This ancient ocean monster was sent it by billschannel viewer Fernando Ramirez with a note asking, “Bill did you ever hear about the the Helicoprion.”
No, Fernando, I have never heard of the Helicoprion or any animals with teeth I could cut up boards and build a house with - so what I have to know first is -- Is this thing real? Or is it fake?
I did some looking around, and guess what? A few clicks here and there - and I found the answer!
But first, I want to know what you think. I don’t care where you are or what time it is… I want you to yell it out your answer as loud as you can so the whole world knows your decision… so go ahead. Do it now. Real or Fake ?
Alright, Did you freak everybody out? Ok good… because the official answer is…
Real!
Can you believe that?
It turns out Helicoprions were swimming in our oceans 270 million years ago. They don’t exist anymore but yes there is fossil proof they had those crazy teeth. According to scientists, the teeth rotated in a circle just like a table saw and shredded it’s prey into pieces.
I guess this was one case where parents didn’t have to remind the kids to chew all their food… and the great thing is how easy it must have been to brush your teeth.
Anyway, thanks to Fernando for sending me this. I’ve left tons more information in the description box and my webpage if you are interested.

This week I got a very interesting picture in the mail. It shows a two headed turtle.. well baby turtle… but it’s got two heads!
The picture was sent in by Mahin TheMaster and he wants to know if this picture is real? Or if it’s fake?
I checked around at my usual sources and didn’t find very much, so I tried a reverse image look up and got very lucky.
I have the real story right here, but first, you know how this works. You have to yell out your answer first, and then I will tell you weather you got it wrong or not.
So take a look at this one more time and you decide. I mean it looks photoshop to me, but what do I know?
Yell is out loud enough so everyone in the neighborhood knows your answer OK ready? And go!
Alight did you do it. Don’t worry if you got grounded. It just means you are a real member of the Real or Fake patrol - Protecting truth, justice, and the billschannel way.
Ok here we go. And the official answer says, "The picture of the two headed turtle has been thoroughly examined and verified to be a 100% real photo!
This little two headed turtle is the real deal. It was first reported in Forteantimes.com and then picked up on the popular website called Boing Boing way back in 2007!
It was found at a place called Big Al’s Aquarium Supercenter in Pennsylvania and confirmed to be real by Jay Jacobi, the shop's exotic reptile manager.
I want to thank Mahin for sending in this little oddity.

Mothman is a moth-like creature reportedly seen in the Point Pleasant area of West Virginia from 15 November 1966 to 15 December 1967. The first newspaper report was published in the Point Pleasant Register dated 16 November 1966, titled "Couples See Man-Sized Bird...Creature...Something".
Mothman was introduced to a wider audience by Gray Barker in 1970 later popularized by John Keel in his 1975 book The Mothman Prophecies, claiming that Mothman was related to a wide array of supernatural events in the area and the collapse of the Silver Bridge. The 2002 film The Mothman Prophecies, starring Richard Gere, was based on Keel's book.
On November 12, 1966, five men who were digging a grave at a cemetery near Clendenin, WV claimed to see a man-like figure fly low from the trees over their heads.[5] This is often identified as the first known sighting of what became known as the Mothman.
Shortly thereafter, on November 15, 1966, two young couples from Point Pleasant, Roger and Linda Scarberry, and Steve and Mary Mallette told police they saw a large white creature whose eyes "glowed red" when the car headlights picked it up. They described it as a " large flying man with ten-foot wings following their car while they were driving in an area outside of town known as 'the TNT area', the site of a former World War II munitions plant.
During the next few days, other people reported similar sightings. Two volunteer firemen who sighted it said it was a "large bird with red eyes". Mason County Sheriff George Johnson commented that he believed the sightings were due to an unusually large heron he termed a "shitepoke". Contractor Newell Partridge told Johnson that when he aimed a flashlight at a creature in a nearby field its eyes glowed "like bicycle reflectors", and blamed buzzing noises from his television set and the disappearance of his German Shepherd dog on the creature. Wildlife biologist Dr. Robert L. Smith at West Virginia University told reporters that descriptions and sightings all fit the sandhill crane, a large American crane almost as high as a man with a seven foot wingspan featuring circles of reddish coloring around the eyes, and that the bird may have wandered out of its migration route.
There were no Mothman reports in the immediate aftermath of the December 15, 1967 collapse of the Silver Bridge and the death of 46 people, giving rise to legends that the Mothman sightings and the bridge collapse were connected.
Folklorist Jan Harold Brunvand notes that Mothman has been widely covered in the popular press, some claiming sightings connected with UFOs, and others claiming that a military storage site was Mothman's "home". Brunvand notes that recountings of the 1966-67 Mothman reports usually state that at least 100 people saw Mothman with many more "afraid to report their sightings" but observed that written sources for such stories consisted of children's books or sensationalized or undocumented accounts that fail to quote identifiable persons. Brunvand found elements in common among many Mothman reports and much older folk tales, suggesting that something real may have triggered the scares and became woven with existing folklore. He also records anecdotal tales of Mothman supposedly attacking the roofs of parked cars inhabited by teenagers.

