Nick Chinlund (actor),

Behind the scenes, Onion News's corporate owner, Global Tetrahedron, seeks synergy by promoting its other products within Norm's news broadcast. But Norm may end up needing Steven's help.

Quotes:
[last lines]::Norm Archer: For The Onion News... this is Norm Archer. Fuck you, and goodnight.
Cock Puncher: I don't think you have the balls.
Norm Archer: The internet went down for three hours this morning, plunging the nation into productivity. The outage, which caused major work startages from New York to California, prevented an estimated 120 million American employees from messing around on the web at work.
[singing]::Melissa Cherry: When you love me right up front, you know that I don't mind. But what I really want is for you, to take me from behind. I don't mind, no. I don't mind. Take me from be-hi-i-i-ind...::Melissa Cherry: Are you ready? Mmmm. Down on my knees. Baby, when we kiss, my heart just skips a beat. And when you hold my hand, oh, I can hardly speak. But there's one kinda lovin' that I can't do face to face. So, let me give you some affection - just below your waist. Oh, yeah! I'm down on my knees for you. I'm begging please, please for you. Oh! I've got so much love, I need to show it. It's a big job, I don't want to blow it. Oh! Oh, yeah. Oh! Baby. Down on my knees, begging please please.::Melissa Cherry: Shoot your love, baby. Tell me why must you hide that love, that love you got inside. It's been building up so long. Yeah! And that feeling's oh so strong. So baby, shoot your love all over me. Oh! Drown me in a milky sea. Love all over me. Hey, baby! It's you and I, for eternity, for eternity. That's why you've got to shoot your love over me. Oh, yeah, yeah! When I look at you, ba-by, I see a man full of spunk. But what good is it to me, locked away in that trunk? I don't need more roses. No, that would be just reckless. The gift I want from you is my very own pearl necklace. Shoot your love all over me. Hey! Drown me in a milky sea. Love all over me. Ooh, baby! It's you and I, you and I, for eternity, for eternity. That's why you've got to shoot your love all over me.

