On Feb 5,2009 I stayed in room #418 at The Stanley Hotel in Estes Park, CO and my life changed forever. When I was sleeping at the hotel I had a very realistic dream of a child running in the hallway. When I suddenly wake up in the video it's b/c I was frieghtened by dreaming that the child slammed the door open. In the vid you can clearly hear the loud noises. Freaky!
I have the full video shot on another youtube vid. This was not faked or staged in any way. I chose to stay in this hotel b/c I didn't believe in ghosts.
There were no guests staying on my side of the hotel and room#418 is the top floor.
Honest to God this footage is 100% real.

I stayed in room 418 at The Stanley Hotel on 2/5/9. I recorded this activity with a Sony nightvision camera between 1-4 AM while I was sleeping. There was nobody else staying on my wing. The 4th floor suppsedly has the most reported paranormal activity, especially room 418. Earlier in the day the clock radio tried to come on about 6 times before I went to eat at the dining hall.

This video takes you on a tour of Room 418 in Mercure Hotel Pattaya, Thailand.
I shot this video on July 15, 2013 towards the end of my stay at the hotel.
I chose to stay at this hotel, purely based on the fact that this was an Accor Group property - a hotel chain with famed names like Pullman, Novotel, Ibis, Sofitel among others, wherein my experience had been consistently very positive - alas, only till this point.
Yes, bad move, as my experience was by far the WORST I have ever had with any of the hotel chain properties. And one of the biggest reasons by far for that was the really bad location of the property - down Soi 15, a long walk from the main road and certainly far from the beach or from Walking Street. Somehow, although I had looked up the Pattaya map as well prior to booking, where Mercure Hotel Pattaya seemed fairly close to Walking Street, that really wasn't quite the case.
Adding insult to injury, provisions or amenities inside the room as well as the room layout itself, was really basic; nothing fancy at all. At least as an Accor property, I was expecting more.
So the lessons learnt were, one, not to go by hotel chain reputation alone, and two, look up online reviews (which I didn't quite bother to read although I otherwise do) to gather insights about location, instead of relying on deceptive maps alone.

Stayed 5 nights at this location. Staff at check in was good treated with a smile and recognized for status. Checkout was smooth also with the exception that they didn't slide paper under the door. When I asked they explained a person on crushes worked the night before which was the reason. Hmmm... Ok well then what would that person do if there was an emergency? Just a thought. Staff allowed us use of a meeting room for a few hours since not in use, which always helps our business out. There is no bistro at this location but they do have a full service breakfast, market and bar for additional convenience. Walk 10 minutes east or west direction and you will get to all the chain restaurants. Housekeeping did ok, I saw hairs that were not mine on the bathroom floor, tile and inside the sink. Location of this hotel is also a plus. About a half mile west is river road. Which I took advantage of and ran to and from for 3 of the days. The hotel is also far enough from traffic which made for some great nights sleep and quiet evenings. Pool and jacuzzi are outdoors and not heated. Great exercise room and meeting rooms. The wifi is terrible in the evenings and not "wired for business" like other courtyards when the hotel is full as it was when I was there. I even had to call the helpline once to get online. Be prepared for that... I just woke up earlier and had no problems. I would stay here again. Thanks for reading.

Stayed 3 nights at this location. A little off the subject, but the last few hotels i have been in have not had any perks for rewards members. no water, mints or whatever. just a thought. Simply put another Marriott hotel with the same amenities you expect from this chain including the free breakfast. My work schedule didn't allow the use of the breakfast hours, so I can't comment on that. The beds were a little hard for me. Next time I will check the beds out before I unpack, and possibly request another room if available. Furniture is a little older, but the hotel for its age is kept up well. I checked out the jacuzzi and it was in great shape along with the treadmills in the exercise room. It is conveniently located next to the mall with plenty of shopping and restaurants to eat at. Service was great and friendly staff. This is my least favorite of the Marriott hotel chains for me personally, due to it's "Pet Friendly" policy. The policy doesn't always agree with my allergies. But i do enjoy the free popcorn in the rooms! ;) lastly, for those using debit cards, i noted Marriott has a new policy in effect (at least this hotel did) so you might want to call ahead for details. I would recommend.

