Austria was ruled by the Habsburg dynasty from 1278/1282 to 1918. Therefore, historical Austria is also known as the Habsburg Empire or the Habsburg Monarchy. The Habsburgs made Austria a great power in 1477, when they inherited much of what is now the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg. Soon afterwards they inherited many more lands by their marriage policies. During the 16th century, the Habsburgs ruled over large parts of Europe. Charles V reigned over perhaps a quarter of the European population (not to speak of his enormous American colonial empire). The centuries afterwards Austria remained a great power until World War I, when the nationalistic thoughts in Europe finally divided the old empire into many small states.
It's important to put in mind that Austria has always been a "part" of Germany until the 19th century. Indeed, the German Empire didn't exist until 1871, but the Germans (Austrians included) more or less realized they shared a similar language and culture, and the medieval Holy Roman Empire actually was for the most part a German state until it fell apart in the fatal 13th century. Since 1452, the Habsburgs were (with one short exception) the emperors of the Holy Roman Empire, which was by now virtually a very loose confederation of states. However, the position of the Holy Roman Emperor gave the Habsburgs privileges and some sort of loyalty from the German princes, although some monarchs—most notably the Prussian kings—openly contested Habsburg primacy. The Austrians were finally abandoned outside the German Empire in 1871.
Music:
Johann Strauss II - An der schönen blauen Donau (English title: The Blue Danube), composed in 1866.

In which John Green teaches you about the Holy Roman Empire by teaching you about Charles V. Charles Hapsburg was the holy Roman Emperor, but he was also the King of Spain. And the King of Germany. And the King of Italy and the Lord of the Netherlands and Count Palatine of Burgundy. In short, Charles was runnin' thangs in much of the world during his reign. Charles ruled a lot of countries, and he was also known for encouraging intellectual discourse and he even spoke out against slavery, in a limited. So why did he consider himself a failure, and why did he break up the Empire when he abdicated in 1556? Mainly because the Holy Roman Empire didn't work very well. It was huge, and it didn't have any means of directly raising taxes. Plus, it was a pretty crazy time in Europe anyway, and Charles found himself in charge of the Catholic-Church-Endorsed Empire in the time of Martin Luther and the Protestant Reformation. John will teach you a bit about how Charles put the Empire together, and how it fell apart, and even talk a bit about the Diet of Worms.
This episode was written by Neal Schulz, but we messed up the onscreen credits. Thanks, and great work, Neal.

Exhibition Dates: February 15 - May 10, 2015
This sweeping exhibition showcases the amazing history of the Austrian Habsburg Emperors, who commissioned and collected households full of masterpieces by which to display their power. It focuses particularly on the three periods of their greatest flourishing.
The first relates the history of the Habsburgs from the dynasty’s origins in the 13th century until the 16th century. The central figure is Maximilian I, during whose reign the Habsburgs achieved world-power status. You’ll see how an international network of political and family relations aided in the amassing of unique collections of art.
Devoted to the Age of the Baroque, the second block explores the art, culture, and politics of the 17th and 18th centuries. During this period the House of Habsburg dies out in both Spanish and Austrian male lines, provoking considerable political complications and the loss of Spain. A female heiress, Maria Theresa, succeeded in establishing her right to rule as heir to the Austrian line, becoming the final ruler of the House of Habsburg. Visitors will discover the role of religion, art, and court festivities as instruments propagating the dynasty’s self‐image and claim to rule. Key figures include Leopold Wilhelm, Leopold I, Charles VI, and Maria Theresa.
The early 19th century saw the final demise of the Holy Roman Empire and the establishment of the hereditary Austrian Empire. With the growth of nationalism, the empire would be transformed into the dual monarchy of Austria‐Hungary. Key figures of this period are Francis II (I) and Franz Joseph. This section explores the long reign of Emperor Franz Joseph, the founding of the Kunsthistorisches Museum, and the creation of the multinational empire. This empire, characterized by a highly hierarchical social order, is represented by the lavish gowns of the imperial court. At the end of World War I in 1918, it dissolved into its component parts, bringing almost 600 years of Habsburg rule in Europe to an end.