Quotes:
[Mrs. Wise is staring at one of the terrorists]::Benjamin Wise: Mother, you have to sit around for the take-off.::Etta Grossman-Wise: He has a box.::Benjamin Wise: Who has?::Etta Grossman-Wise: It's tinned. It's between his feet. It says dates. Why would anyone travel with a box of dates? You could carry anything in that box: a gun, a bomb...::Benjamin Wise: Mother!::Etta Grossman-Wise: We should have travelled El Al.::Benjamin Wise: They were all booked.::Etta Grossman-Wise: I don't like Athens.::Benjamin Wise: I know. Very bad security in Athens.::Etta Grossman-Wise: You could come in to Athens from anywhere, and nobody will check between the transit lounge and another plane.
[repeated line]::Shimon Peres: The government of Israel does not negotiate with terrorists!
[after hearing the female terrorist yelling orders in German]::Etta Grossman-Wise: The woman is a Nazi.::Benjamin Wise: Mother, now don't get excited!::Etta Grossman-Wise: I'm not excited. I took a Valium. The woman is still a Nazi.
[as he comes home]::Hershel Vilnofsky: Edra? Edra? Where are you? Edra... you heard it on the radio?::Edra Vilnofsky: I... I left the groceries on the table.::Hershel Vilnofsky: You heard? About the plane?::Edra Vilnofsky: There's... frozen orange juice. It should go in the... refrigerator.::Hershel Vilnofsky: For God's sake, what are you talking about, frozen orange juice? Chana... is in the plane. With terrorists!::Edra Vilnofsky: I... I've been thinking. I should... never have let her wear that red ribbon.::Hershel Vilnofsky: [as he browses through the radio channels] What red ribbon?::Edra Vilnofsky: Around her neck.::Hershel Vilnofsky: [turns the radio off] Nothing on the radio.::Edra Vilnofsky: She wanted to grow up to go to Paris.::Hershel Vilnofsky: She could be killed! What are you talking about, her ribbon?::Edra Vilnofsky: Suppose... suppose they let the children go. They'll never see that she's... just a little girl! They'll think she's a woman!
Etta Grossman-Wise: Where do you think, Mr. Olav? You've had an extensive military background. Where do you think we're going?::Aaron Olav: What?::Etta Grossman-Wise: My son says Khartoum. On the other hand, this gentleman...::Nathan Haroun: Haroun.::Etta Grossman-Wise: ...says Somalia. And as for me... I think India!::Aaron Olav: India?::Etta Grossman-Wise: Why not? I've never been to India! They have erotic temples there, I'm told. I've never seen an erotic temple.::Aaron Olav: That's ridiculous! India? Who ever heard of being hijacked to India?::Etta Grossman-Wise: Well, everybody has an opinion. Now, it's your turn.::Aaron Olav: I don't know!::Etta Grossman-Wise: Well, think it over. When you decide it, let us know, hum?::Aaron Olav: India, hum? India... Humph! Pfah! India!::[Olav and Haroun leave]::Benjamin Wise: Are you serious? India?::Etta Grossman-Wise: Certainly!::[pause]::Etta Grossman-Wise: Or China.
[at Entebbe Airport, as he sees a blue car and some men approaching the plane]::Aaron Olav: [excited] They're Israelis! They're going to get us out of here!::Benjamin Wise: I don't think they're Israelis.::Aaron Olav: No, they're Jews! You can tell! I'm telling you! It's alright!::[the female terrorists runs to the men and hugs them]::Benjamin Wise: I don't think they're Jews.::Aaron Olav: [surprised] Oh. Where do they come from?::Benjamin Wise: Probably Kampala. It's about 30 kilometers from here.::Nathan Haroun: Well, they're...::Aaron Olav: Arabs. Arabs... You can tell... Arabs.
Benjamin Wise: What are you reading?::Etta Grossman-Wise: Agatha Christie.::Benjamin Wise: You read that one in Tel Aviv!::Etta Grossman-Wise: Um-hum, I know. But fortunately, I have just gotten older and absent-minded enough to have forgotten who the murderer is!
[before the Israelis are separated from the other hostages]::Benjamin Wise: Mother, you have a British passport. You stay with the others!::Etta Grossman-Wise: Don't be foolish. They have my Israeli identification card. Besides, it says: Etta Grossman-Wise. Even a German might suspect something.

Picarones: Eating Peruvian Doughnuts for Dessert in Lima, Peru
It´s not every day that we travel and have the opportunity to sample cuisine unique to a specific country. A doughnut is a donut more often than not; however, a Picarone is uniquely Peruvian and as such doesn't translate well in English. Apparently, this Peruvian dessert (and common street food snack) originated during the colonial period. Consisting principally of squash and sweet potato dough it

While traveling in Peru and sampling many different kinds of Peruvian cuisine, we thought it would be a great idea to sit down and do a complete Peruvian food taste test. After raiding a local Wong's grocery store and a few corner stores nearby the comfy confines of our apartment in Miraflores, it was time to let our taste buds take over.
The Peruvian snacks we selected are typical things you would find anywhere including Peruvian snacks, Peruvian junk food, Peruvian chocolate bars, Peruvian chips, Peruvian wafers, Peruvian sodas and Peruvian candies just to name a few. When it comes to eating sometimes our eyes are much bigger than our stomachs ;)
Overall, when considering things to do in Peru, I can't think of anything better than tucking into the local favorites. Peru (and Lima in particular) is the foodie capital of South America and trying many of these snacks for the first time was an adventure for our taste buds. Watch us as we react to the food. The following is a comprehensive list of all the things we tried from sweet to salty:
1) Chifles - Salty banana chips

wn.com/Peruvian Food Taste Test

They generally require an owner that understands dog language and are not recommended for beginners.

