The Bell Rung 300 Part 2: Church Bell Repair
Here is another project that starts out with a simple plan! This is part two of The Bell Rung 300 series. I share the first contact note from my customer! Hello, I have a church bell that I am restoring for a church in Sharon, Ct. I have the steeple that the bell sits under here at the shop in Falmouth along with the bell. The yoke pintle pins have wallowed out the A frame sockets. What I've done in the past is have a machine shop install bushings into the A frame and machine the pintle pins to fit. We would need a grease nipple tapped into each A frame. I've attached photos below for your reference. I can deliver the yoke and A frames if you are interested in taking on the project. I'm looking at about a 4-6 week lead time before the steeple will need to be shipped back to CT. -

Tinky Winky is the first Teletubby. He is the largest of the Teletubbies and has a triangular antenna on his head. He is notable for his magic bag and is purple.
✩ Dipsy ✩
Dipsy is the second Teletubby. He is lime green and is named "Dipsy" because his antenna resembles a dipstick. He likes his black and white furry top hat, which he once lost. Laa-Laa found it, but instead of simply returning Dipsy's hat to the stricken Dipsy, she ran around it for about ten minutes shouting "Dipsy Hat! Dipsy Hat!". He is the most stubborn of the Teletubbies, and will sometimes refuse to go along with the other Teletubbies' group opinion.
✩ Laa-Laa ✩
Laa-Laa is the third Teletubby. She is sunflower yellow, and has a curly antenna. She likes to sing and dance, and is often seen to look out for the other Teletubbies. Her favourite thing is a bouncy, orange ball, which is almost as big as she is.
✩ Po ✩
Po is the fourth and last Teletubby. She is the smallest and youngest of the Teletubbies, is rosy red, and has an antenna shaped like a stick used for blowing soap bubbles. Her favourite object is her scooter, which she calls "scoota". Po can sometimes be mischievous and naughty, as when she disobeys the commands of the "Voice Trumpets"
✩ Noo-noo ✩
Noo-noo is the vacuum cleaner that hardly ventures outside, instead remaining indoors and constantly cleaning with its sucker-like nose. It does not speak like the other characters, instead communicating through a series of slurping and sucking noises. At times, Noo-noo gets annoyed with the Teletubbies' antics and can vacuum their food or toys. This usually prompts the Teletubbies to scold Noo-noo through a cry of "Naughty Noo-noo!".
