Simple Healing Technique -
Mind Calming 2. Mind Calming is just one of many simple healing techniques, which can be used in many circumstances.
Mind Calming can be effective to help calm the mind and de-stress the body, in a home, work, school, sport, travel, or social environment.
Mind Calming can be used anywhere and at any time especially where stress levels or feelings of panic are elevated.
Mind Calming can be especially useful for therapists and practitioners, where clients are uptight or anxious prior to or during therapy sessions or treatments.
It can also be effective for pre-wedding tension, interviews, exams, and so forth, and for people who are over wrought, over worked, stressed or anxious and finding it difficult to relax and calm down.
As we sometimes say to our sports clients; A minute worrying off the pitch can be a minute lost on the pitch, and this can apply to many areas of our lives.
You can learn this short, simple powerful and effective technique now. Just try it out for yourself – it really works! For family, friends, or work colleagues.
Before you begin explain to your client what it is you intend to do.
Remain calm yourself, breathing in and out slowly, - inhaling and exhaling, calming your own body and mind.
Rub your two hands together to warm your hands and build up the energy field between your hands.
Now stand behind your client and very gently rest your hands palms upwards on each shoulder, as shown on this video.
With one hand resting on each shoulder, ask your client to close their eyes, and breathe in and out slowly, inhaling and exhaling, letting go of every moment, up until this moment.
Ask your client to try and let go of all thoughts, past present and future and try to focus their attention on their breathing.
Hold your hands in this position one on each shoulder for up to 10 minutes.
You can also do mind calming if your client is lying down. In this case sit at their head position, and gently rest your hands, one on each of their shoulders, palms upwards, as seen on this video.
It is not recommended that persons under the age of 18 use this healing technique