Consisting principally of squash and sweet potato dough it is typically served up in ring formation with a healthy dose of syrup. Often the syrup is either a honey or molasses which is called chancaca. We found it most similar to an airy waffle oversaturated with syrup. The key is to sop it up with as much syrup as possible. Although it comes with several rings it is actually quite a bit lighter in taste and texture than it appears to the eye. If you're wandering the streets of Lima be sure to try one - it's cheap and delicious!
Eating Peruvian Doughnuts (Picarones) in Lima, Peru travel video transcript:
Well, Hello there!
So this afternoon we are at Parque Kennedy and we are here for some dessert. We've been eating like pigs all day long but there is still a bit of room left for a little something sweet, so we're going to try Picarones.
Look at this - I already have a bee following me because of the honey. Isn't that amazing?
Woah. And we thought about getting two orders. Haha. This will be plenty.
Alright, so here we have our dessert. These are Picarones and they are like fried rings. Fried dough made with sweet potato and pumpkin and they have a sweet honey drizzled all over. And they're uniquely Peruvian cuisine. Oh, yes.
So I'm just going to go for it and take a bite. Dig right in.
Mmmmm. These are so fresh. Wow. Really fluffy and airy. Can you taste that honey? Oh, yeah. I sure can. And like they are so light I've already finished half of one. I understand why they give you five. You can just devour them in a few minutes. And we've got a guest who is interested as well. Hi, Kitty. Hello, Mr. Meowzers.
So as I mentioned previously, this is a uniquely Peruvian dish. And as such there isn't an English equivalent. I suppose we could call it a Peruvian doughnut with honey. And so that is what we're going with. And this is my first bite. My first time to ever try this so I am really excited. I am sopping it up in honey. Woo Hoo!. Honey syrup. Let's try this.
Oh my gosh. That is so good. You know what it reminds me of? It kind of reminds me of a oversaturated waffle with maple syrup or honey. It's like where you pour like three times as much as you actually need on the waffle and then you eat it. This is what it tastes like right here. Mmmm.
I don't mess around when I eat food. What can I say.
So this tasty dessert only cost us five Soles. That would be one sole for each donut that we've already eaten.
That is pretty affordable actually with the exchange rate it would be about a dollar seventy-five and you do get a lot of food for that.
So if you're looking to pair this sweet treat with a little beverage you can get something called Chicha which is a purple corn juice that goes perfectly with it.
So there are five of these but only two of us. So who gets that third one? We split it down the middle Sam. Oh, I don't agree with that.
Sleepy kitty. Meow. Meow. Meow. Meow.
There are hundreds of cats in this park. Look here is another one. Meow. Meow.
That was a delicious sweet treat and we're going to be back at this park again very soon to film some more street food.

Thank you to Ceviche Arigato for letting me make this video in their restaurant. Make sure to leave a like on their Facebook Page: https://www.facebook.com/cevichearigato
In this video I try various different Peruvian foods, such as:
- Lomo Saltado
- Ceviche
- Yuca A La Huancaina
- Jalea
- Picarones
I as a British guy, really enjoyed the Peruvian food and would strongly recommend you try it if you ever get the chance. The reason I mainly wanted to make this video is because my girlfriend Kristin is half Peruvian and she got me into having peruvian snacks and foods and I really like them. Make sure to share this video with your friends if you think they would enjoy it and make sure to especially to share it with a Peruvian! ;)

