Here i read the two last chapters of Håkonarmål.
Hákonarmál is a skaldic poem from 960/70 AD which the skald(bard) Eyvindr skáldaspillir composed about the fall of the Norwegian king Hákon Haraldsson 'the Good' at the battle of Fitjar and his reception in Valhalla.
Eyvindr served as a hirdskald in the king Håkons retinue.
The poem is preserved in its entirety and is widely considered to be of great beauty.
The entire kvad has 21 chapers, it starts with the valkyries Gandul and Skogul arriving at the battlefield at Stord in west-Norway, where King Håkon is fighting the sons of Eirik Bloodaxe(who was Håkons half-brother), it tells how he wins the battle but is mortally wounded.
The king asks the valkyries why he was given this fate. The valkyries replies that they gave him victory and he will now go with them and meet Odin.
The next chapter tells of the god Tyr in Åsgård, commanding the gods Hermod and Bragi to go and welcome King Håkon as he arrives to the hall. He is then welcomed by them, the einherjers and then the other norse gods. The peom ends with the last two chapters about what a great king he was.

Wear headphones / ear buds for binaural effect.
In this ASMR video, Jake the Viking Whisperer reads the Old Norse tale of the final epic battle of the gods, including Odin, Thor, Loki and others. During the battle, Odin fights the monsterous wolf Fenrir and Thor battles the Midgard world serpent, Jormungandr. The tale ends with the rebirth of the planet earth, which is why the tale is alternatively known as "The New Day".
This story is taken from the 1962 Collier's Children's Classics, volume 7, Legends of Long Ago.
* Some think that these old myths are simply tall tales made up from the imagination. But there is a great amount of archaelogical, geological and literary evidences around the world to support these myths - especially the story of the fall of the gods and the rebirth of the planet. If you are interested in this subject, I highly recommend the work of the renowned Immanuel Velikovsky who wrote many books, including Worlds in the Collision. This is the book that was found open on the desk of Velikovsky's close friend, Albert Einstein, on the day he died. Velikovsky's work demonstrates that the close passage of the proto-planet Venus to Earth caused many of the global disasters recorded in old myths and Bible stories. I love Velikovsky's works; he separates fact from fiction and helps the reader make sense of just what happened that led to the creation of these mythological tales.

Someone from Iceland would do this alot better than me, but since it was requested: How to pronunce the names of Viking Forefather units in Old Norse and modern Norwegian.
Note, in the Roma Iron Age Scandinavians would be speaking Proto-Norse and not Old-Norse since that came later, but since the units in Attila are mainly Old Norse/Viking Age in origin and not Proto-Norse I'm sticking with that.
