I have tried deleting and re-installing the plugin multiple times, as well as enabling permissions on the ewww folder. I can’t seem to get optipng or gifsicle working. The plugin status section says that they are missing, but they are in the ewww folder as well as the plugin folder.

I don’t really understand what else I can do at this point.

Please turn on debugging, and post the Debugging Information from the EWWW settings page.

If you’re on a linux webhost, it’s entirely possible that the bundled versions of gifsicle and optipng are not compatible with your web server, but I’ll be able to tell you more with the debug log.

I am using iPage to host this site. I believe they are a linux host so this may be moot.

    Here is the debug info:

iPage uses a pretty ancient version of linux on their servers, so gifsicle and optipng do not work on them. If you don’t need them, you can just disable them on the advanced page. Otherwise you could use the EWWW IO API to process PNG and GIF images: https://ewww.io/plans/