Every since I began doing this series Real or Fake, people have been telling me about a fish that likes to bite human testicles. That’s right, a ball biting, monster of a fish from the Amazon known as a Pacu!
But is this really true? Is there a fish who will bite off men’s family jewels, or is this just some Joke. That is the question today.
I decided to start my hunt with a simple google search on Pacu to see what turned up.
It was an avalanche of stories about these testicle eating fish being caught all over the world. From Lake Michigan in the United States to Denmark and even Russia, there was no shortage of stories about people catching this fish. Even River Monster host Jeremy Wade was into it.
Oddly enough, there were no stories of anyone actually losing their gonads to a fish… so I decided to take a closer look at the Pacu itself.
It turns out Pacu are a distant cousin to the Piranha and usually reside in South America’s amazon region. A full-grown pacu are much larger than piranha, reaching up to about 1 meter (3 feet) and 25 kg (55 pounds). But the Pacu doesn’t have the sharp menacing teeth of Piranha - instead it has what look like human molar teeth...
Another huge difference is Pacu. unlike Piranha, are not meat eaters! They are vegetarians!
Well that doesn’t sound much like a hungry monster that wants to eat my nuts?????
I haven’t seen a Pacu in person myself, but I have seen the Morocoto, which is basically the same fish in Venezuela. My friend and Fishing Professional Steve Townsend caught one and showed it to me.
According to Steve, the Pacu is a nut eater, but it eats nuts from trees that grow along the banks of the rivers where the Pacu swim. The Pacu eat those nuts but they don't eat human testicles.

There are a lot of people out there who still think that epic shark know as the Megalodon still lives deep in the ocean somewhere.
In fact, a billschannel regular, Thomas Brown, sent me an news article that claims a 15 ton Megalodon was recently caught off the coast of Pakistan.
Now if this is true, that is truly epic news…. but is this story real? Or is it fake? That’s what Thomas wants to know.
Well Thomas, I did some looking around and all it took was few clicks to find the very first article posted about this. It was first published by World News Daily Report.
In the article, it states local fisherman hooked onto a 10.4 meter (or 34 foot) monster that weighed in at over 13 thousand kilograms or 30,000 pounds.
They thought it was a great white at first, but later decided it had to be something else since the biggest great white ever caught weighed in at only 2200 kilograms or 5000 Lbs
The article goes on to claim "Analysis of the creature suggests it might be a relative of the Megalodon."
OK, there is nobody who wants this story to be real more than me, but I have some very serious doubts about it.
For one, it is published by World News Daily Report - which If you click on the “disclaimer tab’ presents you with this:
"World News Daily Report is a news and political satire web publication... All news articles contained within are fiction, and presumably fake news."
Okay, now if that is not a smoking gun, I don’t know what is…My only hope of anything being true in this article is in that picture. It shows a huge shark. Bigger than anything I have ever seen!
I went over to TinEye and loaded up the picture to see where else it had been posted. A few clicks later, I found the original article the picture came from.
It was a REAL newspaper called The Witness - published in Durban South Africa.
And according to the article it wasn’t a Megalodon, it was a great white shark. ,
eremy Cliff, a shark researcher who works for the South Africa Government, confirmed it was real…
Geremy Cliff, a shark researcher who works for the South African Government, is quoted in the article. He says, the 4,3-meter (or 14 foot) shark was caught in the shark nets off Zinkwazi beach on August 31, 2009. It was dissected and confirmed to be a juvenile female that has not reached full maturity.
Thomas, I think we have reached the end of the road on this one. . Based on all the evidence I can find, the article claiming a megalodon has been caught in Pakistan is nothing but whopper of a fish tale.
(IT'S A FAKE)
And that my friends brings me to the question of the day…
Do you think Megalodons still live in the depths of the ocean somewhere? Or are they an extinct species of shark never to swim the oceans of planet earth ever again. Let me know what your answer is in the comment section below and I will see you next time!