Lately, our travel/food adventures have taken us to nearby parks in Lima or restaurants in Miraflores; however, we've yet to show you a typical meal we'd have at home. With this in mind, we share with you today a typical Peruvian breakfast consisting of two main staples: Tamales and Pan Con Chicharrón
Tamales are a traditional breakfast item consisting primarily of masa (a starchy corn-based dough), steamed in a banana leaf wrapper that is discarded before eating. You can get them stuffed with all sorts of fillings including cheese, chicken and pork.
Pan Con Chicharron is a crispy savory pork sandwich featuring slices of cooked sweet potato (Kamote) and sour onions. The combination of savory, sweet and sour is unbeatable.
When visiting Peru be sure to try these for breakfast!
Peruvian Breakfast: Eating Tamales and Pan Con Chicharrón in Lima Travel Video Transcript:
So good morning from Lima. We've been showing you guys a lot of street food, a lot of traditional meals but today we're bringing you into the home to show you what a Peruvian breakfast looks like.
And that is what I got right here. Today we are sampling two traditional breakfasts. We're going to be having Tamales (which is what you see over here) and we're also having something called Pan Con Chicharrón, so let's just dig in because I'm starving.
This is my favourite food item Tamale. And it is time for the big unveil.
So here we have the dish and I am so excited to dig in. So in case you're not too familiar with Tamales it is actually a starchy corn dough which is wrapped in a plantain leaf and then it is either steamed or boiled. You can get it with different kinds of meats so we ordered chicken and pork today and by the looks of it this is the chicken and it also has got some black olives in there. So I'm going to dig right in.
So yeah, this is a really nice savory and starchy dish. It is a really nice way to start the day because it is a very hearty breakfast, it fills you up for the rest of the day and it just tastes so good. Man, I'm going to have one more bite. I'll be lucky if I get one bite of that. Yeah. It's all mine. Mmmm. You going to have one more bite for the fans? I'm good. Hahaha.
So Sam what are you having for breakfast today? For my Peruvian breakfast, I am having Pan Con Chicharron. And if that is not a handful enough of a word this looks like a pretty big sandwich. Look at what we've got here. So, I'm going to open it up for you guys here. What it appears to have is onions and a generous portion on the other side of the patty of sweet potatoes which are called Kamote. And I have to say about the sweet potatoes here in Peru, they are especially sweet and good quality. Mmm. And what about the meat? So the meat is pork and it is called Chicharrón because it is really nice and crispy. It sounds like the perfect sandwich to me.
Alright, my favorite part of every food video - the first bite. Mmmm, yeah. That meat is amazing and when you pair it with the sweet potato that is an all-time winning combo. I love this. I could eat this for breakfast, lunch, dinner, snack, whatever. Mmmm.
And this looked too good so I wanted to try it as well because I'm hungry that way. Is that your way of basically kicking me off as a presenter. More or less, right? Mmmm.
That is a winning combination. This may be my new favorite breakfast item actually. Wow! It just knocked off the other item, the Tamales?
Give me a second to finish chewing. Alright, so what I like about this one is that you have the savoury pork - the Chicharron - then you've got the sweet potatoes but also the onions in the sandwich have been soaked in lemon so there is a nice sourness to it. So you have all of these flavours mixing together and it is just like a party in my mouth. And the quality of the bun is really good too. So yeah, you put those nice ingredients. That sour, sugary ingredients with a nice quality bun. It is so good. Oh man, I know. And that is supposed to be mine. So um, you're only getting one more bite. It better be a big one then. Make it worthwhile.
That's what is left.
We've had a very patient third member in this food video. Dog Maki. And I like to refer to this cute little dog as the goose of silly. It has so much energy and when we bring it to the table to give it a little bit - is it Chicharron? -he is going to be over the moon excited. Let's go get him. He's got quite the appetite. Let's go get him.
This is part of our Travel in Peru series. We're making a series of videos showcasing Peruvian culture, Peruvian arts, Peruvian foods, Peruvian religion, Peruvian cuisine and Peruvian people. All things Peruano.

The long lost, forgotten cities of South America always were there in people’s imagination. In Peru we can dream ourselves back into the empire of the Incas, into the age of the Sun God and the ruthless conquistadors. We can travel the 1000 year old Inca trail, travel through the Sacred Valley and take a walk in the amazing ruins of Machu Picchu. We can meet kechua and uro indians, we can buy their traditional clothing and listen to their songs and music. From an airplaine, we can try to solve the secret of the Nazca lines, we can take a train to the Altiplano, we can travel through the paradise of the Paracas Paninsula on boat, we can take a look at the monuments of Lima and Cuzco, and follow Thor Heyerdahl’s path, when we sit into a boat on the Titicaca lake.

