Why contemporary scholars do not make Takfeer of the Asharis and Maturidis
Why contemporary scholars do not make Takfeer of the Asharis and Maturidis
When the Salaf as-Saliheen clearly called as Kaafir, those who deny Istawa, or sifaat like Hands and face of Allah, etc. Then why is it that today the scholars have some hesitation or are not clear about the matter. Is it right to make takfir of Ashariyyah and Maturidiyyah?

Imam Maturidi by Dr. Umar Abdullah
Imam Maturidi by Dr. Umar Abdullah
Imam Maturidi was born on 238AH/853AD and died on 333AH/944AD in Samarqand. He was the descendant of the great companion Abu Ayyub al-Ansari who is buried in Istanbul in Turkey. The Maturidis, they are referred to in the narration of the Prophet (s) from Bishr al-Khath`ami or al-Ghanawi with a sound (sahîh) chain according to al-Hakim, al-Dhahabi, al-Suyuti, and al-Haythami: "Truly you shall conquer Constantinople and truly what a wonderful leader will her leader be [Mehmet Fatih Sultan ra] and truly what a wonderful army will that army be!" Both the leader and his army were classic Hanafi-Maturidis and it is known that Mehmet Fatih loved and respected Sufis, practiced tawassul, and followed a Shaykh. Moreover, enmity against Ash`aris, Maturidis, and Sufis, is nifâq and enmity against the Umma of Islam as most of the Ulema of Islam are thus described. (Dr. GF Haddad). sunnah.org

Ashari and Maturidi - Mufti Abdur Rahman bin Yusuf
Mufti Abdur Rahman bin Yusuf talks about the aqeedah of the salaf and the development of aqeedah. I think this addresses many of the confusions and misconceptions about the ashari and maturidi schools which are made to look 'deviant' by certain individuals. He also addresses the way salaf, the true salaf interpretated such matters and how some project thier views on the salaf. Extracted from the 'legacy of imam Abu Hanifa conference'

İtikattaki maturidi ve eşari mezhepleri arasında bir fark var mıdır? Osman Ünlü Hocaefendi
İtikatta mezhepden bahseder misiniz? İtikadda hak mezhep : "Ehl-i sünnet ve cemaat" mezhebidir. Bu mezhep Peygamber Efendinmizin ve ashab-ı Kiramın itikad ve ameli üzerine olan mezheptir. Buna "Fırka-i naciye" kurtulan fırka denir. İtikattaki mezhep imamları ikidir. İmam Ebu Mansur Muhammed Matüridi ve İmam Ebü'l Hasani'l Eşari Hazretleridir. Bizim itikattaki mezhebimizin imamı Ebu Mansur Muhammed Matüridi Hazretleridir. Şafii, Maliki ve Hanbeli mezhebine mensup olanların itikatta imamları Ebü'l Hasani'l Eşari Hazretleridir. Amelde mezhepten bahseder misiniz? Amelde mezhep dörttür. Hanefi, Şafii, Maliki, Hanbeli mezhepleridir. Bir kimse, canı istediği zaman Hanefi mezhebine, canı istediği zaman diğer mezhebin hükümlerine göre hareket edemez.