Hey guys bill here… a few of you guys slammed me with a viral video making the rounds on the internet.
The video shows this creepy creature on somebody’s hand. It’s doing some very strange things that are out of this world. It sent in by William Wallace, Kangsour Lim and Geza Konkoly.
But is there any chance this thing could be real? Or is it just another computer cheat to freak us out? Why don’t we see if we can figure this out.
I did some looking around on the internet but couldn’t find much, so I posted it on my Facebook to see if anyone there knew what it was!
Adanjose Alegre was the first of many to let me know that… guess what? it’s real! Can you believe that?
And like Spiderman, it spits out a sticky mucus. In this case its to to grab it’s prey and then turns itself inside out, around the prey to devour it…
Wow! That’s pretty amazing, I think I once had a girlfriend, no better not go there. But one thing I can say is I left more information and links about this creature in the description box below.
And Hey kids, if you come across any pictures or videos and you can’t quite tell if they are real or not, send them over to billschnnel @ gmail dot com!
I’ll see you next time.

The amazon is filled with all kinds of river monsters and we all know the Piranha is the most famous. But one of the biggest river monsters in the Amazon, and one of my favorites, is the one they call the Arapaima.
Arapaima are these long sleek looking fish that can grow up to 2 and half meters ( or around 8 feet). The record weight this monster is 200 KG or about 440 LBs, but on average they are about half that.
Arapaima are considered to be an ancient fish - scientists estimate they are descendants of fish that date back more than 250 million years.
One of the reasons I think they’ve been so successful at survival are these amazing armor-like scales that cover their body. These scales are super light, but so strong, not even Piranha can bite through them.
Today I’m with my my friend and pro fisherman Steve Townson, sometimes called the fish finder. We’re deep in the Amazon where we hope to catch one of these monsters for a close up and personal encounter…
STEVE: What we’re going to do is paddle up there where there is a lake, see if we can pick up an Arapaima or two…
As it turns out, Arapaima prefer Lakes & small creeks to Rivers…
STEVE: They prefer this, they like a nice quiet life… protect themselves from Predators because they are really easy to catch.
One of the other reasons Arapaima are easy to catch is because they are air breathers.
Steve: Because they come up - gulp air and go down. So you cast out in front of them and bang!
It all sounded like we could get this done quick, but no sooner did we get to the lake, than it started to rain and lightening. That’s not good when you are in aluminum boat… we had to take cover…
But like I always say, at BillsChannel, when the going gets tough, the tough reach for the cooler.
It was too dangerous for us to stay out on the open lake, so Steve decided to explore a small creek.
It wasn’t easy going, but the rain stopped, and gave Steve a better chance of spotting an Arapaima coming up for air.
A few bubbles appeared next to his float. That’s when Steve knew he had come to the right place.
Steve: I knew he was here…
Arapaima are gentle creatures but they can be very dangerous…. Steve and his guide have to be very careful… they can launch at you and inflict some serious damage.
Once we got the thing up close you could see the spectacular scales the Arapaima armors itself with. I can see why scientists are studying the scales to see how something so thin can be so strong.

