Charles Milles Manson (born November 12, 1934) is an American criminal who led what became known as the Manson Family, a quasi-commune that arose in California in the late 1960s. He was found guilty of conspiracy to commit the Tate/LaBianca murders carried out by members of the group at his instruction. He was convicted of the murders through the joint-responsibility rule, which makes each member of a conspiracy guilty of crimes his fellow conspirators commit in furtherance of the conspiracy's objective.
Manson believed in what he called "Helter Skelter," a term he took from the song of the same name by The Beatles. Manson believed Helter Skelter to be an impending apocalyptic race war, which he described in his own version of the lyrics to the Beatles' song. He believed his murders would help precipitate that war. From the beginning of his notoriety, a pop culture arose around him in which he ultimately became an emblem of insanity, violence and the macabre. The term was later used by Manson prosecutor Vincent Bugliosi as the title of a book he wrote about the Manson murders.
"The Man" is a slang phrase that may refer to the government or to some other authority in a position of power. In addition to this derogatory connotation, it may also serve as a term of respect and praise.
The phrase "the Man is keeping me down" is commonly used to describe oppression. The phrase "stick it to the Man" encourages resistance to authority, and essentially means "fight back" or "resist", either openly or via sabotage.
The earliest recorded use[citation needed] of the term "the Man" in the American sense dates back to a letter written by a young Alexander Hamilton in September 1772, when he was 15. In a letter to his father James Hamilton, published in the Royal Dutch-American Gazette, he described the response of the Dutch governor of St. Croix to a hurricane that raked that island on August 31, 1772. "Our General has issued several very salutary and humane regulations and both in his publick and private measures, has shewn himself the Man." [dubious – discuss] In the Southern U.S. states, the phrase came to be applied to any man or any group in a position of authority, or to authority in the abstract. From about the 1950s the phrase was also an underworld code word for police, the warden of a prison or other law enforcement or penal authorities.
Plot
At first watch most viewers find many of the sequences in The Creeping Terror so unbelievably awful and ineptly executed that the movie transcends the sci-fi and horror genres and delves into the realm of comedy. But the story behind the film contains all of the elements of classic movie-making that director Art Nelson would have killed to have in The Creeping Terror. It's the sci-fi Ed Wood told by the actual people who helped bring The Creeping Terror to life, recounting the desperate tales of Art Nelson by those who knew him best. There are rather elegantly produced scenes to set up the actual, and hilarious, footage from The Creeping Terror, also included in CREEP! The real monster was behind the camera.

The real monster was BEHIND the camera!
A Bizarre Trip Through The Making Of The Worst Movie Ever Made
Plot
The story of Dennis Wilson of the Beach Boys and how he found an intense singer/songwriter who he introduced to Hollywood. This musician was sure that one day he's be a household name. That musician did find fame, but not for his music... because that musician was Charles Manson. This project stems from our short film, "LIE" which was done for the Atlanta History Center and Minnesota Historical Society. The film was reviewed by historians and won the 1968 Film Competition's "Revelation Award" for revealing "unknown" history about what occurred in 1968.

Plot
If your wife or husband were to be brutally murdered by a serial killer would you want revenge. It is human nature. But if revenge is to kill then that is wrong. But if you were an artist, and you could exact revenge in an artistic fashion, how would you do this? This was the question I asked myself when I thought of Roman Polanski and how his beautiful Pregnant wife, the actress Sharon Tate, was murdered by Charles Manson and his infamous Manson Family. And so the idea came to me, what if Polanski could haunt and terrify Manson into confessing his guilt, the best way an artist could. These two men are linked for eternity, but they had never met each other, until we made this movie.