Vienna is the capital of Austria, in Central Europe. It is an ancient fortress city that lies nestled on the eastern fringe of the Alps, on the banks of the Danube River.
One hundred years ago, this glittering city gave birth to an artistic and cultural revolution. It was a revolution that changed the future and secured forever, Vienna’s place as one of the world’s great cities.
Free thinking flourished in its cafe’s and new ideas in music, and philosophy became embedded in its cobblestones.
Today, visitors flock to Vienna, to experience a dynamic art culture, set amidst
historic streets where strauss’ waltzes still seem to echo. They come to drink coffee where some of the world’s greatest thinkers spent time and enjoy some of the world’s most magnificent artworks.
Join locals for a game of pool or a discussion on philosophy at Cafe Sperl.
Visit the Demel Bakery, the original confectioners to the Austrian Royal Family. Order a sachentorte - a traditional chocolate cake and relax with an international newspaper.
Stroll to the Vienna State Opera, considered one of the greatest opera houses in the world. Take a backstage tour, learn the story of this historic place and see the hidden machinery that creates the performance magic.
A little further along the ring is the Hofburg Imperial Palace. This impressive palace was home to the Hapsburg dynasty who ruled the area for centuries and currently serves as the official residence for the President of Austria.
Examine ancient manuscripts and see the some of the earliest globes in the Austrian National Library which is also housed here.
Take the time to enjoy the Volksgarten - or people’s garden - famous for its more than 400 species of roses and the Theseus Temple in its centre. There are 2000 parks in Vienna so there is always somewhere nearby to relax.
Layered with history, Vienna is a truly international city. Explore monumental palaces and priceless artworks, all set amidst a cafe culture that changed the world.

Travel video about destination Graz in Austria.
Graz is located in the centre of Styria and is the second largest city in Austria, a town that fascinates with its southern flair, magnificent historical buildings and beautiful panoramic views. The city's main landmark is its twenty-eight metre high clock tower that was built in 1561 and is one of the few remains of an old fortress. In order to facilitate a clearer view of the time from the historic part of the town below, the minute hand of the clock was exchanged with that of the hour hand. The first recorded history of Graz dates back to 1128 but earlier archaeological records indicate that it was originally a settlement in 2,000 B.C.But the main architectural focal point in Graz is the Landhaus. Domenico Ell'allio transformed the old meeting hall of Styria's country estates into a typical Renaissance building. Many cultural and historic works of art combine in perfect harmony and thus make Graz a particularly unique and attractive town.

Travel video about destination Vienna in Austria.
Vienna is one of the world's most beautiful, historic cities, brimming with nostalgia and with all the grand architecture of a once glorious empire, for three centuries it was home to the Austrian monarchy.
The architectural image of the city is dominated by the Ringstrasse, a four kilometre long boulevard which encircles the centre of the city.
It was under the supervision of Maria Theresia that the magnificent royal residence, the Schönbrunn Palace, was completed. More than 1,700 beautifully-preserved rooms afforded the large Imperial family much freedom of movement and its magnificent interior décor is one of the most lavish of its time. The Palace Grounds contain the outstanding Neptune Fountain and at the highest point, the Gloriette, from which the entire palace grounds are visible, as well as the charming Schönbrunn Zoo, the oldest animal enclosure in the world.
St. Stephen's Cathedral dominates the centre of Vienna and not far away behind the State Opera House, is the venerable Hotel Sacher, with its old Viennese coffee house.
Johann Strauss, the Vienna Boys' Choir, Lipizzaner horses and Heurige wine, Vienna is a city of irresistible charm!

Travel video about destination Tyrol.
The Tyrol is a picturesque federal state in the west of Austria and one of the most beautiful areas in Europe set within the magnificent Alps. It boasts many ancient towns, monasteries and fortresses that highlight the region’s history.Kitzbühel was once a prosperous mining town but today it is a world famous ski resort that is also popular in the summer months. The old town, with its pretty middle class buildings that date back to the fifteenth century, is a fine example of Austria’s rural architecture. Westendorf was judged to be the most beautiful village in Europe and not without reason as it nestles picturesquely within a fertile high valley on the northern slopes of the Kitzbüheler Alps, an oasis of relaxation in contrast to the busy tourist centres of the surrounding area. The Fohlenhof Ebbs Stud at the foot of the Kaiser Mountains is the official location of the Tyrol Horse Breeding Union and is where the famous Haflinger horses are bred. Further west of the Inntal the Alpbach Tal leads into an untouched natural landscape. At an altitude of nine hundred and seventy five metres above sea level is the remote mountain village of Alpbach, the most beautiful village in the Tyrol which has maintained its traditional character with typical timber built farmhouses and balconies decorated with flowers. At the junction of Unter-Inntal and Ober-Inntal is the Tyrol’s metropolis of Innsbruck, the Florence Of The North. The nearby mountains form a magnificent backdrop for the Late Gothic city centre whose main street leads from the Triumph Pforte to as far as the Annasäule and then on to the Golden Dachl. Today this popular Alpine holiday region welcomes international visitors throughout the year and is most deservedly referred to as a natural treasure in the very heart of Europe!

