Zooming in on the Newly Discovered Globular Star Cluster VVV CL001
This sequence starts with a wide-field view of the spectacular central parts of the southern Milky Way. As we zoom in we can see many famous objects, including the Lagoon Nebula. In the final sequence we dive deep into the dusty regions and reveal two almost hidden globular clusters, UKS 1 and the newly discovered VVV CL001 in a new image from the VISTA telescope at ESO’s Paranal Observatory in Ch

Massive Galaxies Discovered in the Early Universe
ESO’s VISTA survey telescope has spied a horde of previously hidden massive galaxies that existed when the Universe was in its infancy. By discovering and studying more of these galaxies than ever before, astronomers have for the first time found out exactly when such monster galaxies first appeared. The newly discovered massive galaxies are marked on this image of the UltraVISTA field.

The First Image of an Exoplanet Confirmed
Release date: 30 April 2005. An international team of astronomers reports today confirmation of the discovery of a giant planet, approximately five times the mass of Jupiter, that is gravitationally bound to a young brown dwarf. This puts an end to a year long discussion on the nature of this object, which started with the detection of a red object close to the brown dwarf. In February and March o

Two newly discovered globular clusters have been added to the total of just 158 known globular clusters in our Milky Way. They were found in new images from ESO’s VISTA survey telescope as part of the Via Lactea (VVV) survey. This survey has also turned up the first star cluster that is far beyond the centre of the Milky Way and whose light has had to travel right through the dust and gas in the heart of our galaxy to get to us.

For decades these a small group of people in the academia has been parroting
that there is no such thing as Planet X, and that the planet Nibiru is just a hoax.
BUT IS IT?
Could this small group of mainstream scientists
be misleading us on purpose?
Welcome to Cosmofoibia, this site is dedicated to bring and end to the Truth Embargo, which the government has, hide from you for decades.
Thank you for your support,
Sergio Correa

This sequence starts with a wide-field view of the spectacular central parts of the southern Milky Way. As we zoom in we can see many famous objects, including the Lagoon Nebula. In the final sequence we dive deep into the dusty regions and reveal two almost hidden globular clusters, UKS 1 and the newly discovered VVV CL001 in a new image from the VISTA telescope at ESO’s Paranal Observatory in Chile.
About the Object
Name: VVV CL001, VVV CL002, VVV CL003, VVV Survey
Type: • Milky Way : Star : Grouping : Cluster : Globular
Facility: Visible and Infrared Survey Telescope for Astronomy

Two newly discovered globular clusters have been added to the total of just 158 known globular clusters in our Milky Way. They were found in new images from ESO’s VISTA survey telescope as part of the Via Lactea (VVV) survey. This survey has also turned up the first star cluster that is far beyond the centre of the Milky Way and whose light has had to travel right through the dust and gas in the heart of our galaxy to get to us.

In February and March of this year [2005], the astronomers took new images of the young brown dwarf and its giant planet companion with the state-of-the-art NACO instrument on ESO's Very Large Telescope in northern Chile. The planet is near the southern constellation of Hydra and approximately 200 light years from Earth.
ESO Press Video eso0515 is a small montage providing excerpts of an interview with Dr. Gael Chauvin (ESO), leader of the team of astronomers who took the image of the 2M1207 system, as well as a computer animation of what the system might look like.

This zoom sequence starts with a broad panorama of the southern night sky and closes in on the Tarantula star-forming region in the Large Magellanic Cloud. Among the many hot young stars here lies VFTS 352 — the hottest and most massive double star system to date where the two components are in contact and sharing material. The final frames show a close-up of the region of this exotic object, in an image created from images from the Wide Field Imager at the MPG/ESO 2.2-metre telescope at La Silla.

http://www.eso.org/public/news/eso1540/
Using ESO’s Very Large Telescope, an international team of astronomers have found the hottest and most massive double star with components so close that they touch each other. The two stars in the extreme system VFTS 352 could be heading for a dramatic end, during which the two stars either coalesce to create a single giant star, or form a binary black hole.

This animated artist’s impression shows VFTS 352 — the hottest and most massive double star system to date where the two components are in contact and sharing material. The two stars in this extreme system lie about 160 000 light-years from Earth in the Large Magellanic Cloud. This intriguing pair could be heading for a dramatic end, either with the creation of a single monster star or the formation of a binary black hole.