Travel video about destination Peru.
Lima is the capital of Peru, the second largest country in South America after Brazil and Argentina.The Palacio De Gobierno is also known as Pizzarro, or Government Palace. This Neo-Classic building was completed in 1938 and stands on the foundation of the former Pizzarro Palace. In the palace gardens is the house in which Pizzarro was killed. Lima, the City of Kings, became the capital of the largest region in Spanish South America and was where the viceroys of the Spanish crown resided. During colonial times this city was the largest, most populated, finest and most cultivated city on the continent. Some of the most beautiful colonial buildings in South America are to be found in Lima’s old town along with carved balconies of Moorish origin. Huaraz is the 3,050 metre high capital of the Departamento Ancash in the White Mountain range, the Cordillera Blanca. Several natural catastrophes destroyed the majority of the old houses and many people were killed. In 1824 Simon Bolivar built his headquarters there prior to his bloody struggle for Peru’s independence. The valley oasis of Nazca which played an important role during the early history of Peru is a desolate area in the south of the country. A small airport is the starting point of a journey to one of the world’s greatest mysteries, the enigma of Nazca culture: images of humans, animals and geometric forms scattered over an area of 1,000 km² like the pages of some fantastic historical and astronomical book, created by the Nazca between 500 B.C. and 500 A.D.The 8,300 km² Lake Titicaca is located at an altitudeof 4,000 m in the Andes Mountains on the border that divides Peru and Bolivia. Then there’s Machu Picchu, the Lost City Of The Incas! Peru is a country full of mystery and ancient history. A land of mountains, desert and jungle. A precious gem on the edge of the world!

Peru – a land of extremes and intrigue – principally known for being home to the most important archaeological site in all of the Americas, offers in reality so much more. Its landscapes range from high Andean peaks, to sultry Amazon rainforests, from high altitude deserts and wild windswept coasts. Of course its great to travel with the Incas from Cusco to the awe-inspiring Machu Picchu, but its also possible to get off the beaten track, to explore remote ruins of the cloud warriors in the north, or afro-Peruvian beats along the pacific coast. Most of all it’s a diverse country that offers something for everyone. But for many, a trip to Peru will begin in Cusco.
As the ancient Inca capital, and the political power base in colonial times, Cusco has its fair share of sites. Sitting in a narrow valley surrounded by pine-covered hills, it’s a stunning place with enough cathedrals, churches, museums, galleries, cafes and shops to keep the modern traveller entertained for a week. Of course with one of the world’s foremost tourist attractions lying just up the road, most of the time Cusco is busy with locals and travellers alike, but don’t let that put you off; like many other similar locations, Cusco is popular for a reason… it’s simply a beautiful place to hang out.
As the traditional thoroughfare between Cusco and Machu Picchu, the lush agricultural Sacred Valley is littered with impressive Inca ruins. Probably the most famous are the sites of Pisac – where the famous terraces rise over a thousand feet from the valley floor to the mountaintop – and at Ullataytambo. Here again the site overs a great insight into the life of the Inca nation and some great views of the Sacred Valley. There are also some pretty towns and villages to explore; you can hike, horse ride, mountain bike or even paraglide; and you can stay in some pretty special accommodation.
But of course most people travelling this way have one goal in mind, and that’s to reach the ancient Inca citadel of Machu Pichu. There are many ways to get to the sacred Inca site: you can trek along the Inca Trail, or walk staying at beautiful mountain lodges, or you can horse ride, pretty much all the way there. Wild Frontiers offers a horse riding trip through the region.
There are plenty of trains to take you to Machu Picchu, but this is the most special. The Hiram Bingham service, operated by the Belmond Orient Express, offers a great way to climb through the Andean foothills to Machu Picchu, presenting great views – either from your seat of the observation car – delicious dining and champagne! Alighting at Aguas Calientes, buses then take us the last part of the journey to the actual site itself.
Although the exact purpose and function of Machu Picchu is still a matter of conjecture, there’s no denying that for the Incas this awe-inspiring ancient city must have been a very important ceremonial site. The quality of the buildings, of the intricate terracing, and the lofty position of the citadel itself, all point towards a hugely important cultural centre. Interestingly, it was never revealed to the Spanish invaders, and was only discovered in the early 20th century when American historian, Hiram Bingham, chanced upon it while searching for the lost city of Vilcabamba. Today it undoubtedly forms the highlight for most peoples’ trips to Peru.
For many that is tourism in Peru; but not for us at Wild Frontiers. For us this vast country offers much more. For a start there is the beautiful Lake Titicaca to check out, a giant inland sea, peppered by idyllic rural islands. (Use images from Bolivia) There is the picturesque town of Araquipa, back-dropped by the stunning El Misti volcano, and access point to the spectacular Colca Canyon, where you are pretty much guaranteed to see the mighty Andean condor fly. There are the quite extraordinary Nazca lines to fly above and Peru is one of the best places to visit the Amazon rainforest, where you are likely to stumble upon all manner of exotic animals. And in the country’s rarely visited northern highlands were we run one of our most successful group tours to visit, among other places, the fortress of Kuelap, and the home of the ancient cloud warriors of Chachopyas, and the newly discovered Gocta Falls.
And lastly of course there are the Peruvians themselves, whose colourful culture dates back into the mists of time, and who are as hospitable and friendly as any on the continent.
(245 or 246) For most tourism to Peru will revolve around three places, Cusco, the Sacred Valley and here at Macchu Pichu. But my advice is to remember, as amazing as those places are there’s a lot more travelling in Peru than just that. Come and see for yourself.