Hey Guys Bill Here… lately I’ve been receiving a lot of what I like to call Giant Creepy Crawler videos, but the one that gets submitted the most is this one..It’s called Alien Spider Creature Caught on video In Russia Climbing On Building - and this thing has a lot of people scratching their heads

The video shows a spidery creature thing crawling over this building that we are told is in Russia.
Now the list of people who submitted this is too long to mention here so I will make a list in the comment section below. But what each and every one of these viewers want to know is — Is this video real? Or is it big four legged fake….lets get out the bug spray and find out.
I did some looking around on my own and it turns out the very first version appeared on a Youtube Channel called DimanOperator and from there it went to another Youtube channel called 247newsvideos. Since then dozens of other copies of the video have been posted around the internet.
Unfortunately, none of my usual hoax busting websites have looked at this particular video -- so there isn’t a lot to go on folks - but hey, like I always say, when the going get
s tough here at billschannel… I call the A team!
In this case, Mikey Borup from youtube channel Long Live Mikey. Mikey is a leading expert in computer special effects.
MIKEY: This one was hard for me to figure out. Because they did everything right… it’s an overcast day etc…
BILL: OK what Mikey is talking about is a technical thing… When we see a moving image, it’s actually a collection of still images that go by so fast, it tricks our mind into thinking there is real motion there…
Now, the cameras I use take about 30 pictures in one second to make things work right… but what if my camera makes a mistake and only takes 28 pictures in one second.
If we’re just looking at a normal video, it’s not really a problem, but if we’re making a video like this one - it can be a really big problem!
Let me show you how.
Let’s say we’re making this fake video and the creature is is recorded this many frames in one second. We want to place it over our recording of the building, but the camera recording the building makes a mistake and only shoots this many frames in 1 second… We don’t have enough frames! See the problem?
Alright so this happens a lot more than you think so video editing software does a neat little trick to fix the problem.
What the software does to fix this problem is just make copies of this last frame to make up the difference. But it’s the same picture over and over so nothing moves. It’s like a freeze frame.
It’s a pretty cool trick unless you’re trying to make a fake! Because when Mikey looks at it, he can now see the video of the creature and the video of the building are two different videos… and I think you know what that means. It's a fake.
Ok so there you have it. I hope that answers your question people… I want to thank Mikey for taking the time to look at this… and if you guys ever want to learn more about doing computer effects head over to his youtube channel.

Hey guys Bill here… a whole bunch of you have been sending me a video clip that claims to show a living megalodon.
It’s not a very long clip, but it does show a huge, monster of a fish swimming by the camera view.
The clip was sent in by viewers like enrique myhre, Charlie Duckworth, Dylan Kulp, Graham Tassie, Ramiro Angel and Maggie Sealake ( just to name a few)
Now as you might expect, what all these curious people want to know is… It is real? Or is another video hoax just trying to get our attention?
I couldn’t find anything from all my usual sources - So I started looking at the video itself. It was published in November of 2014 by a channel called DMC VIDS… The title claims it is a Megalodon caught on tape in Canada. But look at this. Here is the exact same video published 2 months earlier. In this one, it just says it is a giant shark and asks if it might be a megalodon.???
Hmmm. Thats a little suspicious… but that doesn’t mean it isn’t a megalodon… I think what we need to do is check in with the billschannel “A” team… In this case Dr. Simon Pierce from Marine Megafauna foundation. Simon is leading world expert in whale sharks - the largest living fish in the world.
Now I have the official answer right here, but first, I want you to let it be known what your answer is. This time it’s ok to whisper if you want. We’ll give the rest of the family a break… but you still have to say it… You ready? And go.
Ok, hopefullu everyone is on record with their answer so I can now reveal the official answer based on Simon’s examination of the evidence. And here we go…
The video showing a very large ocean creature has been examined. Based on this examination, the claim that the video shows a megalodon has been determined to be… Are you ready for this? Fake… Oh no that means one more megalodon claim goes down the drain.
According to Simon, what we are looking at is nothing more than a basking shark. The basking shark is the second biggest living fish ( next to the whale shark)... It can grow up to over 12 Meters or about 40 feet. and weigh up to 18 Metric tonnes.
And if you do a search for basking sharks on youtube, guess what? You will find dozens of videos that look just like this one…
I’m kinda happy, you know why?
OK… I want to thank everyone who submitted this video to me and remember, if you have a picture or a video and you are not sure whether it is real or not… send it over to me at billschannel@gmail.com and I will check it out.