Tom Neuwirth aka Conchita Wurst's first press conference interview (in German) after landing in Austria Vienna after winning the Eurovision Song Contest 2014 ESC in Copenhagen. The bearded lady got known on the Internet as "The Queen of Europe" or "The Queen of Austria" and scored one of the highest votes ever in ESC. This was Austria's first win in the competition since 1966 with "Merci, Chérie".
As an Austrian I think many Austrians feel humbled by the passionate support from so many countries and the amazing atmosphere in the hall! Thank you!!! So many exiting songs and countries!!! See you in Austria next year!
Also big respect for the composers of this song (Rise Like a Phoenix) and for the stunning performance and voice of course.

Karl von Habsburg, a descendant of the Austrian royal family, is a dedicated pro-European activist and the president of the Austrian pan-European movement.
Habsburg is also a prominent lobbyist for a united Europe, and chaired a conference on Bosnia's EU integration that was held in Sarajevo on Friday.
Von Habsburg said that today's Europe Union is a direct product of the lessons learned from the First and Second World Wars.
"What came out of it was a united Europe, which is the biggest peace project we had on this continent, at least for some part of Europe," he said.
Commenting about the prospect of Bosnia joining the European Union, von Habsburg, who is himself a former European parliament MP, said: "Europe will never be complete also without Bosnia."

STORYLINE:
The last heir to the Austro-Hungarian empire, Otto von Habsburg, was laid to rest in Vienna's Imperial Crypt on Saturday.
His coffin was carried to the crypt in a 2.4 kilometre-long (1.5 mile-long) funeral procession through the Austrian capital.
Guardsmen wearing traditional Austrian dress accompanied the coffin along streets lined with mourners.
Otto von Habsburg died on July 4 at the age of 98 in southern Germany.
Members of the Habsburg dynasty have been buried in the Imperial Crypt since 1632. It is one of Vienna's prime tourist attractions.
The crypt contains the hearts of the Habsburgs in urns separate from the coffins.
But Habsburg's heart was to be buried separately on Sunday in the Benedictine Abbey in Pannonhalma, central Hungary, on his request, to show the affection he held for Hungary, Austria's 19th century partner in the Austro-Hungarian empire.

This story is the first of three completed novels in which fictional Vienna Police Inspector Karl Marbach is a central character. It takes place in mid April of 1938, one month after the Anschluss, the Nazi annexation of Austria. In the war that began in 1914, Marbach was awarded the highest medal bestowed by the Austro-Hungarian Empire. Now he works for Vienna Criminal Police—Vienna Kripo. Although born into a poor family, he identifies with the deposed Habsburgs. From that identification, he derives his strong sense of honor. In his work and in his life, he prides himself on being guided by reason, not emotion. His lover is Volkstheater actress Constanze Tandler. He is concerned that his actress lover’s highly emotional, deeply passionate hatred of Nazism is futile and is putting her in danger. In addition to his lover, he has a wife, who is a very good woman. His teenage daughter, to the distress of him and his wife, is attracted to Nazism. But they both recognize that if their daughter doesn't openly profess devotion to Nazism, she won’t be safe in post-Anschluss Vienna.