Clang bang clang
Went the big iron door
They put me in a cell
With a concrete floor
Nine other men in that cell with me
Moanin' their fate with destiny
Clang bang clang
Clang bang clang clang
Early in the mornin'
At the crack of dawn
They wake us to the tune of a bong bong bong
Line up for chow
Munchin' hard bread
Drinkin' black coffee with that noise in my head
Clang bang clang
Clang bang clang bang clang
The judge said to me, now boy
If you enjoy what you do
When you do it, it's called survive
If you do what you do for yourself come through
See the one you alive
And see the one
And see the one
The one inside each one of some of say the none
The none is on side the sum of some
The summer sun is the sun
And it keeps going around through around
And I keep looping back from around
To around and around and I kow you know me baby
Yeah you know me baby
Yeah you know my sound.
Down deep down inside your soul man
Down deep deep down you know you know
You know you know you know you know
And I bring it on through
You know that everything you know to be is true
You know...
If you're brand new and you start over today
And you're doing one day at a time
Works on better and did me a square and think about
I'm doin' fine, I'm doin' fine always been wherever I was
And was doin' fine... way behind
I keep doin' fine...
But I'd do better if I had some of all that you know I'm lonesome for
Of all of you know we had
All the love was always there
Beyond the good and the bad
From a hobo sleepin' in the dirt
To the queen runnin' round with no shirt
Trying to find a win
Trying to find a win
Trying to find a win
All they want I just wanted for fun
You can have it, it was always in the one
Kings and queens and things on strings
Universal hole I see through
Stars I know stars
Things on wings that fly so far
But I see stars
Stars in Kentucky
Stars in Tenessee
Way up high on the Brushy Mountain
I've been free with me now
I've been free with thee now
Well it's early this morning and I'm waiting
For something that they call a visit
So I can go out and see my friend
Did you ever have a friend?
One that wouldn't bite you in the back
One that wouldn't lie to you
Or cheat you or uh, push you off the track
Did you ever have a friend
Who you could count on and you knew
That when you was in trouble
That that friend would come on through.
If your mind keeps on moving in the back
And you know that my train is on the track
Yes you know that I went I'm comin' back
Then you see it's forever on no slack
You know it's through all ways and hallways
Of call ways of always and all ways
And always as far as far as far can go...
So when you're out by the roadside drinkin' that shine
Movin' on that highway and climbin' on my mind
Waiting on a whorehouse
Dreaming on door mouse
You see the poor cows
Down by the lower lots
He's on in San Jose
Down by the river side
In Knoxville town
They killed that
And knocked it down
They moved it through and the river moved it around
And walked on down
Walkin' on now now...
Walkin' on now now now...
Walkin' on now now now...
Walkin' on down...
Out by the cornbread
Over by the woodshed
Over by the who said
By what someone told you
Always is always forever
As long as one is one
Inside yourself for your father
All is none all is none all is one
It's time we put our love behind you
The illusion has been just a dream
The valley of death and I'll find you
Now is when on a sunshine beam
So bring all the young perfection
For there us shall surely be
No clothing, tears, or hunger
CLOSE TO ME
(Talking)
This is for something to do
Let's see...
(Singing)
Would you mind if I approach you?
With this song may I tell you that I've watched you
How very long that I've watched you from afar
And now right here you are so close to me
Now I know it isn't proper
To insist but my heart would not allow me
To resist
So forgive me if I'm bold
But my story must be told close to you
I'm not pretending that Im perfect
I am nothing with no vanity
But I want you
And I need you can't you see? You're just a part of me
So just sit there for a moment
While I sing and remember with each note
This love that I bring, and if you enjoy the song
Then It's clear that you belong, close to me
(Talking)
I got a bunch of other songs that other people could
sing... That are uh...
That I don't agree with... (Laughing) I wrote 'em
I got some songs that other people could sing very well
(Recorder) "You do whatever you feel man"
Yeah Well then I won't do 'em (Laughing)
Yeah
(Recorder) "Do whatever comes to your mind, why don't
you do some of the songs you wrote in prison?"
Yeah, just the ones that are sad man
(Recorder) "Groovy, let's get to some sad songs man,
let's do it let's do some sadness... I'm down..."