A lot of you guys have been sending me pictures of giant skeletons lately.
Bills channel viewers like Jack Garbutt, Vidal Figueroa, Amar Taha, and Brandon Rhodes have all alerted me to these photos. Most of them show ancient giants being dug up by scientists all over the world.
But are these pictures real? Or are they fake. That’s what everyone seems to be asking!
The first thing I did, was just do a general search to see how much of this stuff is out there. It wasn’t a truck load, but then it wasn’t just one or two.
Now I can’t really tell you whether all of them are fake or real. I can only go with specific pictures one at a time, otherwise I would be just giving you an opinion.
First off, let’s just take a look at this picture. This claims to be a photo of an ancient giant that was dug up by the National Geographic Society in India. It was reported in the Hindu Voice Newspaper as real, but it is it?
I have the answer right here… so what do you think? Write it down on a piece of paper right now so you can’t lie about it later!
Ok here we go. The picture reported in the Indian newspaper as a giant skeleton dug up but the National Geographic Society is… A fake.
Shocking… but what I love is the story behind this one.
When national geographic got wind of this story, not only did they deny it, but they put their researchers on it and got to the bottom of it. Then they published a big article about how they were the victim of a hoax ( it’s not nice to fool Nat Geo).
In their article, Nat Geo traced the photo back to a photoshop contest on a website called worth1000.com. The goal was to come up with the best fake pictures of “Archaeological Anomalies.”
this picture, called Giants was created by a photoshop artist using the handle, Ironkite, and it won 3 place in the contest.
Ironkite wouldn’t tell Natgeo his real name but he did reveal the secrets of how he created the fake picture.
He first started out with ta real picture like this of a mastodon excavation in the United States… He then digitally superimposed a human skeleton over the beast’s remains.
After that, he added a man digging….
Now if you look very closely, Ironkite had some problem with the shovel here, so he had to remove part of it. In the end the guy just ends up holding a stick.
I guess all the newspapers that published the photo didn’t look close enough to notice that.
Ok, so that is all the time I have for this video. I know there are dozens more of these photos out there… so send me your favorites to bills channel@gmail.com and maybe I’ll investigate a few more!

Hey Guys, Bill Here. I came across this video the other day that claims to show a woman being attacked by a great White shark.... it's a home video that looks like it was shot on someone's cell phone...
It shows people from a research boat swimming in the ocean and enjoying themselves until suddenly, we hear screams. We are then shown a brief glimpse of a Shark next to a young woman. The camera goes blurry at this point, and we hear people saying the shark bit the woman's leg off.
The whole thing looks real. But is it? Is it Fake or is it Real?
Well, I looked around and couldn't find anything on Snopes.com about this story, but as it turns out, both The Discovery Channel and the BBC have produced stories that claim the video shows a real life shark attack on a young woman named Heather Boswell. Heather appears in both documentaries to tell her story. She is also recorded in a Associated press article claiming to have lost a leg to a great white shark.
Based on this, I am judging the video to be real!
The shark actually bit Heather twice- once on the lower right leg, and then again on the upper right... before her friends in the rubber boat could save her, the right leg was gone...
FYI
The great white shark, Carcharodon carcharias, also known as the great white, white pointer, white shark, or white death, is a species of large lamniform shark which can be found in the coastal surface waters of all the major oceans. The great white shark is mainly known for its size, with the largest individuals known to have approached or exceeded 6 m (20 ft) in length, and 2,268 kg (5,000 lb) in weight. This shark reaches its maturity around 15 years of age and can have a life span of over 30 years.
The great white shark is arguably the world's largest known extant macropredatory fish, and is one of the primary predators of marine mammals. It is also known to prey upon a variety of other marine animals, including fish and seabirds. It is the only known surviving species of its genus Carcharodon, and is ranked first in having the most attacks on humans. The IUCN list the great white shark as a vulnerable species, while it is included in Appendix II of CITES.
The bestselling novel Jaws by Peter Benchley and the subsequent blockbuster film by Steven Spielberg depicted the great white shark as a "ferocious man eater". In reality, humans are not the preferred prey of the great white shark.

