Gautami

Gautami is an Indian film actress whose main contribution to Tamil films,she even appeared successful films in Telugu, Malayalam, Hindi and Kannada cinema. She is also a television actress, television host and known costume designer.

Film career

Gautami was born in Nidadavole West Godavari District of Andhra Pradesh. She made her first appearance at the age of 17 in the Telugu film Dayamayudu, that was produced by her cousin. She was introduced to Tamil films through Guru Shishyan, a film that starred Rajinikanth and Prabhu. She was most active in Tamil cinema from 1987 to 1998 and was a tough competitor to the other heroines of her time, Kushboo and Bhanupriya. Her filmography includes classics like Apoorva Sagodharargal, Raja Chinna Roja, Thevar Magan, Panakkaran, Guru Sishyan, Ooru Vittu Ooru Vanthu, Dharma Durai, Rickshaw Mama as well as Mani Ratnam's Iruvar (1997), which co-starred Mohanlal, Prakash Raj, Aishwarya Rai, Tabu, Nassar and Revathi.

She has acted almost with all the Tamil heroes of her time that includes Rajinikanth, Kamalhassan, Vijayakanth, Prabhu Ganesan, Karthik, Arjun Sarja, Arvind Swamy, Murali, Ramki, Rahman, Sarath Kumar whereas most movies with Sathyaraj and Ramarajan.

Early life

Gauthami Nair was born to Madhu Nair and Sobha on 13 November 1991 on Alleppey. She has an elder sister Gayathri.

She left her studies mid-way to pursue a career in films but in 2012, she enrolled herself for a course in psychology at the Government College for Women, Thiruvananthapuram.

Career

She started her acting career by starring in the Malayalam film Second Show. Her second film was Diamond Necklace in Malayalam in which she starred with Fahadh Faasil and Samvrutha Sunil as a nurse. Her role as a Tamil girland the charisma with which she carried herself around even when everything around her was collapsing in the film was very much appreciated. Her next Malayalam film Chapters was also well received.

Srinath Rajendran

Srinath Rajendran (Malayalam: ശ്രീനാഥ് രാജേന്ദ്രൻ) is a Malayalam film director. His debut movie was Second Show (2012). His next film Koothara was released in June 2014. He and his family are settled in a town called Beypore in the Kozhikode district of Kerala.

Srinath is born to Rajendra Nathan & Meera in Calicut. He is an alumnus of Calicut University Institute of Engineering and Technology where he graduated in Electronics Engineering in 2006.Further he went to Asian Academy of Film & Television in Noida. His elder brother Srinidhi Rajendran works as an engineer in Mphasis.

Kamal Haasan

Kamal Haasan (born 7 November 1954) is an Indian film actor, screenwriter, director, producer, playback singer, choreographer, lyricist, philanthropist and dancer who works primarily in the Tamil film industry. Haasan has won several Indian film awards including four National Film Awards and 19 Filmfare Awards. With seven submissions, Kamal Haasan has starred in the highest number of films submitted by India for the Academy Award Best Foreign Language Film. Haasan's production company, Rajkamal International, has produced several of his films. Kamal Haasan received the Kalaimamani Award in 1979, the Padma Shri Award in 1990 and the Padma Bhushan Award in 2014.

After several projects as a child, Haasan's breakthrough as a lead actor came in the 1975 drama Apoorva Raagangal, in which he played a rebellious youth in love with an older woman. He won his first National Film Award for his portrayal of a guileless schoolteacher who cares for a childlike amnesiac in Moondram Pirai (1983). Haasan was noted for his performances in Mani Ratnam's crime film Nayagan (1987), rated by Time magazine as one of the best films in cinema history as well as Shankar's vigilante film Indian (1996) which saw him playing dual roles of a father and a son. Since then he has appeared in a number of films including Hey Ram (2000), Virumaandi (2004), Vishwaroopam (2013) which were his own productions and Dasavathaaram (2008) in which he played ten different roles.