(Laughing) All right
(Recorder) "I'm down if you're up!"
Don't do anything illegal
Beware of the eagle
That's right in the middle of your back
Don't be the eagle
Got you in the back
They got you in a sack
And they keep you lookin' back
Don't do anything illegal
Beware of the eagle
It's got you by the neck
Don't do anything you shouldn't
And you never can say aw heck
I don't wanna do that
[Chanting]
I gotta see your ID my friend
I gotta see your ID my friend
I got to see where you begin
I gotta see your ID my friend
Every time I go to the store
I gotta have an ID with me
I got to have an ID with me
I refuse, so they can see
What they wanna be
Free, I'm free
I got to see your ID my friend
When you come out of the hole
And you're up and down the highway
You got to have an ID
When the day is done I go to bed
I place my hands beneath my head
Close my eyes twilight blue
And board my dream train back home to you
Back to you Luke the Drifter, Hank Williams
There was a time
When I was lonely and I was up and down the lonesome
highway
And Lefty Frizzell... ten years ago on a cold dark
night
The scaffold was here in eternal light
Someone was killed somewhere in the county jail
And it was a jailhouse rock for some other jammer
Who was jamming some cock up somebody's nosehole
(laughs)
Now Elvis, the epitome of fake phony jive on freak
You made a laughing stock of country music
You took away my cowboy feet
You thought you had someone's heartbeat
But Lefty Frizzell and Hank Williams was riding that
train
And then there was Woody Guthrie he used to sing
He'd sing them fools right to insane
Listening to the radio
My Oklahoma angel you know I know
We played the music down deep in the hole
You gave me just a little of your soul
And now left me down in the hole to get old
But it's all right angel love
My Oklahoma angel love
I remember when you taught me this song
Woke up this morning and I grabbed my shoes
Way out running to get the news
I looked in the paper the first thing I saw
Was an interruption
And then from that interruption that you see in the
sound on this tape
We're gonna move around and try to get back in the
groove, try to get
It's all in the eyes of a dreamer
It's all in the eyes of a man
All the things that we've done in life
And all the things that we've planned
Can the world be sad as it seems
Where are man's hopes
Where are man's dreams
Aw the eyes of a dreamer
In the eyes o' the man
All the songs, have been sung
And all the saints, have been hung
The wars and cries have been wailed
And all the people have been jailed
The world it's yours my friend
It's yours to begin or to end
Oh the eyes of a dreamer
In the eyes of the man
Take nothing from nothing brother
And it's all just the same
For the loser is the winner
And there ain't no blame
'Cept the end of the game
The moment, is ever constant in the mind
Everywhere I look the blind lead the blind
Here's your chance to step out of time
There ain't no reason and there ain't no rhyme
For the trouble you bring is the trouble you bring
And a thing is a thing just a thing is a thing
In the eyes of a dreamer
It's in the eyes of a man
It's all in the eyes of a dreamer
It's all in the eyes o' the man
All the things that you've done in life
And all the things that you plan
Is the world, as sad as it seems
Where are your hopes
Where are your dreams
In the eyes of a dreamer
All in the eyes of the man
[Girls whispering/mumbling]
TALK [girls conversing]:
Really really like we struggle
I mean we struggle with ourselves you know
Yeah
Big ol' struggle
You just struggle an' struggle until you struggle
[Giggling]
Then you struggle
And there's no such thing as struggle-
SING [Charlie]:
Far far down Arkansas
There lived a squatter with a stubborn jaw
His nose was droopy red and his whiskers grey
He could fiddle all the night and all the day (far far away)
Came a traveller down a road
Ask if he could find an inn
Can I find an inn
C'mon can I find an inn
Far far down Arkansas
Here come a government man talkin' to my pa
He told 'im uh, I gots to go to school
I gotta learn to be a gosh durn fool (far far away)
(far far away, far far away)
Far far down Arkansas
I was a squatter with a stubborn jaw (far far away)
My nose is droopy red an' my whiskers grey
'Cause the magical mystery tour has taken me away
(Taken me away) taken me away
Far far down Arkansas
I was my mother I was my pa (raised a squatter)
A gov'ment man and a-whiskey still too
And everywhere I'm a-lookin' at you
Far far down Arkansas
Are you stubborn look at your droopin' jaw
TALK:
Standing in a crowd
All by myself
Got nobody
Thinking about me
Bet you think I Care!
