It depicts black men working in a field, walking in chains, sitting behind bars, and being executed in an electric chair. In most scenes, a white authority figure is seen whipping or guarding the men. The last image of the film is Vladimir Lenin's last name. The soundtrack of the film is the traditional Negro spiritual entitled "Sometimes I Feel like a Motherless Child".[1]

Description of the film "The Little Humpbacked Horse"
Animated film "The Little Humpbacked Horse" filmed at the studio "Soyuzmultfilm" in 1977. This was not the first film adaptation of the tale of Pyotr Yershov, carried out in the USSR. Directed by Boris Butakov and Ivan Ivanov-Vano showed their reading of this tale, which can be compared to the folk tales, so well written Ershov Russian storyteller. "The Little Humpbacked Horse" belongs to the golden fund of Soviet animation, which houses the best cartoons created over the years. This is a film about loyalty and betrayal, treachery and love, a sense of duty and patriotism. Beautiful painted picture, bright colors, high-quality sound, all this does not give the cartoon old.
The plot of the film "The Little Humpbacked Horse": the old man had three sons. Two older, and smarter, but the youngest, Ivan, and does a fool. When wheat fields began to pour, someone has to tread it. Older brothers were lying in wait, so much so one never caught. But Ivan went at night in the field and caught a mare. After some time, the mare gave birth to three foals, two handsome men, and the third smallest - Gorbunok. When she dies, punished Ivan not to part with Ridgeback. Brothers parted in different directions, and Ivan got a royal stables, groom. He could fulfill any desire of the king, because there is always been faithful Humpbacked Horse ...

“In einem Dorf lebte ein Alter mit seinen drei Söhnen – der Älteste war ein Maulheld, der Mittlere ein Tunichtgut und Iwan, der Jüngste, ein Pechvogel…” Eines Tages gehen die Brüder aufs Feld, aber etwas Furchtbares war geschehen. Ein Fremder hatte das Feld verwüstet und so weit man sehen konnte den Weizen zerstört. Eines Nachts, während Iwan das Feld bewacht, erscheint ihm plötzlich der Übeltäter – es ist ein himmlischer Schimmel. Er verspricht Iwan zwei wunderschöne, heißblütige Pferde, falls dieser ihn verschone. Zusätzlich erhalte er noch ein Zauberpferd: ‘Klein ist es, den anderen nicht an Schönheit gleich, zwei Höcker hat es und lange Ohren, doch sein Fell ist seidenweich.’ Das Pferd rät: ‘Behüt es gut und gib es nie fort, denn es ist mehr als Gold und Silber wert.’ Gesagt, getan! Auf dem Marktplatz erregt Iwan mit seinen Pferden die Aufmerksamkeit des Zaren, der die Rappen samt Iwan augenblicklich in seinen Dienst nimmt. Iwan wird erster Stallmeister, was wiederum den Neid des alten Stallmeisters weckt. Dieser versucht nun seinerseits, Iwan ins Verderben zu stürzen. Dieser Trickfilmklassiker, nach einem berühmten Kunstmärchen von 1834, zählt zu den beliebtesten Märchenverfilmungen. Durch die hervorragende Arbeit der Trickzeichner entstanden phantasievolle Illustrationen mit humorvollen Figuren, die zweifelsohne mit den Produktionen der Animationsstudios von Disney mithalten können.

Description of the film "The Little Humpbacked Horse"
Animated film "The Little Humpbacked Horse" filmed at the studio "Soyuzmultfilm" in 1977. This was not the first film adaptation of the tale of Pyotr Yershov, carried out in the USSR. Directed by Boris Butakov and Ivan Ivanov-Vano showed their reading of this tale, which can be compared to the folk tales, so well written Ershov Russian storyteller. "The Little Humpbacked Horse" belongs to the golden fund of Soviet animation, which houses the best cartoons created over the years. This is a film about loyalty and betrayal, treachery and love, a sense of duty and patriotism. Beautiful painted picture, bright colors, high-quality sound, all this does not give the cartoon old.
The plot of the film "The Little Humpbacked Horse": the old man had three sons. Two older, and smarter, but the youngest, Ivan, and does a fool. When wheat fields began to pour, someone has to tread it. Older brothers were lying in wait, so much so one never caught. But Ivan went at night in the field and caught a mare. After some time, the mare gave birth to three foals, two handsome men, and the third smallest - Gorbunok. When she dies, punished Ivan not to part with Ridgeback. Brothers parted in different directions, and Ivan got a royal stables, groom. He could fulfill any desire of the king, because there is always been faithful Humpbacked Horse ...

