To complete this How-To you will need: 1 c. cold spring water 3 c. kosher for Passover flour Large bowl Rolling pin Cookie sheet Parchment paper Fork Airtight container Step 1: Clean everything Make sure the baking area is completely clean. Clean the oven and the counters thoroughly and clean, then boil, any utensils you'll be using. Step 2: Heat the oven Heat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Step 3: Combine water and flour Put the flour into a large bowl and gradually add the water as you knead the dough until it's no longer sticky. Work quickly: No more than 18 minutes can pass between the time the water hits the flour and you put the dough in the oven to avoid the possibility that the dough could ferment and rise on its own. Tip: If a large amount of matzo is needed for your Passover celebration, bake additional batches separately; the time constraints make it difficult to increase the recipe. Step 4: Roll it out Roll out the dough as thinly as possible and transfer it to a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper, or separate the ...

20 Things To Do With Matzah
20 Things To Do With Matzah
A post-Passover musical greeting! Song composed by William Levin Lyrics by William Levin and Michelle Citrin Performed by Michelle Citrin and William Levin Download the song! iTunes: itunes.com CDBaby: cdbaby.com LYRICS: Passover's over, and wouldn't it be neat if you could use all the matzah that you didn't eat? 1. Catch it like a Frisbee with your friends in the park, or you could 2. jump in the water and pretend you're a shark 3. You can make a matzah pick and play the guitar, and you can 4. make a matzah license plate for your car 5. Use it as a coaster when you're drinking a beer, and 6. Throw it as confetti for a happy new year 7. INSULATE 8. DECORATE 9. EXFOLIATE 10. CONSTIPATE? Passover's over, and wouldn't it be neat if you could use all the matzah that you didn't eat 11. Crumble up some matzah to line your hamster cage 12. or you can use it as a bookmark to hold your page 13. Break a stack of matzah when you practice your karate 14. build a matzah dog house for your doggy named Scottie 15. Make a little matzah boat and wave it goodbye, 16. or make a pair of matzah wings and learn how to fly 17. Wear some matzah jewelry 18. Make a picture frame for me 19. Have a drink of matzah tea 20. Matzah's all that I can see! There's just one more thing to do with unleavened bread ... you can eat it ... cuz it ain't all that bad.

Chocolate-Matzo-Recipe
Chocolate-Matzo-Recipe
This chocolate matzo recipe makes a quick and easy dessert for Passover or anytime. A sprinkle of sea salt gives this chocolate covered matzo recipe a gourmet flavor the whole family will enjoy. For this recipe, you will need: 3-4 boards of matzoh 3/4 cup butter 3/4 cup brown sugar 1-1/2 cups chocolate chips (semisweet, dark or milk are all fine) sea salt, to taste 1/2 cup chopped almonds Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Start by lining a baking sheet with foil. Top it with a sheet of parchment paper or waxed paper. This will help keep the chocolate matzo from sticking. Now place as many pieces of matzoh on the sheet as you can fit. It's fine to break them into pieces to make them fit easier. Next, add the butter to a saucepan over medium heat. Add the brown sugar. Stir and bring the mixture come to a boil. Let it boil for 3-4 minutes, then remove the caramel sauce from the heat and pour over the matzoh. Smooth it over with a spatula, you want to get every piece covered. Now place it in the oven, and bake for 12-15 minutes, until the caramel is golden brown, like this. As soon as the matzo comes out of the oven, sprinkle on the chocolate chips, and return the matzo to the oven to bake for another 2 minutes. Remove the matzo from the oven, and immediately use the back of a flat spatula to spread the softened chocolate chips into a smooth layer of melted chocolate. Sprinkle on a little sea salt, and top with some chopped nuts (that's optional, of course). Now let the ...