I'll bet you think that I care.
Now she's gone
Gone far away
And every day
Is just another day
Bet you think I Care
I'll bet you think I don't wanna be alone
And you think I cry!
And if she ever found out
I bet you think that I would die
Yes I'd die
She'll never know whats down inside
All this love that I'll always hide
Always hide
But I just hide it along
I didnt hide it along
And this all into this song
Cause I didn't hide along
And there's no beginning it's always been
And always shall be in your mind
All the time that's no crime!
Loves on time
Love within, no sin
Love within, no sin
Put it in, no sin
Take it out, and shout
No more war, oh ho
Turn em on, turn em on
Put em on, time is now
Time is now
Come on
Come on
It's up to you
Come on you
It's up to you
What do you do?
Who cares?
Pretty girl, pretty pretty girl
Cease to exist
Just, come an' say you love me
Give up, your world
Come on you can be
I'm your kind, oh your kind an' I can see
You walk on walk on
I love you, pretty girl
My life is yours
Ah you can have my world
Never had a lesson, I ever learned
But I know, we all get our turn
An' I love you
Never learn not to love you
Submission is a gift
Go on give it to your brother
Love and understandin'
Is for one another
I'm your kind, I'm your kind
I'm your brother
I never had a lesson, I ever learned
But I know we all, get our turn
An' I love you
Never learn not to love you
Never learn not to love you

RUN FOR FUN
(Singing)
I'm on the point- in this joint
I'm on the point- in this joint
I'm unaware, in this chair
I'm on the point- in this joint
What you gonna do?
I dunno
What you gonna say?
I'm scared!
It's all right there behind your head
That's what I said
Behind your head
Over the waters and over the trails
Telling fortunes and fairy tales
Cant you see you can be
When you see you can be, you can be
In the colony
Yeah you'll see
You can be
Time goes by and you think it really counts
Time goes by and you weigh it by the ounce
Call it money
Call it funny
Call it happy
Call it run for fun! Run for fun!
Like to run for fun? My goodness
Have you ever seen anybody that could run for fun?
I once knew a fat man,
So mad at the world he tried to eat it up
And when I told him...
Get away from me...
Tell them in the morning
They'll knock you in your head
And they'll say
You should be dead
Tell them in the noontime
They look at you and frown
They'll say you silly people
I know what's coming down
Tell em in the evening!
Tell em in the evening!