The Turkish Long War Of 1591-1606 With The Habsburg Empire

The Long War or Thirteen Years' War was an indecisive land war between the Habsburg Monarchy and the Ottoman Empire and the client states of Wallachia, Transylvania and Moldavia. It was waged from 1593 to 1606 but in Europe is sometimes called the Fifteen Years War, reckoning from the 1591-92 Turkish campaign that captured Bihać (the Hundred Years' Croatian--Ottoman War is usually counted 1493-1593).
In the series of Ottoman wars in Europe it was the major test of force between Ottoman--Venetian War (1570--73) and the Cretan War (1645--69). The next of the Ottoman-Hapsburg wars was the Great Turkish War of 1683-99.
The major participants of this war were the Habsburg Monarchy, the Principality of Transylvania, Wallachia and Moldavia opposing the Ottoman Empire. Ferrara, Tuscany, Mantua and the Papal State were also involved to a lesser extent.
Skirmishes along the border intensified from 1591. In 1592, the fort of Bihać in what was central Croatia at the time fell to the Ottomans. In the spring of 1593, Ottoman forces from the Eyalet of Bosnia laid siege to the city of Sisak in Croatia, starting the Battle of Sisak which eventually ended in a victory for the Christian forces on June 22, 1593.
The Long War started on July 29, 1593 when the Ottoman army under Sinan Pasha launched a campaign against the Habsburg Monarchy and captured Győr (Turkish: Yanıkkale) and Komarom (Turkish: Komaron).
In 1595, an alliance of Christian European powers was organized by Pope Clement VIII to oppose the Ottoman Empire; a treaty of alliance was signed in Prague by the Holy Roman Emperor, Rudolf II and Sigismund Báthory of Transylvania. Aron Vodă of Moldavia and Michael the Brave of Wallachia joined the alliance later that year.
The Ottoman's objective of the war was to seize Vienna, while the Habsburg Monarchy wanted to recapture the central territories of the Kingdom of Hungary controlled by the Ottoman Empire.
The Balkans during the 17th century
Control over the Danube-line and possession of the fortresses located there was crucial. The war was mainly fought in Royal Hungary (mostly present day western Hungary and southern Slovakia), Transdanubia, Royal Croatia and Slavonia, the Ottoman Empire (Rumelia -- present day Bulgaria and Serbia), and Wallachia (in present-day southern Romania).
In 1595, the Christians captured Győr, Esztergom and Visegrád, strategic fortresses on the Danube, but they did not engage in the siege of the key fortress of Buda. The Ottomans launched a siege of Eger (Turkish: Eğri), conquering it in 1596.
On the eastern front of the war, Michael the Brave, prince of Wallachia, started a campaign against the Ottomans in the autumn of 1594, conquering several castles near the Lower Danube, including Giurgiu, Brăila, Hârşova, and Silistra, while his Moldavian allies defeated the Ottoman armies in Iaşi and other parts of Moldova. Michael continued his attacks deep within the Ottoman Empire, taking the forts of Nicopolis, Ribnic, and Chilia and even reaching as far as Adrianople. At one point his forces were only 24 kilometres (15 mi) from the Ottoman capital, Constantinople.
The conflict continued with the Battle of Călugăreni, considered one of the most important battles between the Ottomans and Wallachians (Romanians). Although the Wallachians emerged victorious from the battle, Michael was forced to retreat with his troops and wait for aid from his allies, Prince Sigismund Báthory of Transylvania and Emperor Rudolf of Austria. The war between Wallachia and the Ottomans continued until late 1599, when Michael was unable to continue the war due to poor support from his allies.
The turning point of the war was the Battle of Mezőkeresztes, which took place in the territory of Hungary on October 24--26, 1596. The combined Habsburg-Transylvanian force of 45--50,000 troops was defeated by the Ottoman army. The battle turned when Christian soldiers, thinking they had won the battle, stopped fighting in order to plunder the Ottoman camp. Despite this victory, the Ottomans realized for the first time the superiority of Western military equipment over Ottoman weapons. This battle was the first significant military encounter in Central-Europe between a large Christian army and the Ottoman Turkish Army after the Battle of Mohács. As a result of the Battle of Mezőkeresztes, the Christians became unable to achieve their strategic objective and the war was reduced to smaller battles and sieges of fortresses, which often changed hands several times.
wn.com/The Turkish Long War Of 1591 1606 With The Habsburg Empire

