Canadian War Museum Canada's national museum of military history. Chaudière Falls A set of cascades and waterfall in the centre of the Ottawa-Gatineau metropolitan area where the Ottawa River narrows between a rocky escarpment on both sides of the river. About 60 metres (200 ft) wide and drop 15 metres (49 ft). 09. Notre-Dame Cathedral Basilica A Minor basilica. Designated a National Historic Site of Canada in 1990. Originally home to the small wooden St. Jacques Church built in 1832. 10. Calypso Park A theme waterpark located in Limoges. Opened to the public on June 7, 2010. Is on a 450 acres (1.8 km2; 0.70 sq mi) site. Canada’s largest waterpark. Calypso Palace is a 52,000-square-foot (4,800 m2) concrete pool, one of the largest in North America.