They'll hit you in your head
They'll say you fool- that's just what I said
Just what I said
(Talking)
Yeah well man I'm nervous
(laughing)
If I can make myself nervous I should be able to make
myself un-nervous! It makes sense, that it works both
The pass where the Devil you can see
Flying along in sight for all to see
On the edge of infinity
Santa Suzana is the pass where you look to be
Santa Suzana is the pass where you look for me
12 in the night love or fight
Any way is right
If you come out in the night
It's in, side
It's in the back
The front
No it's in the back
No it's in the front
No it's in the back
They shoved it in the back
They put it in the back
All the love in the back in the back
All the love in the back
Get in the back boy
And they call it your subconscious
TALK:

In the front is your computer
And I call him
SING:
Old ego is a too much thing
Old ego is a too much thing
He'll make you fool yourself
You'll think you're somebody else
They got the whole subway train
Makes you want to jump on up there an' fight
And you can't stand left to your right
He'll make you lie
Make you cheat
Jus' so you won't be beat
He'll make you get on outta sight
You get afraid you gonna, act like a clown
And you get mad when somebody puts you down
Your heart's a-pumpin' and you pan-heart's a-jumpin'
Look out ego is a too much thing
When everything seems goin' so fine
Old ego puts itself on a bind
Your cert'ty turns to doubt
Then you start flippin' out
People say I'm no good
But they never never do they say
Why their world is so mixed up
Or how it got that way
They all look at me and they frown
Do I really look so strange
If they really dug themselves
I know they'd want to change
Everybody says you're no good
'Cause you don't do like they think you should
Do you expect them
An' do you expect you to act like them
Look at them man
Look at the fix they're in
I don't care I don't care what they say
Just let 'em sit there and burn
The young might not be so dumb after all
An' from the young you might even learn
Everybody says you're no good
'Cause Charles you don't do
You don't do like they think you should
Do you expect them to act like you
Do you expect them
To expect you to act like them
Do you expect to see
Do you expect the fool to see what a fix he's in
Do you expect the fool to see what a fix he's in
In your cardboard houses
An' your tin-can cars
You sit there and you wonder
You wonder where you are
Those diamond rings they're obscene
You sit there and you wonder
And you say who's to blame
Take a look at yourself
Take yourself off the shelf
You can't belong to nobody
With your Can't-Cough medicine
And your wonder drug
You got, more sickness
Than you got cures of

Standing in the corners all the time
In my mind
Inside my mind
And I know you know how much you love me
It’s just a nursery rhyme beyond the blind
That lives far behind your dreams
I know that you’re true God
I know that you’re righteous brother and
I know you’re good and true
There ain’t no doubt about it
I can look right inside of you
And I see you pure in heart n soul

For hundreds of years, men thought they were making decisions.
Decisions made men.

Is a silent dream, with no thought patterns
with no thought patterns
with no thought patterns to confuse your mind
total awareness all the time
you can be when you cease to be
and then you can see when you can see
when you see the sound of one hand clapping
is the sound of one hand clapping
is the sound of one hand clapping
is the sound of one hand clapping
is the sound of one hand clapping?
First they made him sleep in the closet (x2)
Then they made him sleep out in the hall
When I got a little bit older
They made me sleep against the wall
Then, I was so young and tender
But now I'm oh, so big and hard
Now that I'm a little bit older
I got's ta sleep's in ma backyard
(Family)
When he was just about three
All the girls would drive to see
Who could hold him on their knee
But now its plain to see
Now that he's big and hard
He's got to stay in the back yard
He had a job and got fired
slept on the ground so hard
and I'm so sure some day
Some pretty girl will come his way
and then his mama will say,
“Boy, with girls, you don't play!”
And it's so plain to see
What his mama wants him to be
Locked up and not to be free
To play with you and me
Now I sleep out in the graveyard
Seems my mama up and died
and now I just lay around her tombstone
Scratching peace symbols in the si - - - - - - - de.
(Chorus)
I'm scratching peace symbols in your tombstone
I'm scratching peace symbols in your mind
I'd like to know how'd you get there (x2)
Can't you hear, oh can't you hear up here, as I'm
(repeat chorus)
The only thing you know is what they told you
The only thing you know is what they said
and showed you by the ashes
that all that was true and real is dead, but I'm
(repeat chorus (variation))
I'd like to know how'd you get here
I'd like to know, I'd like to know how'd you get here
My mama told me just what she said
Stay away from girls and my bed
But the woman with the thoughts is all dead
Cause there's a cloud of lead in our head
I'm scratchin' / tombstone
TALK:
[Laugh] Let's see.
What was we talkin' about?