The Ottoman--Habsburg wars were fought from 16th through 18th century between the Ottoman Empire and the Habsburg (later Austrian) Empire, which was at times supported by the Holy Roman Empire, Kingdom of Hungary and Habsburg Spain. The wars were dominated by land campaigns in Hungary and Croatia.
By the 16th century, the Ottomans had become a serious threat to Europe, with Ottoman Barbary ships sweeping away Venetian possessions in the Aegean and Ionia. The Protestant Reformation, the France--Habsburg rivalry and the numerous civil conflicts of the Holy Roman Empire served as distractions. Meanwhile the Ottomans had to contend with the Persian Safavid Empire and to a lesser extent the Mamluke Sultanate, which was defeated and fully incorporated into the empire.
Initially, Ottoman conquests in Europe made significant gains with a decisive victory at Mohács reducing around one third (central) part of Kingdom of Hungary to the status of an Ottoman tributary. Later, the Peace of Westphalia and the Spanish War of Succession in the 17th and 18th centuries respectively left the Austrian Empire as the sole firm possession of the House of Habsburg. By then, however, European advances in guns and military tactics outweighed the skill and resources of the Ottomans and their elite Janissaries, enabling the Habsburgs to retake Hungary. The Great Turkish War ended with three decisive Holy League victories at Vienna, Mohács and Zenta. The wars came to an end following Austria's disappointing performance in the war of 1787-1791, which Austria fought in alliance with Russia. Intermittent tension between Austria and the Ottoman Empire continued throughout the nineteenth century, but they never again fought each other in a war and ultimately found themselves allied in World War I, in the aftermath of which both empires were dissolved.
The origins of the wars are clouded by the fact that although the Habsburgs were occasionally the Kings of Hungary and Emperors of the Holy Roman Empire (though almost always that of the Holy Roman Empire after the 15th century), the wars between the Hungarians and the Ottomans included other Dynasties as well. Naturally, the Ottoman Wars in Europe attracted support from the West, where the advancing and powerful Islamic state was seen as a threat to Christendom in Europe. The Crusades of Nicopolis and of Varna marked the most determined attempts by Europe to halt the Turkic advance into Central Europe and the Balkans.
For a while the Ottomans were too busy trying to put down Balkan rebels such as Vlad Dracula. However, the defeat of these and other rebellious vassal states opened up Central Europe to Ottoman invasion. The Kingdom of Hungary now bordered the Ottoman Empire and its vassals.
After King Louis II of Hungary was killed at the Battle of Mohács, his widow Queen Mary fled to her brother the Archduke of Austria, Ferdinand I. Ferdinand's claim to the throne of Hungary was further strengthened by the fact that he had married Anne, the sister of King Louis II and the only family member claimant to the throne of the shattered Kingdom. Consequently Ferdinand I was elected King of Bohemia and at the Diet of Pozsony he and his wife were elected King and Queen of Hungary. This clashed with the Turkish objective of placing the puppet John Szapolyai on the throne, thus setting the stage for a conflict between the two powers.
Habsburg advance
Ferdinand I attacked Hungary, a state severely weakened by civil conflict, in 1527, in an attempt to drive out John Szapolyai and enforce his authority there. John was unable to prevent Ferdinand's campaigning which saw the capture of Buda and several other key settlements along the Danube. Despite this, the Ottoman Sultan was slow to react and only came to the aid of his vassal when he launched a huge army of about 120,000 men on 10 May 1529.
The Ottoman Sultan, Suleiman the Magnificent, easily wrestled from Ferdinand most of the gains he had achieved in the previous two years -- to the disappointment of Ferdinand I, only the fortress of Bratislava resisted. Considering the size of Suleiman's army and the devastation wrought upon Hungary in the previous few years it is not surprising that the will to resist one of the world's most powerful states was lacking in many of the recently garrisoned Habsburg settlements.
The Sultan arrived at Vienna on 27 September the same year. Ferdinand's army was some 16,000 strong -- he was outnumbered roughly 7 to 1 and the walls of Vienna were an invitation to Ottoman cannon (6 ft thick along some parts). Nonetheless, Ferdinand defended Vienna with great vigour.

