Very friendly and very helpful. And for some reason they kept giving us discounts on everything we bought. Last night we went to the RSL for dinner (John made me walk the 1.8 kms to the restaurant - which was very easy suprisingly) and we had our first pots of beer. We started the day off checking out the island - all of the beaches and the sites. Left Port Albert this morning and headed to Wilsons Promontory which is only about 1 and half hours away. We set up camp at the Tidal River camp area and it is the best camping area we have been to yet (and the cheapest) full amenities, hot showers, phone and internet reception, the whole bit (and you get excited when you get these sort of places, trust us). The national park at the south coast is a natural gem and we thought some nature would do us good before going to Melbourne and Hong Kong.
