I think every build should start with a good plan. You need to figure out what it is you want to accomplish before you start paying out your hard earned money on a vehicle build. In this video I talk about my plans for my 1979 Ford Fairmont. For those of you not familiar, this is a Fox body vehicle which is the same chassis as the Ford Mustang from 1978-1992. That means that most of the parts that fit a Mustang of that vintage, fit this car. I'm not the first person to think of this, but I hope to put my own unique spin on this build to make it my own. I think you'll enjoy what I have in store for the Fairmont. If nothing else, it will make for a bunch of new and interesting videos this season. I can't wait to get started. I had a GREAT time at the drag strip with my 1979 Fairmont. True, it isn't fast, but that's not the point. The point is that it ran great and consistent. In some racing classes, that's all you really need. Still, it would be nice to get a little more power out of it. That is the plan after all. At least now we know what Oliver can do out of the box. Now it's up to me to 'make it better'. No matter what, I love this car. I'm having a lot of fun with it. I hope you're not getting sick of the videos yet because I love making them.