Ein Fremder hatte das Feld verwüstet und so weit man sehen konnte den Weizen zerstört. Eines Nachts, während Iwan das Feld bewacht, erscheint ihm plötzlich der Übeltäter – es ist ein himmlischer Schimmel. Er verspricht Iwan zwei wunderschöne, heißblütige Pferde, falls dieser ihn verschone. Zusätzlich erhalte er noch ein Zauberpferd: ‘Klein ist es, den anderen nicht an Schönheit gleich, zwei Höcker hat es und lange Ohren, doch sein Fell ist seidenweich.’ Das Pferd rät: ‘Behüt es gut und gib es nie fort, denn es ist mehr als Gold und Silber wert.’ Gesagt, getan! This one is a writer of more popular fiction & childrens books, but not a bad writer though) the figures are modelled after the original italian story, but Tolstoi made his own story with then. The animation is drawn from the American Film by Jove release, who restorated a lot of Russia animation.( With too saturated colors in general) There aren't many releases of them where they just subtitled the movies. Mostly they dismembered them and added new sound with new dialogs that had about twice as much words als the originals. Horrible. By corruption they acquired the soyuzmultfilm world distribution rights from 1991 - 2011 The authors nor the copyrightholders never received a cent.

Animation directed by Ivan Ivanov-Vano & Alexandra Snezhko-Blotskaya The history of this animation is funny. Made in 1947 it was a great succes for many many years to folloe. In the 70's the copies of that animation were so deteriorated that is was in serious need of restauration (as most of the soviet animations are due to absence of preservation measures) There weren't enough possibilities to restorate, as the art of film restoration was not or hardly develloped yet in Russia, so it was decided in 1976 to make a new version on the basis of the existing script. In the new century the 1947 version was restorated with the possibilities of the new era, with the effect in the end that the 1947 version is in better shape then the 1976 version. Both are uploaded to this channel so you can compare which one you like better

Animation directed by Ivan Ivanov-Vano & Alexandra Snezhko-Blotskaya The history of this animation is funny. Made in 1947 it was a great succes for many many years to folloe. In the 70's the copies of that animation were so deteriorated that is was in serious need of restauration (as most of the soviet animations are due to absence of preservation measures) There weren't enough possibilities to restorate, as the art of film restoration was not or hardly develloped yet in Russia, so it was decided in 1976 to make a new version on the basis of the existing script. In the new century the 1947 version was restorated with the possibilities of the new era, with the effect in the end that the 1947 version is in better shape then the 1976 version. Both are uploaded to this channel so you can compare which one you like better

Mayakovsky is often called the loudspeaker of the Bolshevik Revolution.
Yet he was also a most talented poet, whose works are widely quoted
even today. As a graphic artist, he was one of the founders of the Okna
Rosta (Rosta Windows) a massive media publicity blitz which used
posters to spread word of the Revolution via the Russian telegraphic
agency.
The animation in Black and White is based on his drawings.
In 1922, Mayakovsky received special permission to travel to America.
En route he stopped in Cuba where Americans controlled the sugar and
tobacco industries. Black and White tells the story of Willie, the shoe
shine boy, who makes the fatal mistake of asking the White Sugar King
Mister Bragg, Why should white sugar be made by a black man?
Only fragments of the film were found, without restorable sound. It was
decided to underscore the fragments with excerpts from Sometimes I
feel like a Motherless Child, recorded by Paul Robeson in 1949 at the
Tchaikovsky Theatre in Moscow. The son of an American slave,
Robeson was an athlete, actor, singer, cultural scholar, author, and
political activist. He spoke fluent Russian. Although he never officially
joined the Communist party, he supported the USSR politically which
brought him to the attention of the House Un-American Activities
Committee, and ultimately probably cost him his American career.
In 1952 Robeson was awarded the Stalin Peace Prize. He translated the
Soviet national anthem into English. His rendition, also recorded in
Moscow in 1949, underscores the end credits of this episode.
Oleg Vidov (actor/producer): The Soviet propaganda machine glorified
Robeson almost as an achievement of the International Revolution. But
for the Soviet people who attended his concerts or heard him on radio, he
was a good friend from America, the country which helped us to defeat
the Nazis. During a time of oppression and Stalin terror, here came this
good-spirited, free person from the United States. Unlike us, he could
travel freely and bring us songs in English. He also taught us to sing
Ole Man River in Russian.

The concert is in celebration of, and to publicize, the 5-CD Magnum Opus "Symphony of the Caucasus" [2012], an anthology of classical Circassian music, featuring more than a hundred works written by 30 composers. The idea was conceived by the famous Circassian musician and composer Zhebre'iyl He'wpe, and the project co-ordinators were Maryanna Teuvazhukova [Теувэжыкъуэ] (Nalchik), and Murat Kabardokov (St. Petersburg).