I know that some or a lot of these are common sense but I really hope this video proves to be useful to you and I'm sorry it's incredibly long :P I never thought I'd have a video this long....EVER!!
Sources I used to find this info:
1. https://www.osac.gov/pages/ContentReportDetails.aspx?cid=13548
2. http://www.expatperu.com/safety-in-peru.html

4. My own common sense :)
Special thanks to my friend Suz who really pushed me to get back on the horse with these videos! I know I'm not looking my best but it was a "it's now or never" moment for me :P
Another special thanks to the friends who shared their experiences with me so I could share them with you. I totally forgot to say that in the video so THANK YOU FRIENDS!!! You know who you are :)
Thanks for watching once again!

In Cusco, and the Sacred Valley, magnificent ruins await the adventurous traveler. The most famous of all is Machu Picchu.
Cusco is the former capital of the Inca Empire of the Sun. Since the 16th century, Spanish colonial buildings were built atop former Inca Palaces, of which only the foundations remain. Examples in the central Plaza de Armas are the Cusco Cathedral and La Compañia church. Another striking example is Qorikancha, the former golden courtyard of the Temple of the Sun. The Spanish used stones from Sacsayhuaman, an Inca stronghold overlooking the city.
In the Urubamba Valley, or Sacred Valley, visitors can see the mysterious Moray Terraces and the pre-Inca Salt Mines of Maras. Ollantaytambo is a living Inca city and its towering ruins form the start of the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu.
The long-lost Inca bastion was uncovered from the jungle in 1911. It remains a mystery how the Incas managed to stack the heavy granite blocks that make up the city’s buildings so precisely, at high altitude.
Little is also known about how the Incas turned a multi-lingual tribal region in an empire that is now known as one of the greatest civilizations in history.

Travel video about destination Cuzco in Peru.
Today a proud symbol of the Conquistadores, the historic Spanish conquerors, towers over the town of Cuzco in Peru’s mountains. Prior to the arrival of the Spanish, Cuzco lay at the centre of the Inca world and was the capital and religious centre of an immense kingdom.The unique combination of Spanish and Inca culture is apparent in the attractive architecture of the town. Typical characteristics of the houses are the overhanging tiled roofs and beautiful old balconies. One of the town’s most extravagant colonial buildings, the Compañía De Jesús Church in the Plaza De Armas Square, was built on mighty Inca foundations. Some of Cuzco’s streets still display the impressive and sturdy architecture of the Inca people. Attractive houses line the former procession roads of the Inca that led from the main square, today’s Plaza De Armas, to the Sun Temple. Although historic, Cuzco is full of mystery and speculation with regard to its famous Inca predecessors.