The portrait of Marie Louise of Austria as a Concordia is a marble sculpture (137.3 x 96.5 x 98.4 cm) of Antonio Canova, dating from about 1811 to 1814 and in the National Gallery of Parma. The work portrays Marie Louise of Austria, wife of Napoleon. The commission came to the work Canova in 1810, while he was in Florence for the construction of the Monument to Vittorio Alfieri. The sculptor was immediately called to Paris to agree on the subject and start work. The artist record every stage of the realization in his diaries, which are an important tool for the reconstruction of the events of his life. Just from the diaries we know that after his arrival in Paris, the sculptor began to shape the image of the sovereign, beginning, as usual for Canova, from clay. After approval of the clay model and its realization in chalk (which is still preserved at Gipsoteca Canova Possagno), you decide to run the marble statue of the Empress as a Concordia, in memory of his role of peacemaker between Austria and France. In subsequent years, the job is transferred to the artist atelier in Rome, and in January of 1814, the work is considered finished. From Paris Napoleon asks that he be sent the sculpture immediately, even before having paid the agreed fee but Canova, outraged by the request, decides to hold it in Rome. The statue will be delivered to Maria Luigia only in 1817, after the Congress of Vienna, when the sovereign took possession of the Duchy of Parma, and will be stored for more than thirty years in Colorno. In 1848, Maria Luigia died and his son died, the work was inherited Archduke Leopold who decides to donate it to the city of Parma and to make her place in the National Gallery of Parma, that the same Maria Luigia had set up some year before by Nicola Bettoli and Paolo Toschi. The sovereign is represented as a Concordia and dressed old. She's sitting solemnly enthroned, with the royal diadem, scepter and patera, a small dish of which served the ancient religious ceremonies. The contrast between the face of Marie Louise and the rest of the composition is evident but harmonious: in this work, in fact, it is as if it is a "merger between austere classical nobility and the immediacy of talking portrait, between scholarly inspiration archaeological and affectionate suddenly realistic".

The War of the Austrian Succession involved most of the powers of Europe over the question of Maria Theresa's succession to the realms of the House of Habsburg. The war included King George's War in North America, the War of Jenkins' Ear, the First Carnatic War in India, and the First and Second Silesian Wars.
The war began under the pretext that Maria Theresa was ineligible to succeed to the Habsburg thrones of her father, Charles VI, because Salic law precluded royal inheritance by a woman—though it was commonly thought that the challenge of liability was an excuse put forward by Prussia and France to challenge Habsburg power. Austria was supported by Great Britain and the Dutch Republic, the traditional enemies of France, as well as the Kingdom of Sardinia and the Electorate of Saxony. France and Prussia were allied with the Electorate of Bavaria.

The extraordinary life, work and vision of His Imperial and Royal Highness, Dr. Otto von Habsburg (1912-2011).
Saturday, October 22, 2011 at 2:00 p.m.
722 12th Street, N.W. in downtown Washington, D.C.
A unique link between Europe's past and future, Archduke Otto, until his recent death at age 98, was one of the century's most outstanding statesmen:
* Last crown prince of the Austro-Hungarian Empire
* Son of Blessed Emperor and King Karl of Austria-Hungary
* Head of the House of Habsburg
* Visionary architect and promoter of a united Europe
* Long-time member of the European Parliament
* Author, scholar and noted speaker in multiple languages
I was priviledged to attend a lecture here in Washington a few weeks ago by His Imperial and Royal Highness Archduke Christian of Austria, nephew and close professional colleague of Dr. Otto von Habsburg who shared his first-hand insights on his Uncle's fascinating life. Archduke Christian was very close to his uncle — participating in his first election campaign, assisting him on many official and private trips to almost every continent, and often speaking on his behalf.
Archduke Christian emphasized the principles and spiritual values that consistently guided the life of Archduke Otto, values that were inspired by the example and virtues of his father Emperor Karl and his mother Empress Zita and were reflected in his own long years of public service. His ideas, example, and accomplishments left an indelible imprint on his own times and offered a strong message for the future that people of today need to hear.
Present at Archduke Christian's lecture was his wife, Her Imperial and Royal Highness Archduchess Marie-Astrid of Austria, sister of the current Grand-Duke of Luxembourg

I've taken a look at the remaining achievement and started to plan how we're going to try to get them all. At the moment it will take a minimum of 54 more playthroughs simply because of the number of achievements which require specific nations to be used :(
Let's get a start on it anyway, by playing the diplomatic early game and going for a couple of relatively easy achievements as Austria and then extending to some harder late game achievements:
• Double the Love - Start with no unions and get two at the same time
• One Family to Rule them All - Have your dynasty on 8 thrones at the same time
• The Pen is Mightier than the Sword - Have three unions at the same time as Austria
• Electable! - Become an elector in the HRE as a country which does not start as elector
• Subsidize my Love - Subsidize 3 different allies at least 50% of their monthly income without running a deficit
• Trade Hegemon - Conquer and have cores on Aden, Hormoz and Malacca with any Western European country.
• Guarantor of Peace - Guarantee the Independence of France, The Ottoman Empire and Russia.
If you enjoyed the video even a little bit, please consider clicking like or even subscribing.
