Mikey is a 1992 horror film directed by Dennis Dimster and starring Brian Bonsall. The film centers on the character of Mikey Holt, a young boy who is adopted by a family after his previous adoptive family dies. Rather than the darling child they expected, however, Mikey turns out to be a violent psychopath and a budding serial killer.
The movie opens with a young boy setting fire to newspapers in the basement. His name is Mikey and has a younger sister, Beth, whom he blames for the fire.
When Mikey is disciplined by his foster mother for starting a fire indoors, he responds by causing his foster sister to drown in the pool, electrocuting his foster mother while she is in the bath, and killing his foster father with a bat. Mikey avoids suspicion because he is only nine and tells the police that an intruder killed his foster family. Detective Reynolds is assigned to the case and he does not suspect Mikey.
A psychiatrist recommends that Mikey get fostered as soon as possible. His foster mother's sister is put forward as a prospective person, but she does not want anything to do with Mikey. She states that he was adopted and that it was suspected that he was abused by members of his family. She does not present as somebody who is overly interested in taking care of a young child.

A dry comedy, which at times is bitter and then fleets to ironic and amusing. Luca, a writer, dreams of making an independent film based on his own script. In his struggle to live and pay the rent on his one room flat, which he shares with his brother Mickey, he is obliged to work as a script adapter for the dubbing of soap operas.Mickey, an aspiring theatre actor, is persuaded by his brother to have a try at film dubbing, an activity which he does not find to his liking but which, through a series of events, will give a positive turn to his life. Spite, malice, love affairs, revenge, dreams and delusions all take place in the space of three days within the dubbing complex. The rooms, the corridors, the garden and the terrace are the stage for many a story within a story. The interweaving of a series of characters gives life to humorous gags but also to dramatic small stories.

Edgar: I go out, I work my butt off to make a living, all I want is to come home to a nice clean house with a nice fat steak on the table, but instead I get this. It looks like poison. Don't you take that away, I'm eating that, damn it! It IS poison, isn't it? I swear to God I would not be surprised if it was, the way you skulk around here like a dog that's been hit too much or ain't been hit enough, I can't make up my mind. You're useless, Beatrice. The only thing that pulls its weight around here is my goddamn truck!::[Just then, a flying saucer smashes his truck, and Edgar comes out of the house to look at the damage]::Edgar: Figures.
Kay: All right... That's confiscated. All of it. And I want you on the next transport off this rock or I'm gonna shoot you where it don't grow back.::Jay: [shaken] Yeah and... and... and I'm gonna be back to talk about them Rolexes.
Zed: We're not hosting an intergalactic kegger down here.
Dr. Weaver: What's with the cat?::Cop in Morgue: Oh, the cat. Yeah, well, there's a problem with the cat. Sign here.::Dr. Weaver: [signing] What's the problem with the cat?::Cop in Morgue: It's your problem. [leaves chortling at his own joke]::Dr. Weaver: I hate the living.
Kay: All right, Beatrice, there was no alien. The flash of light you saw in the sky was not a UFO. Swamp gas from a weather balloon was trapped in a thermal pocket and reflected the light from Venus.::Jay: Wait a minute. You just flash that thing, it erases her memory, and you just make up a new one?::Kay: A standard issue neuralyzer.::Jay: And that weak-ass story's the best you can come up with?::Kay: On a more personal note Beatrice, Edgar ran off with an old girlfriend. You're gonna go stay with your mom a couple nights. You're gonna get over it and decide you're better off.::Jay: Well, yeah, you know, 'cause 'cause he never appreciated you anyway. In fact, you know what - you kicked HIM out! And now that he's gone you're gonna go into town, you go to Bloomingdale's and find some nice dresses, get yourself some shoes, you know, find somewhere, maybe you can get a facial. And, uh, oh - hire a decorator to come in here quick, 'cause... DAMN.
Jay: [blows out] That's right, that's - Ooh! Um, Kay! Oh, damn, man! Hey, uh, something's - Kay! Something's peekin', man!
[to candidates rejected as MIB agents]::Zed: Gentlemen, congratulations. You're everything we've come to expect from years of government training. Now please step this way, as we provide you with our final test: an eye exam... [a series of flashes occur]
Zed: You'll dress only in attire specially sanctioned by MiB special services. You'll conform to the identity we give you, eat where we tell you, live where we tell you. From now on you'll have no identifying marks of any kind. You'll not stand out in any way. Your entire image is crafted to leave no lasting memory with anyone you encounter. You're a rumor, recognizable only as deja vu and dismissed just as quickly. You don't exist; you were never even born. Anonymity is your name. Silence your native tongue. You're no longer part of the System. You're above the System. Over it. Beyond it. We're "them." We're "they." We are the Men in Black.
Bug: Place your projectile weapon on the ground.::Edgar: You can have my gun, when you pry it from my cold dead fingers.::Bug: Your proposal is acceptable.
Jay: Zed, don't you guys ever get any sleep around here?::Zed: The twins keep us on Centaurian time, standard thirty-seven hour day. Give it a few months. You'll get used to it... or you'll have a psychotic episode.

His name is Mikey,
And he makes me,
Jealous in conversation,
Jealous of all attention,
The girls all stop and stare,
He pretends not aware,
Of the girls who've already bought him drinks,
He drinks up and goes upstairs,
So when he gets upstairs,
The club it turns alive,
Coz everyone knows,
Mikey's dancing all night
He tries to act oblivious,
To eyes that stare,
He's got style,
A contagious smile,
Which he takes everywhere
Never ever seen with a girl
Walking down the street
He knows he can't stick with one
So he'd rather stay discreet
You'll never see Mikey cry,
Mikey give an evil eye
Mikey ever become shy
That's why, Mikey is one of a kind,
That's why, he's always on girls minds,
Girls love bad boys and gents combined,
That's why, Mikey is one of a kind
You may know guys like him,
But no one will ever match up to him
He turns heads, wherever he goes,
With Armari smell and designer clothes
He's got money, and lots of it
And he spoils the girls with all of it
A flash of the wallet is all it takes
For a girl to be at his place
(Break)
I've seen it happen on many occasions,
Doesn't take much persuasion
One second they're drinking at the bar
Then they're a passenger in his car
(Break)
You'll never see Mikey cry,
Mikey give an evil eye
Mikey ever become shy
That's why, Mikey is one of a kind,
That's why, he's always on girls minds,
Girls love bad boys and gents combined,
That's why, Mikey is one of a kind
