As his fortunes plummet and the President increases pressure to invade Iraq, Lincoln naively decides to draw on his past experience in the Special Ops Forces, and travel to Iraq to rid the world of Saddam Hussein himself - and thus avert a disastrous war. Through a series of misadventures, he manages to dispose of Saddam, but that's when things get weird. Lincoln returns to the United States and is personally invited to Camp David by President George W. Bush, himself. But during a weenie roast at a Camp David campsite, George W. reveals a terrible international secret to Lincoln, something that causes him to fight for his life!

Walter Sobchak: I'm saying, I see what you're getting at, Dude, he kept the money. My point is, here we are, it's shabbas, the sabbath, which I'm allowed to break only if it's a matter of life or death...::The Dude: Will you come off it, Walter? You're not even fucking Jewish, man.::Walter Sobchak: What the fuck are you talkin' about?::The Dude: Man, you're fucking Polish Catholic...::Walter Sobchak: What the fuck are you talking about? I converted when I married Cynthia! Come on, Dude!::The Dude: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah...::Walter Sobchak: And you know this!::The Dude: Yeah, and five fucking years ago you were divorced.::Walter Sobchak: So what are you saying? The best speech ever in court? Some say, yes!

[To the judge:] Give me a chance... give me a chance... Give me a chance, don't cut me off. I'm not defending myself, I'm defending you. He gets to bring his files in, while Saddam Hussein must write on his hand what he wants to remember to say to the judges.
"Your honor, I want you to be like lances and swords confronting the enemies."

"I am not here to defend Saddam Hussein. As I've said before, Saddam Hussein is too great to be defended by Saddam Hussein himself."

"No, please. I am not a student in your school. Don't make me speak in a way that none of us want. He interrupted me and went on talking. You didn't silence him. He asked a question, and my answer is: 'Yes, I was beaten all over my body, and I bear the marks to this day. Yes, we were beaten. We were beaten by the Americans. We were tortured, each and every one of us. When that man gets up, he has to lean on the wall so he doesn't fall. He received rifle blows to the neck, until they crippled him. That one was crippled. Barzan was crippled. Abu Nadia â€" they even took the bones out of his legs.'"
"Saddam Hussein â€" in the American democracy that has been put to shame here, in great Iraq â€" was not allowed to wear his watch. This is not my watch. The watch I had they stole. One of my daughters, whom they exiled, gave her father a watch as a present. That is the watch they prevented Saddam Hussein from wearing. I'm only saying this so you can make the comparison. They tore the robes I was wearing all the way down. This way, they believe, they are hurting Saddam Hussein, diminishing his personality. But Saddam Hussein's personality is not measured by his clothes. This is a mark of shame on them, but it only makes Saddam Hussein greater, not smaller...."
Barzan Tikriti [His brother, I believe]: "Your honor, those lowlifes are laughing and cursing."
Saddam Hussein: "In any case... Barzan, let those monkeys laugh. A lion doesn't care if a monkey in a tree is laughing at him. Take it easy. Look at me, I don't care about this nonsense

Iraqi President Saddam Hussein, who is holding a referendum on his
presidency on Sunday (15/10) has ruled Iraq for 17 years. The
58-year-old Saddam joined the Iraqi Ba'th Party in 1957, and two
years later, fled to Cairo as a poltical refugee after
participating in an attempt to assassinate President Abdul Karim
Qasim. He returned to Iraq in 1963 when the Iraqi Ba'th Party came
to power. The Ba'th Party was ousted by the Nasserites, and Saddam
was arrested in 1964 after participating in a failed coup attempt
against President Abdul Salam Aref. The Ba'th Party regained power
in 1968, and Saddam took charge of a secret security apparatus. He
eventually joined the Revolutionary Command Council, which was
Iraq's highest governing body, gradually becoming the second man
after President Ahmad Hassan el-Bakr, to whom he was related. In
the late 1970's el-Bakr became a nominal president as Saddam
became the real ruler. In July 1979, el-Bakr handed over the
presidency and party leadership to Saddam Hussein. Saddam
consolidated his grip on power by brutal repression of any real or
perceived opposition and by strengthening tribal and family
influence at the expense of the Ba'th party. In 1980, the Iraqi
army attacked Iran, and an eight-year war with Iran ensued in
which some one million Iraqis and Iranians were killed. In August
1990, Saddam Hussein's army invaded Kuwait, and a military
confrontation with the western alliance ensued in January 1991.
leading to the defeat of Iraq. Saddam has clung onto power despite
his army's defeat in the Gulf War and the international sanctions
which are still in effect against Iraq. Although no other
candidates are running against Saddam, Sunday's referendum is seen
by many observers as an attempt by the Iraqi leader to transcend
his narrow power base and show that he has wider popular support

What was life really like in Saddam’s Iraq? This week’s offering is the definitive documentary on the cult of Saddam Hussein. Filmed just before the first Gulf war, it depicts a prosperous and sophisticated society in which every aspect of life is coloured by ‘love’ for the ‘Great Leader’. Darkly ironic, this film captures the surreal and Orwellian nature of life under Saddam Hussein. In a country which today has lost even its most basic services, the testimony of this vanquished middle-class and the prosperity of their society resonates on many levels.

Historic Interview by British Politician Tony Benn with Saddam Hussein. In an attempt to avert the upcomming War Tony Benn asks the questions raised by the UK and the USA. Saddams answers to the questions are VERY intriguing and it is no surpise that this interview was all but buried as the rush to war gathered Momentum.
Tony Benn's attempt to avert the War ultimately failed as was to become clear that the desire for War was inevitable. The day after this interview Colin Powell went to the UN and lied through his teeth but convinced the World of the need for War. Powell now says his speech was a BLOT on his reputation!
