Synopsis
Maahi (Sheena Shahabadi) is a 15 year old bubbly girl who is the only child of the high class 'Puri' family. Kabir (
Ruslaan Mumtaz) is a 17 year old teenager from a lower middle class family. Maahi and Kabir become friends and get attracted to one others' life style. Their friendship and intimacy grows day by day. On a camping trip on New Year's Eve, the young couple advances into a physical relationship. She loses her virginity and Maahi gets pregnant. The parents strongly disagree to this pregnancy therefore both of them run away together when Maahi refuses to undergo an abortion. Kabir and Maahi's friends take them to an abandoned cottage so that they can stay there to protect their unborn child.
The four worried parents have no other choice than teaming up together and finding their children. Kabir's parents overhear his friends talking about where Kabir and Maahi are and go look for them. Meanwhile, Kabir finds a job to earn money so that they can protect the baby. Maahi keep's the house clean and makes dinner every day and secretely sells fruits.
When the parents find the two, Kabir and Maahi try to escape. When their parents finally catch them, Maahi's parents also find themselves with Kabir's parents. While travelling all together in the bus, Maahi gets ready to give birth to her baby. They all bring Maahi to a hospital and in a while, Maahi gives birth to a baby boy.
A lawyer fights the case about teen pregnancy, and the charge falls on Kabir. Maahi's father fights the case against the opposite lawyer and Kabir is sentenced 3 months remand.

The movie opened from average to positive response. The movie is declared a big hit among the young generation of India, which represents today's 85% of viewership. People have welcomed the new ideology, though
Preity Zinta starrer
Kya Kehna was the one to start this trend.
Kya Kehna was also a superhit. And Teree Sang follows the paths.