Optamos por uma cabine de primeira classe só com duas camas com direito a café da manhã antes da chegada por uma questão de conforto e privacidade. A compra das passagens pode ser feita diretamente pelo site da DB Bahn (empresa de trens alemã) ou pelo site da Rail Europe.

HAUNTING AT STANLEY HOTEL(100% Real) Room 418
On Feb 5,2009 I stayed in room #418 at The Stanley Hotel in Estes Park, CO and my life changed forever. When I was sleeping at the hotel I had a very realistic dream of a child running in the hallway. When I suddenly wake up in the video it's b/c I was frieghtened by dreaming that the child slammed the door open. In the vid you can clearly hear the loud noises. Freaky! I have the full video shot on another youtube vid. This was not faked or staged in any way. I chose to stay in this hotel b/c I didn't believe in ghosts. There were no guests staying on my side of the hotel and room#418 is the top floor. Honest to God this footage is 100% real. -

I chose to stay at this hotel, purely based on the fact that this was an Accor Group property - a hotel chain with famed names like Pullman, Novotel, Ibis, Sofitel among others, wherein my experience had been consistently very positive - alas, only till this point. Yes, bad move, as my experience was by far the WORST I have ever had with any of the hotel chain properties. And one of the biggest reasons by far for that was the really bad location of the property - down Soi 15, a long walk from the main road and certainly far from the beach or from Walking Street. Inside Hotel Room 418 Courtyard by Marriott Jacksonville Orange Park Florida
Stayed 5 nights at this location. Staff at check in was good treated with a smile and recognized for status. Checkout was smooth also with the exception that they didn't slide paper under the door. When I asked they explained a person on crushes worked the night before which was the reason. Hmmm... Ok well then what would that person do if there was an emergency? Just a thought. Staff allowed us use of a meeting room for a few hours since not in use, which always helps our business out. There is no bistro at this location but they do have a full service breakfast, market and bar for additional convenience. Walk 10 minutes east or west direction and you will get to all the chain restaurants. Housekeeping did ok, I saw hairs that were not mine on the bathroom floor, tile and inside the sink.... -

Inside a Residence Inn Room Number 418 in Fredericksburg Virginia
Stayed 3 nights at this location. A little off the subject, but the last few hotels i have been in have not had any perks for rewards members. no water, mints or whatever. just a thought. Simply put another Marriott hotel with the same amenities you expect from this chain including the free breakfast. My work schedule didn't allow the use of the breakfast hours, so I can't comment on that. The beds were a little hard for me. Next time I will check the beds out before I unpack, and possibly request another room if available. Furniture is a little older, but the hotel for its age is kept up well. I checked out the jacuzzi and it was in great shape along with the treadmills in the exercise room. It is conveniently located next to the mall with plenty of shopping and restaurants to eat at. I chose to stay at this hotel, purely based on the fact that this was an Accor Group property - a hotel chain with famed names like Pullman, Novotel, Ibis, Sofitel among others, wherein my experience had been consistently very positive - alas, only till this point.
Yes, bad move, as my experience was by far the WORST I have ever had with any of the hotel chain properties. And one of the biggest reasons by far for that was the really bad location of the property - down Soi 15, a long walk from the main road and certainly far from the beach or from Walking Street. Somehow, although I had looked up the Pattaya map as well prior to booking, where Mercure Hotel Pattaya seemed fairly close to Walking Street, that really wasn't quite the case.
Adding insult to injury, provisions or amenities inside the room as well as the room layout itself, was really basic; nothing fancy at all. At least as an Accor property, I was expecting more.
So the lessons learnt were, one, not to go by hotel chain reputation alone, and two, look up online reviews (which I didn't quite bother to read although I otherwise do) to gather insights about location, instead of relying on deceptive maps alone.

Location of this hotel is also a plus. About a half mile west is river road. Which I took advantage of and ran to and from for 3 of the days. The hotel is also far enough from traffic which made for some great nights sleep and quiet evenings. Pool and jacuzzi are outdoors and not heated. Great exercise room and meeting rooms. The wifi is terrible in the evenings and not "wired for business" like other courtyards when the hotel is full as it was when I was there. I even had to call the helpline once to get online. Be prepared for that... I just woke up earlier and had no problems. I would stay here again. Thanks for reading.

I would recommend.
