SWAT teams and the bomb squad were working to clear the buildings where the shootings took place. Reports indicate the three suspects are believed to have escaped in a black SUV.
San Bernardino police are currently pursuing a suspect reportedly shooting at the Waterman Discount Mall. The suspect fled to the Waterman Gardens according to police scanner traffic.
Police are on the scene. The mall was evacuated.
According to police radio traffic, one possible suspect has been identified as Farooq Saeed. This is an unconfirmed report and comes from police radio chatter in regards to the shooting.
Law enforcement source tells CNN that they believe they are looking for three suspects armed with AK-47 style rifles.

SWAT vehicles pin black SUV in San Bernardino amid manhunt for mass shooting gunmen. 14 dead in San Bernardino shooting; police have shot suspect connected to chase of black SUV. As many as three assailants attacked a gathering inside a San Bernardino office building Wednesday morning, killing at least 14 people and wounding 17 others, according to law enforcement officials.
The shooters, who carried long guns and wore masks and camouflage clothing, opened fire on a holiday party being held by county employees, federal law enforcement sources and a witness told the Los Angeles Times.
The shooting took place in a large conference room on the grounds of the Inland Regional Center, which serves people with developmental disabilities in Riverside and San Bernardino counties.
A black sport-utility vehicle was seen fleeing from the office complex where the shooting occurred. Shortly before 3 p.m., police began pursuing a black sport-utility vehicle in San Bernardino, though it was not immediately clear if the car chase was linked to the attack.
Authorities confirmed that a suspect had been shot in connection with the car chase but it remained unclear if the pursuit was linked to the attack.
TV footage showed dozens of heavily armed police officers approaching the SUV, and officers in tactical gear could be seen stalking through a San Bernardino neighborhood.
Marybeth Feild, the center’s board president and CEO, said the San Bernardino County Public Health Department rented the conference room and they were hosting a banquet.
The room, which holds as many as 200 people, was decorated for a holiday party, according to Feild.
The motive for the attack remains unclear.
"Is this a terrorist incident? We do not know," said David Bowdich, the assistant director of the FBI's Los Angeles field office. The San Bernardino Fire Department said the shooting took place in the 1300 block of Waterman Avenue, near Orange Show Road.
Hundreds of people were on the grounds at the time of the attack, Burguan said.

Police, FBI and ATF agents responded to reports of a mass shooting at a social services center in San Bernardino, Calif., Wednesday afternoon. Sources tell Eyewitness News that up to 12 people were killed. The shooting took place at the Inland Regional Center, a nonprofit that works with individuals with developmental disabilities, at 1365 S. Waterman Avenue. The complex is comprised of three buildings. Investigators were searching the building and have yet to clear it. Police said there were reports of one to three shooters involved, and they were described to be wearing ski masks. According to law enforcement sources, the three suspects who perpetrated a mass shooting in California have been found.
Police added that the suspected gunmen fled the Inland Regional Center shortly after the 11 a.m. shooting in a black SUV.
So far at least 14 people have died with 17 more wounded; ten of whom are in critical condition.
Almost five hours later, a high-speed police pursuit of three individuals in a dark truck led to a bloody conclusion.
Law enforcement sources indicated that two suspects are now in custody though a third has been killed.
During the pursuit one of the suspects allegedly exited the vehicle, while the others continued.
SWAT vans surrounded the black SUV which led to a short engagement.
One of the suspects was wounded in the chest, while the other was shot and killed.