Sick City, y'kay
Restless people, from the sick city
But they're home, now to make the sky look pretty
What can I do, I'm just a person
Just a line that we always seem to hear
You just sit
Things get worse and
SING:
Watch TV and drink your beer
Walkin' all alone not goin' anywhere
Walkin' all alone nobody seem to care
Restless as the wind
This town is killin' me
Got to put an end
To this restless misery
I'm just one of those restless people
Who can never seem to be satisfied with livin'
'Cause sick old sick sick sick old sick city
It may be too late for me to say goodbye
And it may be too late
To watch the sick old city die
Goin' on the road
Yeah I'm gonna try to say
Your home is where you're happy
It's not where you're not free
Your home is where you can be what you are
'Cause you were just born free
Now they'll show you their castles
An' diamonds for all to see
But they'll never show you that peace of mind
'Cause they don't know how to be free
So burn all your bridges
Leave your whole life behind
You can do what you want to do
'Cause your strong in your mind
And anywhere you might wander
You could make that your home
And as long as you got love in your heart
You'll never be alone
Just as long as you got love in your heart
You'll never be alone no no no
Cease to resist, come and say you love me
Give up your world, come on an' be with me
(I'm your kind I'm your kind) and I see
Come one come on
Ooh I love you pretty girl
My life is yours
And you can have my world
(I'm your kind I'm your kind) and I see
Never had a lesson, I ever learned
But now I know I could never learn not to love you
Come in, now closer, come in, closer
Closer, closer, oh
Submission is a gift, give it to your lover
Love and understandin', is for one another
(I'm your kind I'm your kind) and I see
Never had a lesson, I ever learned
But I know I could never learn not to love you
Come in, now closer, come in, closer
Come in, closer, oh (ahh... ahh...)

Spoken Intro: I wanted to make you a tape in the proper
perspective, but it seems like my surroundings is
always mired in some sort of confusion. And on the
reverse side of that, it would be that I appear to be
confused. So I'll leave it up to you to uh, think...
In your music mind
How long is forever
Think in your music mind
Down through all you've ever heard
Coming through your ear now
I can reminisce and remember
I can reminisce and remember
I can reminisce and remember
My feelings spent with you
All my music
How can i feel my soul again
All my music
Can you feel my music now within
Growing every day
Growing every day
Growing every day
'Cause i'm on the line
On the frontiers of electronic fears
You can see me
Here on this tape
I keep moving my mind in the sound
That would split through
The blind into beyond eyes in you
In through and back to you
Around and under and back over and through
And coming back again
On the frontier
Of making new sound
Think in new waves of dreams coming back
If you enjoy what you do
When you do it, it's called survive
If you do what you do for yourself come through
See the one you alive
And see the one
And see the one
The one inside each one of some of say the none
The none is on side the sum of some
The summer sun is the sun
And it keeps going around through around
And I keep looping back from around
To around and around and I kow you know me baby
Yeah you know me baby
Yeah you know my sound.
Down deep down inside your soul man
Down deep deep down you know you know
You know you know you know you know
And I bring it on through
You know that everything you know to be is true
You know...
If you're brand new and you start over today
And you're doing one day at a time
Works on better and did me a square and think about
I'm doin' fine, I'm doin' fine always been wherever I
And was doin' fine... way behind
I keep doin' fine...
But I'd do better if I had some of all that you know
I'm lonesome for
Of all of you know we had
All the love was always there
Beyond the good and the bad
From a hobo sleepin' in the dirt
To the queen runnin' round with no shirt
Trying to find a win
Trying to find a win
Trying to find a win
All they want I just wanted for fun
You can have it, it was always in the one
Kings and queens and things on strings
Universal hole I see through
Stars I know stars
Things on wings that fly so far
But I see stars
Stars in Kentucky
Stars in Tenessee
Way up high on the Brushy Mountain
I've been free with me now
I've been free with thee now
Well it's early this morning and I'm waiting
For something that they call a visit
So I can go out and see my friend
Did you ever have a friend?
One that wouldn't bite you in the back
One that wouldn't lie to you
Or cheat you or uh, push you off the track
Did you ever have a friend
Who you could count on and you knew
That when you was in trouble
That that friend would come on through.
