    Many sites across western WA have received almost quadruple their monthly average rainfall in just the last week alone! Falls have been very isolated with some sites receiving record rainfalls, while others only a few km away have had nothing.

    Temperatures in east Antarctic more than 30°C above normal. Vostok base (3500m high at 78°S) reached -17.7°C, beating its old March maximum temperature record (-32.6°C) by 15°C.
