Rebecca Moore (born May 21, 1968 in New York City) is an American musician, actress and animal rights activist. Notable for her participation at a very young age in performance art and experimental theater productions()(), and for her own music, she is also known to some as a muse of the singer Jeff Buckley. She is the daughter of Peter Moore, a photographer of experimental art and artists in NYC (from the 1950s through his death in 1993) and his wife, Barbara, an art historian. After slightly over two decades of work devoted to experimental art, music and activist realms in NYC (1984-2007) Moore went to work in areas of animal rescue & care and animal rights advocacy.
Rebecca (also spelled Rebekah) (Hebrew: רִבְקָה, Modern Rivká, Tiberian Riḇqā ISO 259-3 Ribqa,(AssyrianːܪܲܦܩܵܐːRapqa) from the Hebrew ribhqeh (lit., "connection"), from Semitic root r-b-q, "to tie, couple or join", "to secure", or "to snare") appears in the Hebrew Bible as the wife of Isaac and the mother of Jacob and Esau. Rebecca and Isaac were one of the four couples believed to be buried in the Cave of the Patriarchs, the other three being Adam and Eve, Abraham and Sarah, and Jacob and Leah.
The news of her birth was told to her uncle Abraham before Akeidat Yitzchak (the Binding of Isaac), the episode in which Abraham was told by God to bring Isaac as a sacrifice on a mountain.
Many years after the Binding of Isaac, Sarah, Abraham's wife, died. After taking care of her burial, Abraham went about finding a wife for his son Isaac, who was already 37 years old. He commanded his servant (whom the Torah commentators identify as Eliezer of Damascus) to journey to his birthplace of Aram Naharaim to select a bride from his own family, rather than engage Isaac to a local Canaanite girl. Abraham sent along expensive jewelry, clothing and dainties as gifts to the bride and her family. If the girl had refused to follow him, Abraham stated that Eliezer would be absolved of his responsibility.
New York is a state in the Northeastern United States and is the United States' 27th-most extensive, fourth-most populous, and seventh-most densely populated state. New York is bordered by New Jersey and Pennsylvania to the south and Connecticut, Massachusetts, and Vermont to the east. The state has a maritime border in the Atlantic Ocean with Rhode Island, east of Long Island, as well as an international border with the Canadian provinces of Quebec to the north and Ontario to the west and north. The state of New York, with an estimated 19.8 million residents in 2015, is often referred to as New York State to distinguish it from New York City, the state's most populous city and its economic hub.
With an estimated population of nearly 8.5 million in 2014, New York City is the most populous city in the United States and the premier gateway for legal immigration to the United States. The New York City Metropolitan Area is one of the most populous urban agglomerations in the world. New York City is a global city, exerting a significant impact upon commerce, finance, media, art, fashion, research, technology, education, and entertainment, its fast pace defining the term New York minute. The home of the United Nations Headquarters, New York City is an important center for international diplomacy and has been described as the cultural and financial capital of the world, as well as the world's most economically powerful city. New York City makes up over 40% of the population of New York State. Two-thirds of the state's population lives in the New York City Metropolitan Area, and nearly 40% live on Long Island. Both the state and New York City were named for the 17th century Duke of York, future King James II of England. The next four most populous cities in the state are Buffalo, Rochester, Yonkers, and Syracuse, while the state capital is Albany.
(Le) Poisson Rouge (often referred to as LPR) is a music venue and multimedia art cabaret in New York City founded in 2008 by Justin Kantor and David Handler on the former site of The Village Gate. The performance space was designed and engineered by John Storyk/WSDG. It has become a known venue for its focus on artistry, bring contemporary classical music into the club setting, and offering a variety of set ups so that a seated classical performance can be followed by a standing set by a rock band or a DJ. Responding to a performance of Olivier Messiaen's Quartet for the End of Time featuring pianist Bruce Brubaker at LPR, the Wall Street Journal reported: "The crowd -- many of whom wouldn't even have known who Messiaen was -- sat in rapt silence, and roared their approval at the end."
Kantor and Handler, both graduates of Manhattan School of Music, founded LPR with the stated desire of creating a venue that would foster the fusion of "popular and art cultures" in music, film, theater, dance, and fine art.

Plot: Life on the wild side sometimes has its own way in regulating or instigating consciousness awakening on its most devoted disciple. Bobby Delgado, undefeated MMA World Champion (of an elusive and clandestine underworld tournament of Mixed Martial Arts) is incarcerated for eight years after accidentally killing his opponent. During this period of purgatory, Bobby experiences a paranormal 'life changing' event that will dictate his future path to redemption. Infuriated by the financial loss and the death of his master fighter, Jarvis Sweet swears vengeance on Delgado and finds himself a new hitter in the form of Wade Bull, a vicious ex underworld enforcer with killing skills few men can match. Sweet and Mafia boss kingpin Sal Civelo, formulate a ruthless and provocative campaign aimed at putting Delgado back into the pit. As pressure builds and danger closes in, Bobby has to concoct a subtle mind game to confront his nemesis in an environment that he can control. What follows is a brutal and bloody confrontation for survival. There will be no rules and no mercy in this new game of death and all scores will be settled in 'Among Dead Men'.

In 2008, the fight for land preservation of the Suruí people won an important and unusual ally: Google. Chief Almir Surui, the tribe's leader, and Rebecca Moore, Director of Google Earth Outreach, signed a cooperation agreement in which the indigenous people receive equipment and training so that they can share part of their history and their knowledge on the web. This marked a milestone, in which networked communication technologies began to be part of strengthening traditional cultural identities. Rebecca's personal work using Google Earth was instrumental in stopping the logging of more than a thousand acres of redwoods in her Santa Cruz Mountain community. Rebecca also initiated and leads the development of Google Earth Engine, a new technology platform that supports global-scale data-...

Round 2 of the Original LP Band Comp 2014 Introducing Rebecca Moore
Rebecca More is on a mission to give away as much nookie to her fans as possible. Channel X, an adult film channel based in the UK, hired a lorry and swapped the trailer for a mobile sexatorium in the back so that the buxom middle-aged mistress could take the show on the road. Her raunchy road trip is making stops all over Britain, and everywhere people are anxious to cash in their lucky nookie coupons. Because it’s a competition, not everyone will have a chance to bed the vivacious MILF on television. Only 20 frisky winners will make the cut to get it on with her on TV; however, she’s breaking off random fans some of her meatpie, just because. More conservative members of British society along with right-leaning MPs are outraged, saying the traveling trailer trysts are ruining the imag...
