Idaho's Senator Jim Risch spins Putin's words concerning what he said about ISIS and Russia's intentions. These are the direct quotes of President Putin. It’s quite simple : money makes the world go round. A well-funded campaign will not only attract mercenaries but it will also convert the naive young extremist fighters. To me those are the most interesting of all the forces involved in this conflict, boys from all over the world who are tricked into warfare by triggering extreme anger toward everything that’s western. The aim of ISIS is to be as infamous and as feared as possible, and frankly they are succeeding, not in their goal of world domination but fame, and lots of it. It seems that some medieval practices such as beheading journalists on camera for an “eager crowd” which is in the mood to be shocked, does pay off. However with the current situation, I don’t think they have much more fight in them with the Kurds now taking up arms from both Iraq and Turkey. My sincere hope is that it doesn’t take them much longer because a war is never without casualties and therefore the pile of casualties grows unless this conflict is stopped."