The Atacama Desert ( Desierto de Atacama) is a plateau in South America, covering a 1,000-kilometre (600 mi) strip of land on the Pacific coast, west of the Andes mountains. It is the driest non-polar desert in the world. According to estimates the Atacama Desert proper occupies 105,000 square kilometres (41,000 sq mi), but its size rises to 128,000 square kilometres (49,000 sq mi) when the barren lower slopes of the Andes are included. Most of the desert is composed of stony terrain, salt lakes (salares), sand, and felsic lava that flows towards the Andes.
Location:
=========
explora Atacama is located in the Ayllu de Larache (initially a kin-based community of the ancient Atacameño people), near the village of San Pedro de Atacama
Explorations:
============
Our explorations are the most important aspect of our travel experience. We have over 40 different guided hikes, bike rides, high mountain ascents and horseback rides, in groups of maximum 8 travelers. All our explorations have different difficulty levels ranging from easy to demanding, and different durations, half day or full day
Recommended explorations:
===================
Stargazing sessions at the explora observatory, the Puritama hot springs, Guatín-Puritama (half day hike) and Quebrada de Nacimiento (full day hike), Cerro Toco (half day high mountain ascent), Quebrada del Diablo (half day horseback ride), Piedra de la Coca (half day bike ride)
Rooms and view:
====================
The lodge has 50 rooms with breathtaking views of desert landscapes and the Cordillera de la Sal
Disconnection:
=================
At explora, we actively seek disconnection from everyday routine, which is why our rooms are not equipped with televisions or Wi-Fi, which is only available in the lodge’s common areas
Minimum stay and recommendations:
=================================
Our programs have a 3 night minimum stay, however, we highly recommend you stay for 5 nights in order to fully experience this destination.
When to visit: You can enjoy our journeys any time of year. Each season has its own charm, colors and aromas. We go out exploring every single day

Cuzco (also "Cusco", or "Qosqo" in Quechua), located in the Southern Sierras is a fascinating city that was the capital of the Inca Empire. Cuzco is a Unesco World Heritage Site and is one of Peru's most visited cities as it is the largest and most comfortable city from which tourists can begin visits to Machu Picchu, the Sacred Valley of the Incas, and other Inca sites in the region.

==================
Museo Municipal de Arte Contemporáneo, located in the Municipal Palace at Plaza Regocijo. Has exhibitions of contemporary art. Admission with the boleto turistico
Museo Historico Regional, located in the home of the Inca historian Garcilaso de la Vega. Many paintings from the 17th and 18h century.
Museo del Centro de Textiles Tradicionales de Cusco, Av Sol. No. 603. A beautiful (and free) museum inside El Centro's textile store featuring a gallery containing displays of traditional Quechuan and Andean textiles. The museum explains the historical significance of textiles and the techniques by which they are made. A must-see, and visitors can buy the traditional textiles as they come in. A large majority of the money goes to the women who produce them, and the textiles are of much higher quality than the synthetic and machine-woven textiles found throughout the city.
Museo del Sitio del Qoricancha, Av Sol. With information about the different pre-Columbian cultures and fragments of ceramics and textiles of the Inca culture. A very small museum, the showcase room includes three mummies and skulls modified by the Incas with holes or sloped foreheads. Allow an hour to an hour and a half. English explanations are present but lacking.
Museo de Arte Popular, located in the basement of the OFEC office. Displays a collection of popular art.
Galleries; the stunning scenery of the Cuzco area are often very well depicted by local artists. It is possible to find cheap prints that are of surprisingly good quality if you're prepared to shop around.
Santa Catalina Convent, also a collection of religious art. Admission with the boleto turistico.

The walls of the city are Inca, particularly near the Plaza de Armas.
Monumento Pachacuteq, down Av. Sol, is a statue of the Inca warrior King Pachacuteq. The statue is placed on a cylindrical base and the total monument is over 22 m high. The cylindrical base can be climbed, but views are disappointing because the monument is located at a lower part of town.