If your mind keeps on moving in the back
And you know that my train is on the track
Yes you know that I went I'm comin' back
Then you see it's forever on no slack
You know it's through all ways and hallways
Of call ways of always and all ways
And always as far as far as far can go...
So when you're out by the roadside drinkin' that shine
Movin' on that highway and climbin' on my mind
Waiting on a whorehouse
Dreaming on door mouse
You see the poor cows
Down by the lower lots
He's on in San Jose
Down by the river side
In Knoxville town
They killed that
And knocked it down
They moved it through and the river moved it around
And walked on down
Walkin' on now now...
Walkin' on now now now...
Walkin' on now now now...
Walkin' on down...
Out by the cornbread
Over by the woodshed
Over by the who said
By what someone told you
Someone told you they told you something that somebody
I'll never say never to always. I'll never say always to none.
To seem is to dream a dream aloud cause one is one is one.
For always is all is forever cause one is one is one.
Look inside yourself for your father, all is none, all is none, none is one.
It's time to call time from behind you, the illusion has been just a dream.
Valley of death and I'll find you now is when on a sunshine beam.
So bring only your perfection, for there love shall surely be.
No cold, pain, fear or hunger. You can see, you can see, you can see.
I once knew a man
So love he was to be
I once knew a man
Whose heart open you could see
Sadder than a dream
Is that he should pass us by
Sadder than the scheme
Is in the dreams within the sky
Lonelier than I
Could I ever dream of a place to go
Much further than before
Time as it seems would be passive
If it were knocking at your door
Why wonder why dream in a night
Why argue hate and fight
The love that grows in the hearts of the men that I see
Is happenin' is comin' home forever
In the path I should wander alone
And a dream would not be mine to say
And a dream no the dream
Never do more than it seems should I obey
The love in my heart says
Give yourself away
The love in my heart says
You're loose today
Now is forever lasting constant in the mind
Illusions with memories scheming at my end of the mind
All the time
One and one are one if you find
A man who's got to find
Of the man who lives behind the gun
Of the man that lives behind the gun
Where has his love gone and come from
He is your brother
Now I'm lookin' right here, inside myself
I've got my eyes closed
I'm looking backward through my brain
Thinkin' about what I'm thinkin' about
Wonderin' if there is an insane
Talkin' about a whisper
Whisperin' in my mind
Talkin' about forever
Beyond illusions of time
Talkin' about forever and ever and ever
Beyond all illusions
Faith so hard is mine
And I was just a man's son
And I was any old one
Of a million million million
In the minds of all I see
Infinity, infinity
Noise has come to my ears
From some television
In the skies of mind
Televisions in the sky of blind
Television reruns and reruns and reruns
All the time
World is just in my lonesome
Child's mind, all the time
If you had no time
You'd have to be right now
The world's spinning around in space
Spinning around on my face
Take the place of a race
That's already been won
Things are in perfection
When you see
Things are in perfection
Soul to see
All is all and everything you
Could love or be
All is now and now is all
(Singing)
When I was a young boy
And drove my mother wild.
I met a maiden in the woods
And she said "Child-
Look into my green eyes
And at my auburn hair
When you're a man you'll never see
A girl quite as fair."
Remember me, oh remember me.
Remember for the rest of your life.
Her eyes were green and glossy, and looking right at me.
Her hair was red and grown with leaves just like an
autumn tree.
She lifted her tiny hand and she made a little turn.
She swayed in the wind just like a graceful bird.
Just right then she vanished, but when I was full grown.
I had a girl just like her to be my very own.
Now I'm a man, and I'd marry if I could.
But I can't forget the memory of the girl from the wood.
Remember me, oh remember me.