Hey Guys Bill Here. Did you hear the one about the Mermaid that was caught on tape in the Philippines? I did, thanks to bills channel viewers like Nancy Gould, Judah Yahuda, Mark Pogoy and PinkNT Animations
The video, recorded at a resort in General Santos City, claims to show a mermaid swimming in the waters just off shore. But is this video real, or is it fake? Why don’t we look under the gills and see what we can find out.
There wasn’t much about this video posted by my usual sources like snopes and hoax busters, but thanks to Philippine based GMA news and reporter Jessica Soho, I was able to get the facts.
It was recorded on a phone by a woman named Jovelyn Balinas who was there on a family vacation. Jocelyn uploaded the video and claimed it showed a mermaid, but reporter Jessica Soho dug into the situation and found the answer.
And that answer I have right here. But before I open it up, I want you to let the whole world know what you think.
Just yell out your answer as loud as you can right now… Real or Fake. ready. Go.
Did you do it? Ok. So lets open this up and see the verdict… . And here we go.
The video claiming to show a mermaid, swimming in the waters off a resort beach in Gen Santos philippines is… a 100%, salt water, whale of a tale, FAKE.
Thanks to Jessica’s great work, a second video of the scene was found. It was shot by the staff at the resort. It showed a side angle of the creature - And the staff confirmed it was not a mermaid, but rather a sea creature called a dugong.
Dugongs are medium sized marine mammals, kinda like sea cows and manatees. They live in a wide range of Ocean. including the waters of the Philippines. They can be pretty big and live up to 70 years, but are not dangerous to humans at all.
Dugongs have a long tradition of being mis-identified as Mermaids. In a news report from Australia, Mermaid Model Hannah Frazer explained why…
Hannah: the top half of a dugong can resemble the top half of a curvaceous female….
OK, so there you have it — another Mermaid sighting hits the dust. But hey, I still have an open mind. If you have any information on real mermaid sightings send it to bills channel@gmail.com and I will see you next time!

Hey guys, Bill here… I’ve seen some really ugly creatures doing this real or fake series… but nothing I have seen, has prepared me for this…
It was sent in by Mark Chipper from Latvia and shows this thing that looks like a halloween mask based on the Alien character from Ridley Scott’s epic movie.
Now here’s the thing… The article that goes with the photo claims it is showing a fish… that’s right - a fish! But is there anyway this could really be rea? Or, are we looking at another big fat ocean going fake. That’s what Mark wants to know.
To me the answer is pretty obvious, but we don’t just give you answers here. What we try to do is find the proof. And that is where the fun is.
I used google translate to convert the article Latvian into english and then combed it for any details that could be used for further inquiry.
What I found, led me to this - the official answer - right here. Now, I’m going to open this up in just a second but first… there is just a little something you need to do.
No matter where you are, who you are with, or what time it is, I want you to yell out your answer as loud as you can -- either real.. or fake… That way you’re letting people know you are part of the movement.
Ok you ready? And go!
Ok did you do it… great…Hopefully you didn’t wake up too many people in the middle of the night. If they complain, just remind them you are part of the “real or fake” patrol providing an important public service.
And now... here is the official answer. And I quote. l
It’s called a dragon fish. It can be found in at depths down to 2,000 metres (6,600 ft). This one was caught in the Faroe Islands by commercial fishermen.
Now, Females can grow up to 40 centimetres (16 in) but the males only grow to aboout 5 centimetres or (2.0 in).
If you want to see one of these things in living color, The Monterey Bay Aquarium Research Institute has a video just for you. This one is a slightly different version, but pretty much the same fish. Here's the link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dFhoIu4VKms
I want to thank Mark Chipper for bringing this to my attention -- and if you have and remember, if you have a picture of videos and you’re not quite sure if it is real or not, send it to me at billschannel@gmail.com and I will look into it.

