The following video features various news and talent opens from KSWB-TV in San Diego from 1999 to present. This covers both in-house news operations as well as the KNSD-produced newscast that ran on the station for about four years before it switched to Fox in August 2008 (only the CW-era intro of that is shown here, I was unable to find the version used during KSWB's final year as a WB affiliate after its first news department was shut down and production of the 10 p.m. show was turned over to KNSD). This is the shortest video in my collection, BTW. Here's what you can see in this video: (0:05) "WB News at Ten" intro (1999-2005) (0:12) "WB News at Ten" weeknight talent bump (1999-2005) (0:28) "CW News at Ten" intro, during period when the 10 p.m. newscast was produced by NBC station KNSD...
Weeknight newscast from the then-WB (later CW, now Fox) affiliate in San Diego. Some commercials were edited. The first few seconds of the recording were clipped. This newscast production ran from 1999 to 2005, when it was shut down and replaced with a 10pm newscast produced by local NBC O&O; KNSD. That production ceased in 2008 when KSWB became a Fox affiliate and relaunched an in-house news department. More details on the history of KSWB can be found at the KSWB Wikipedia page.
