The Thames Valley Golf Course is situated along the Thames River just 10 minutes from downtown London. Established in 1924, the 18 hole Classic Course features natural topography of the land, pleasant and picturesque elevation changes, large mature tree lined fairways, and tricky undulating greens. The experience is extraordinary!
The 9 hole Hickory Course has a mixture of par fours and threes with wider fairways and shorter holes making it an easier walk for beginners, seniors and children.
The clubhouse is situated overlooking the 18th green and the Thames River and is the perfect spot to enjoy food or beverage in the clubhouse or on the patio after your round. The newly renovated pro shop has all your golfing needs including the latest merchandise, power carts, rental clubs, repairs and lessons from CPGA professionals.
With Thames Valley Golf Course being one of the busiest courses in London, tee times are strongly advised and accepted on line, by phone or in person.

Travel video about destination London in England.
London is an exciting and pulsating metropolis of the new millennium, a melting pot of both people and culture and a fascinating city of diverse contrasts.
The City Of London contains the Tower, an historic landmark with a remarkable history. A mighty medieval fortress with 13 towers that throughout its 900 years, has served many functions and from the Middle Ages, it was a heavily fortified prison.
After the medieval St. Paul's Cathedral was destroyed by a devastating fire in 1666, Christopher Wren was ordered to re-build it with a dome. During the 36 years of its construction, its design was frequently altered until finally a wonderful masterpiece of church architecture was created.
The Monument is the city's tallest freestanding stone column and a reminder of the Great Fire of London that destroyed 80 percent of the city. In four days, more than 13,000 buildings were destroyed and the Monument was built on the site of the bakery in which the fire began.
Since the reign of Queen Victoria, Buckingham Palace has served as London's royal residence. A garden of mulberry trees once grew on the site of today's palace and the Duke of Buckingham subsequently added a simple brick built residence. Around 60 years later, George II purchased the site for his wife and George IV eventually began to design an extensive palace complex.
The highlight of any holiday in London must be the largest Ferris wheel in the world, the London Eye. Situated on the banks of the Thames, it rises high into the sky, opposite the Houses of Parliament and Big Ben.
The former centre of the largest empire in the world, London is still a city of superlatives that attracts millions of visitors each year. Exciting both day and night, London is a modern city with age old traditions and a long and colorful history.

A trip to London might as well be a trip through history. This city has long been a hub for finance, education, and culture, and is full of modern construction mixed with ancient buildings.
Your London tour must include St. Paul’s Cathedral, one of its most well-known churches. You’ll also want to see the Tower of London, the Palace of Westminster, and Westminster Abbey for exquisite examples of the city’s famous architectural landmarks. Walk or jog through numerous green spaces, among them Hyde Park and Green Park, in the center of London.
Continue your London sightseeing in the West End, where you’ll find ancient buildings converted into modern shops, restaurants, bars, and shows. You’ll find one of the largest theatre districts in the world here, and can take in a different play almost every night of the week.
For a real treat, climb aboard the London Eye, a giant, rotating Ferris wheel, and see the old and new parts of the city all at once.

STORYLINE:
With security on high alert at London's airports due to a terrorist threat, police evacuated a terminal at Heathrow on Friday because of a suspect bag.
The alert was lifted within 90 minutes at Terminal 2, which mostly serves European destinations, but passengers still experienced delays and missed flights.
Earlier on Friday, Thames Valley Police said they had arrested four suspects in Langley, eight kilometers (five miles) northwest of Heathrow airport.
Police did not say whether the arrests were connected to the terror threat officials say is facing London, or whether any weapons were seized.
Nine people have been arrested near British airports this week as police and soldiers step up security amid fears of an attack on a plane.
Meanwhile radical Moslem cleric Sheikh Abu Hamza sought to assure Britons that they weren't terrorist targets.
Speaking outside the London mosque from which he's been banned, the controversial cleric, accused the media and the British government of exaggerating the threat of terror attacks in the UK in order to justify any war against Iraq.
Hamza made the comments after leading prayers in the street outside Finsbury Park mosque, which has been closed since police raided it in January.

London is the capital city of England and the United Kingdom. It is the most populous city in the United Kingdom, with a metropolitan area of over 13 million inhabitants. Standing on the River Thames, London has been a major settlement for two millennia, its history going back to its founding by the Romans, who named it Londinium. London's ancient core, the City of London, largely retains its 1.12-square-mile (2.9 km2) mediaeval boundaries and in 2011 had a resident population of 7,375, making it the smallest city in England. Since at least the 19th century, the term London has also referred to the metropolis developed around this core. The bulk of this conurbation forms the Greater London administrative area (coterminous with the London region), governed by the Mayor of London and the London Assembly.
London is a leading global city, with strengths in the arts, commerce, education, entertainment, fashion, finance, healthcare, media, professional services, research and development, tourism, and transport all contributing to its preeminence. It is one of the world's leading financial centers and has the fifth-or sixth-largest metropolitan area GDP in the world depending on measurement. London is a world cultural capital. It is the world's most-visited city as measured by international arrivals and has the world's largest city airport system measured by passenger traffic. London's 43 universities form the largest concentration of higher education institutes in Europe. In 2012, London became the first city to host the modern Summer Olympic Games three times. **Source from wikipedia**

We put together this video last summer and have been amazed as we watched it get 4,500,000 hits worldwide. This is a fake. It was made by ourselves and Thames Valley Safer Roads Partnership. The point is to show that despite all the equipment and technology you have on you bike, take care and get further training whenever possible.