Sean Justin Penn (born August 17, 1960) is an American actor, screenwriter and film director, also known for his left-wing political and social activism (including humanitarian work). He is a two-time Academy Award winner for his roles in Mystic River (2003) and Milk (2008), as well as the recipient of a Golden Globe Award for the former and a Screen Actors Guild Award for the latter.
Penn began his acting career in television with a brief appearance in a 1974 episode of Little House on the Prairie, directed by his father Leo Penn. Following his film debut in 1981's Taps and a diverse range of film roles in the 1980s, Penn emerged as a prominent leading actor with the 1995 drama film Dead Man Walking, for which he earned his first Academy Award nomination and the Best Actor Award at the Berlin Film Festival. Penn received another two Oscar nominations for Sweet and Lowdown (1999) and I Am Sam (2001), before winning his first Academy Award for Best Actor in 2003 for Mystic River and a second one in 2008 for Milk. Javier Ángel Encinas Bardem (Spanish pronunciation: [xaˈβjer βarˈðen]; born 1 March 1969) is a Spanish actor. In 2007 he won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role as sociopathic assassin Anton Chigurh in No Country for Old Men, and has also garnered critical acclaim for roles in films such as Jamón, jamón, Carne trémula, Boca a boca, Los Lunes al sol and Mar adentro.
As well as the Academy Award, Bardem has been awarded a Golden Globe, a Screen Actors Guild Award, a BAFTA, five Goya awards, two European Film Awards, a Prize for Best Actor at Cannes and two Coppa Volpis at Venice for his work. He is the first Spaniard to be nominated for an Oscar (Best Actor, 2000, for Before Night Falls, lost to Russell Crowe for Gladiator), as well as the first Spanish actor to win an Academy Award. He received his third Academy Award nomination, and second Best Actor nomination, for the film Biutiful.
Bardem was born in Las Palmas in the Canary Islands (Spain). His mother, Pilar Bardem, is an actress, and his father, José Carlos Encinas Doussinague, was a businessman who was involved in environmental work; the two separated shortly after his birth. His mother raised him alone. Bardem comes from a long line of filmmakers and actors who have been working since the earliest days of Spanish cinema; he is the grandson of actors Rafael Bardem and Matilde Muñoz Sampedro, and the nephew of screenwriter and director Juan Antonio Bardem. Both his older brother and sister, Carlos and Mónica, are actors. Bardem was raised Roman Catholic by his grandmother. He also comes from a very political background, his uncle Juan Antonio was imprisoned by Franco for his anti-fascist films.

SWAT teams and the bomb squad were working to clear the buildings where the shootings took place. Reports indicate the three suspects are believed to have escaped in a black SUV.
San Bernardino police are currently pursuing a suspect reportedly shooting at the Waterman Discount Mall. The suspect fled to the Waterman Gardens according to police scanner traffic.
Police are on the scene. The mall was evacuated.
According to police radio traffic, one possible suspect has been identified as Farooq Saeed. This is an unconfirmed report and comes from police radio chatter in regards to the shooting.
Law enforcement source tells CNN that they believe they are looking for three suspects armed with AK-47 style rifles.

SWAT vehicles pin black SUV in San Bernardino amid manhunt for mass shooting gunmen. 14 dead in San Bernardino shooting; police have shot suspect connected to chase of black SUV. As many as three assailants attacked a gathering inside a San Bernardino office building Wednesday morning, killing at least 14 people and wounding 17 others, according to law enforcement officials.
The shooters, who carried long guns and wore masks and camouflage clothing, opened fire on a holiday party being held by county employees, federal law enforcement sources and a witness told the Los Angeles Times.
The shooting took place in a large conference room on the grounds of the Inland Regional Center, which serves people with developmental disabilities in Riverside and San Bernardino counties.
A black sport-utility vehicle was seen fleeing from the office complex where the shooting occurred. Shortly before 3 p.m., police began pursuing a black sport-utility vehicle in San Bernardino, though it was not immediately clear if the car chase was linked to the attack.
Authorities confirmed that a suspect had been shot in connection with the car chase but it remained unclear if the pursuit was linked to the attack.
TV footage showed dozens of heavily armed police officers approaching the SUV, and officers in tactical gear could be seen stalking through a San Bernardino neighborhood.
Marybeth Feild, the center’s board president and CEO, said the San Bernardino County Public Health Department rented the conference room and they were hosting a banquet.
The room, which holds as many as 200 people, was decorated for a holiday party, according to Feild.
The motive for the attack remains unclear.
"Is this a terrorist incident? We do not know," said David Bowdich, the assistant director of the FBI's Los Angeles field office. The San Bernardino Fire Department said the shooting took place in the 1300 block of Waterman Avenue, near Orange Show Road.
Hundreds of people were on the grounds at the time of the attack, Burguan said.

According to law enforcement sources, the three suspects who perpetrated a mass shooting in California have been found.
Police added that the suspected gunmen fled the Inland Regional Center shortly after the 11 a.m. shooting in a black SUV.
So far at least 14 people have died with 17 more wounded; ten of whom are in critical condition.
Almost five hours later, a high-speed police pursuit of three individuals in a dark truck led to a bloody conclusion.
Law enforcement sources indicated that two suspects are now in custody though a third has been killed.

Preliminary reports indicate at least 17 to 20 people sustained injuries during the shooting. In addition to the wounded, officials confirm 14 people were killed during the assault.
The latest reports reveal police have managed to take down two attackers in a shootout — a man and a woman. Police say a third suspect seen running away from the gun battle has now been detained.
