Cornwall (/ˈkɔːrnwɔːl/ or /ˈkɔːrnwəl/;Cornish: Kernow, [ˈkɛɹnɔʊ]) is a county in England.
Cornwall is a peninsula bordered to the north and west by the Celtic Sea, to the south by the English Channel, and to the east by the county of Devon, over the River Tamar. Cornwall has a population of 536,000 and covers an area of 3,563 km2 (1,376 sq mi). The administrative centre, and only city in Cornwall, is Truro, although the town of Falmouth has the largest population for a civil parish and the conurbation of Camborne, Pool and Redruth has the highest total population.
Cornwall forms the westernmost part of the south-west peninsula of the island of Great Britain, and a large part of the Cornubian batholith is within Cornwall. This area was first inhabited in the Palaeolithic and Mesolithic periods. It continued to be occupied by Neolithic and then Bronze Age peoples, and later (in the Iron Age) by Brythons with distinctive cultural relations to neighbouring Wales and Brittany. There is little evidence that Roman rule was effective west of Exeter and few Roman remains have been found. Cornwall was the home of a division of the Dumnonii tribe – whose tribal centre was in the modern county of Devon – known as the Cornovii, separated from the Brythons of Wales after the Battle of Deorham, often coming into conflict with the expanding English kingdom of Wessex before King Athelstan in AD 936 set the boundary between English and Cornish at the high water mark of the eastern bank of the River Tamar. From the early Middle Ages, British language and culture was apparently shared by Brythons trading across both sides of the Channel, evidenced by the corresponding high medieval Breton kingdoms of Domnonée and Cornouaille and the Celtic Christianity common to both territories.
Children from primary schools across Cornwall put across their point that letting your dog foul and not cleaning up after it is not acceptable to them, their friends or their families. The children have made their views clear in this short film which is being used as part of a Cornwall Council campaign which spells out that dog fouling is anti social and to ask dog owners to be responsible and think about the impact their lack of action and lack of consideration has on the wider community. The children aged 4 to 11 from Treverbyn Academy in St Austell, The Bishops CE Primary School in Newquay and St Breock Primary School Wadebridge explain in the film, as only children can, their experiences and what they think about those who let their dog foul and not clean up after it.

Lying westwards beyond the River Tamar border with its nearest neighbour Devon, Cornwall is one of the more isolated and distinct parts of the United Kingdom but is one of the most popular with travellers and holiday-makers. Its relatively warm climate, long coastline, amazing scenery, and diverse Celtic heritage (combined with tales of smuggling and pirates!) go only part of the way to explaining its appeal....
From the windswept Coastwatch station at Rame Head to the tranquil scenery of the Helford River, the South coast of Cornwall is full of contrasts and plenty of surprises. Like a thick green carpet slung across the land, the hills roll down to the shore where the sea is framed by whitewashed fishing villages and exotic gardens. The sheltered estuaries are ideal for messing about in boats and inland you'll find pretty villages and market towns. You'll find: historic ports and harbours, sandy bays, market towns, sandy beaches, lush gardens, peaceful rivers, Lost Gardens of Heligan, the Eden Project. Auckland Cornwall Park, New Zealand This is a short version for our Autumn visiting in Auckland Cornwall Park. One Trill Hill Park is a popular tourism attraction in Auckland and is located in the central Auckland, and only 15 minutes driving from Auckland downtown. One Tree Hill is Auckland’s largest and intact volcanic cone excluding Rangitoto and you get extensive city views from the summit. Came home from work to find Cornwall council have spilt some Tarmac outside my house! This Tarmac has not been compacted, the edges of the existing surface have not been cut so the new Tarmac has nothing to bind to, meaning it will not stay in place for long. Basically a very poor job and yet another waste of tax payers money!
This is one of a few videos I have managed to capture over many years, decades of abuse I have had to suffer the mental anguish of since being left, abandoned by multi-agency engagement in my recovery from historic child abuse against myself. On this occasion I did what had been asked of me to call the police, the police turned up , I showed them the video, one officer went to have a word with him, on returning the officer hadn't even retrieved the baseball bat from the offender, in fact they did not take the baseball bat from the offender until about two hours later, allowing the offender to walk around freely, whilst they went to deal with another incident that was happening close by. Subsequently the police said they wanted to deal with the incident by way of a restorative justice ord...