There's a time for livin'
The time keeps on flyin'
Think you're lovin' baby
And all ya do is cryin'
Can ya feel are those feelin's real
Look at your game girl
Look at your game girl
What a mad delusion
Livin' in that confusion
Frustration an' doubt
Can you ever live without the game
The sad sad game
Mad game
Just to say you love's not enough
Ifn you can't be true
You can tell those lies baby
But you're only foolin' you
Can you feel are those feelin's real
Look at your game girl
Go on look at your game girl
Ifn you can't feel
And the feelin's ain't real
Then you better stop tryin'
Or you're gonna play cryin'
Stop tryin' or you're gonna play cryin'
That's the game
Sad sad game
Mad game
Invisible tears in my eyes
incredible pain in my heart
Indestructible memories are in review
Impossible though things may get
improbable I will forget
Indelible memories of sweet lovable you
You're back again
and I'll take you in
Although I'm only seeing pictures from the past
Those arms are not real
but somehow I feel
If I'd just close my eyes then maybe this might last
Invisible tears in my eyes
incredible pain in my heart
Indestructible memories all in review
Impossible though things may get
improbable I will forget
Indelible memories, Incomparable memories, Indispensable memories
MY WORLD
My world is a sad world
Often wonder if there's blame
Such a fool in a mad mad world
With no picture in my frame
Everyone says crazy fool
You're always gazing at the night
With my arms around the tree
Loving life with all my might
Crazy as I may seem
Not knowing what to do
Living with one crazy dream
In a frantic world of blue
Lie awake every evening
And somehow stumble through the night
Such a fool in a mad world
Loving life with all my might
My world is a sad world
Often wondered if there's blame
Such a fool in a mad mad world
With no picture in my frame
Loving you without a name!
WHO TO BLAME
Your cardboard houses
And your tin can cars
You sit and you wonder
Wonder where you are
Your diamond rings
They all look the same
You sit and you wonder
You wonder who too blame?
Who's to blame?
You're in the frame now
With your canned cough medicine
And your wonder drugs
Youve got more cures
Than you got sickness of
Cancer: cancer of the mind
Got an escape key on my neck
Got a million dollars in each shoe
Got a million million million friends
Don't give a damn which way they choose
It'd take a fool to sing the blues
It takes a fool to sing the blues
Fallen on sad times
But those are all gone
So have those mad times
But now it's gone
Come on
The time is today
The time is the flood
The time is the past
The time is the future
The time is the future
It's the future
It's the future...
And now
And now
Now now...
He says my mommy won’t let us sit on the couch. Says, why don’t.. if she wants a couch to look at, why don’t you get a picture? And then we can sit on the couch.
Would you like 2 pairs of shoes?
Why would I want 2 pairs of shows?
What if those wear out?
Do you want me to carry this other pair of shoes around, waiting for my other pair of shoes to wear out?
Fear of need is need, baby
Fear of need makes you breathe, baby
Hurry hurry hurry on down the line
You don’t have much time, get there and it’s almost time
Down the line, all the time
You can’t be wrong to nobody
You can’t be wrong to nobody, not him
I’ll be the blame
You’ll be insane
I’ll be the blame
You’ll be insane
You’ll be insane
You’ll be insane
You’ll be insane
Ta bi in a mame
Ta bi in a mame
You must live to find love
And you’ll try many times
But your heart is still young
And the true love you’ll find
You think for true love
Your first love of life
But the time will come
When the feeling will pass
Act like a leaf on a windy day
pass like the clouds after rain
so brush away every tiny tear
your love will shine again
no more cryin
always think of tomorrow
one day you’ll look back and be glad for the sorrow
oh so yes your life has just begun
you’ll find yourself another man
so brush away all those tiny tears
your love will shine again
don’t cry don’t cry
always think of morrow
one day you’ll look back
and be glad for the sorrow
and gain strength from the sorrow
if you don’t think of tomorrow
don’t think of tomorrow
don’t think of yesterday
the past is just an illusion
the future is mass confusion
now is all that’s real
you bring the past out
but be in the present
if you look at it now
thru all of your confusion
thru all your confusion you see an illusion
the future is a dream
the future is never what you may seem
it’s a dream it doesn’t seem like it should seem to be rather than be
seem to be rather than be
to be rather seem to be
seem to rather than be