I think everybody has seen a goldfish… You know those cute little fish people keep in homes or in ponds. They can get pretty big… but how about, this big?
This picture was sent in by CoolCreeperDude and Szymon Slek from Poland. It shows a guy holding what claims to be giant goldfish.
Szymon said “My friend found this on the internet and claims it really is a giant goldfish. I only want to know if this picture is Real or something really fishy!”
The first thing I noticed, there are tons of goldfish pictures out there on the internet. So many, it was to take a real pro to get the bottom of it. So, I turned to one of the best researchers I know, Steve from youtube channel experi-mental.
Steve ripped though this one in no time flat and came up with the original pictures that were posted on a facebook page.
The page was owned by a guy named Raphael Biagini. Raphael obviously is a real guy and catches lots of big fish but in the middle of all these - was the picture we are examining - and another one just like it. They were captioned, Giant Goldfish!
According to my own research, goldfish come from the carp family of fish, so maybe what we are looking at is just a big carp that happens to be gold.
This is a tough one, but I have the answer and it’s right here, but first I want to hear what you think first. I don’t care what time it is or where you are. Just yell out, as loud as you can, either real or fake right now!
Ok, you got it? Go!
RESULTS
The two pictures showing raphael with a large golden fish are authentic. But the claim that the fish is an unusually large goldfish has been determined to be.. relatively…. true!
As it turns out, the small goldfish we know from millions of fish bowls and this giant in the picture both come from the same species of carp. What happened was this: Thousands of years ago, the Chinese began to domesticate these fish for food and ornamentation. Over the years, scientists started classifying the smaller goldfish into one group and this larger one into another, but genetically speaking, they are both relatively the same fish.
Ok, I think that one is true on a technical knock out but either way, that was an amazing catch!

In this video sent to me by Liv and Maddie, these teen girls have a very scary experience using the board.
The Ouija board is also called the "Spirit Board" for it’s ability to pull in messages from other realms. There are many example of Ouija Board gone wrong and Ouija Board Experiences scaring people. But is all this a hoax or is it real? Is there really such a thing as Ouija Board demonic possession? Please leave your opinion in the comment section below.
I did a little research on these things and learned there are many scientists who claim Ouija boards are a hoax… but I also was surprised to learn one of the largest religious institutions on the planet believe Ouija boards have powers are real. The catholic church has publicly stated it believes the use of Ouija boards can lead to demonic possession.
And that leads me to the question of the day. Do you think Ouiji boards have supernatural powers, or are they just tricky board game hoax. Let me know what your opinion is in the comment section below. And I’ll see you next time.

It’s a video showing a bunch of goats hanging out in a tree. The video was send in by emilio ramlochan from Trinidad with a very simple question.
Is this video for real? Or is this another computer generated fake?
Well Emilio, why don’t we just pull off the bark on this one and see what we can find out.
The video that Emilio watched was published by Scarlett Owen on Youtube and called Goats Climbing on Argon Trees in Morocco, Goats really climb trees?
On the surface, it looked realistic enough, but the channel itself seemed a bit fishy. There were very few videos posted there and this often a sign of people creating fakes and using made up Youtube channels to cover up their real identity. One of the more notorius for doing this is DimanOperator, whose videos we’ve covered right here on billschannel.
On a hunch, I looked for any connection I could find between this channel and known video effects specialists, and that is what let me to this…. the official answer.
but before I open this envelope, I need to hear your answer first. That is how it works here. What I want you to do is yell out your answer loud and clear, either real or fake… and if you can’t do that because it’s late at night or something… just pause the video and write your answer in the comment section. Then come back here and watch the video… ok you got it? And Go.
Ok, now that we got that out of the way, we can get to the official answer right here, and it says…
The video showing a tree full of goats has been thoroughly examined and determined to be, an unaltered, bonified, grade a…. fffffff real video… with no signs of any fakery what so ever.
As it turns out the video was originally recorded by Michael Chinnici who runs a photo travel adventure on Youtube. I’ve put a link in the description box so you can watch the whole video and sign up for one of his tours.
Now, the reason why the goats are up in the trees is harvest the nuts grown on Argan trees in Morocco. Argan nuts provide Argan oil which is popular in personal care products such as shampoo as well as some culinary products like cooking oil and pancake syrup.
The trees where the argan grow are very thorny so farmers don’t try to get the nuts themselves. Instead they send the goats up to eat the nuts. But since the goats can’t digest the nuts, they poop them out, and the farmers collect them from the goat do do…
Mmm, that just makes me hungry… what about you?
Ok, well that is all the time for this video. I want to thanks Emilio for sending that video in… and remember, if you have a picture or some video and you aren’t sure whether it is real or not, send it to me at billschannel@gmai.com and I will take a look. See you next time!
