I guess this is more of a preview as I have not had the machine long enough to review its durability. If your OK with the price tag pull the trigger. I would only warrant a purchase if you have the time and resources to throw 1k in pennies a week into this. Don't worry it can handle it. Otherwise lower end models are fine. Although not part of Malton’s ‘Food Capital Of Yorkshire’ brand-building exercise, Sausage Fishing has well and truly 'taken off' and tourists are flocking to Ryedale to be part of this latest street food craze. Tourism chiefs are excited and rumoured to be in talks with the Sausage Fishing fraternity about a Ryedale Sausage Fishing stage at next year's re-named 'Sewer de Yorkshire'. Watch this space for further details.
North Yorkshire County Council has given the thumbs up (or was that down?) to the idea, and consulting engineers Ayup, has been approached to devise ways of ensuring that the Yorkshire Water sewers continue to pollute the streets of Ryedale. Everyone is keen to ensure a bountiful supply of sausage in the River Derwent come this time next year. No expense will be incurred by Yorkshire Water to prevent the sewage from polluting Ryedale's waterways.

Remember: Sausage Fishing is for everyone - but there are a few rules. In order that the sport can grow for the economic benefit of the whole of Ryedale (a cultural economic requirement), it is essential that Yorkshire Water be allowed to carry on polluting our roads and rivers with sausage.
DISCLAIMER: Despite the law prohibiting the escape of sausage (a controlled waste) from sewers, for whatever reason, Yorkshire Water is keen to impress upon you that it is always someone else’s fault. Its Chief Executive and its Directors are paid hundreds of thousands of pounds (one or two in excess of a £ million) and they intend to keep it that way. Why would Yorkshire Water squander shareholder cash when it can successfully brainwash (almost) everyone in Ryedale and North Yorkshire into thinking that its sewer flooding is not its responsibility? Coordinates: 54°08′20″N 0°47′24″W / 54.139°N 0.79°W / 54.139; -0.79
Ryedale is a non-metropolitan district of the shire county of North Yorkshire in England. Settlements include Helmsley, Kirkbymoorside, Malton, Norton-on-Derwent, Pickering, and Terrington. Part of Ryedale lies within the North York Moors National Park.
Derivation of name
The name refers to the River Rye and was previously used for the Ryedale wapentake of Yorkshire, that covered roughly the same area. The current district was formed on 1 April 1974, under the Local Government Act 1972, and was a merger of urban district of Norton and Norton Rural District, from the historic East Riding of Yorkshire, along with the urban districts of Malton and Pickering with Flaxton Rural District, Helmsley Rural District, Kirkbymoorside Rural District, Malton Rural District and Pickering Rural District, all from the North Riding of Yorkshire.
York Unitary Authority
The district lost about half its population in 1996, when an expanded City of York became a unitary authority, specifically the parishes of Clifton Without, Earswick, Haxby, Heworth Without, Holtby, Huntington, Murton, New Earswick, Osbaldwick, Rawcliffe, Skelton, Stockton-on-the-Forest, Strensall, Towthorpe, and Wigginton. According to the 2001 census these parishes combined had a population of 50,163, compared to the population of the rump Ryedale district of 50,872.

Yorkshire Water
Yorkshire Water is a water supply and treatment utility company servicing West Yorkshire, South Yorkshire, the East Riding of Yorkshire, part of North Lincolnshire, most of North Yorkshire and part of Derbyshire, in England. The company has its origins in the Yorkshire Water Authority, one of ten regional water authorities created by the Water Act 1973, and privatised under the terms of the Water Act 1989, when Yorkshire Water plc, the parent company of the Yorkshire Water business, was floated on the London Stock Exchange. The parent company was Kelda Group in 1999. In February 2008, Kelda Group was bought by a consortium of infrastructure funds.

I rode across the road to the Ryedale show on Apollo, who was five on 7th May 2017. We did not compete I just wanted him to have the experience of a big show for an hour. He did well but it felt like I was sitting on a volcano.

Tourism chiefs are excited and rumoured to be in talks with the Sausage Fishing fraternity about a Ryedale Sausage Fishing stage at next year's re-named 'Sewer de Yorkshire'. Watch this space for further details.
North Yorkshire County Council has given the thumbs up (or was that down?) to the idea, and consulting engineers Ayup, has been approached to devise ways of ensuring that the Yorkshire Water sewers continue to pollute the streets of Ryedale. Everyone is keen to ensure a bountiful supply of sausage in the River Derwent come this time next year. No expense will be incurred by Yorkshire Water to prevent the sewage from polluting Ryedale's waterways.

DISCLAIMER: Despite the law prohibiting the escape of sausage (a controlled waste) from sewers, for whatever reason, Yorkshire Water is keen to impress upon you that it is always someone else’s fault. Its Chief Executive and its Directors are paid hundreds of thousands of pounds (one or two in excess of a £ million) and they intend to keep it that way. Why would Yorkshire Water squander shareholder cash when it can successfully brainwash (almost) everyone in Ryedale and North Yorkshire into thinking that its sewer flooding is not its responsibility? It is a specialist skill to pull the wool over (nearly) everyone's eyes, nearly all of the time.

Places to see in ( Pickering - UK )
Pickering is an ancient market town and civil parish in the Ryedale district of North Yorkshire, England, on the border of the North York Moors National Park. Historically part of the North Riding of Yorkshire, Pickering sits at the foot of the moors, overlooking the Vale of Pickering to the south. According to legend the town was founded by King Peredurus around 270 BC; however, the town as it exists today is of medieval origin.
The tourist venues of Pickering Parish Church, with its medieval wall paintings, Pickering Castle, the North Yorkshire Moors Railway and Beck Isle Museum have made Pickering popular with visitors. Nearby places include Malton, Norton and Scarborough.
Pickering is situated at the junction of the A170, which links Scarborough with Thirsk, and the A169 linking Malton and Whitby. Located in the northern part of the UK, Pickering has a temperate maritime climate which is dominated by the passage of mid-latitude depressions.
The Beck Isle Museum is housed in a Regency period residence near the centre of town, adjacent to the Pickering Beck, a stream that flows under a four-arched road bridge. Dalby Forest is on the southern slopes of the North York Moors National Park. The southern part of the forest is divided by valleys creating a 'Rigg and Dale' landscape whilst to the north, the forest sits on the upland plateau.
North York Moors National Park Authority works to promote enjoyment and encourage understanding of the area by the public and balance it with conservation. The North Yorkshire Moors Railway is a heritage railway. The 18-mile (29 km) line is the second-longest heritage line in the United Kingdom and runs across the moors from Pickering via Levisham, Newton Dale and Goathland to Grosmont.
Pickering Castle is situated at the edge of the moors. It is a classic, well-preserved example of an early motte and bailey castle refortified in stone during the 13th and 14th centuries, centred upon a shell keep crowning an impressive motte. There is an exhibition in the chapel. Pickering Church has a Saxon foundation, but the earliest phases of the present building date to the 12th and 13th centuries, with substantial additions in the 14th and 15th. Saint Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, on Potter Hill, was designed by the architect Leonard Stokes in 1911.
