Johnny Lovell was Mystery Guest #39 in 2004. He has competed in the 1996 Summer Olympics, 2000 Summer Olympics, 2004 Summer Olympics, and the 2008 Summer Olympics. At the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, Lovell, along with his partner Charlie Ogletree, won a silver medal in the Tornado class.

For the first time in 36 years, the Australians solidified their triumph in front of a raucous home crowd as they upset the undefeated Americans to capture an Olympic title in the event. Trailing by 0.60 seconds at the final relay exchange, Ian Thorpe overhauled U.S. swimmer Gary Hall, Jr. on the final stretch, and eventually touched the wall first with an anchor of 48.30 to deliver the Aussie foursome of Michael Klim (48.18), Chris Fydler (48.48), and Ashley Callus (48.74) a gold-medal time in 3:13.67.

Hugo Hernán Garay (born 27 November 1980 in Tigre, Buenos Aires) is a light heavyweight boxer from Argentina.Garay won the silver medal in Buenos Aires World Junior Championships in 1998. In the 1999 Pan American Games, he won the bronze medal in the men's light-heavyweight category.
Garay represented Argentina at the 2000 Summer Olympics. There he was stopped in the first round of the men's light-heavyweight division (– 81 kg) by Kazakhstan's Olzhas Orazaliev. He made his professional debut on 2001-07-14, defeating Abel Alejandro Rodríguez.
Garay was to fight champion Danny Green for the WBA Light Heavyweight Title on 27 April 2008 at Challenge Stadium in Perth, Australia. However, following the sudden retirement of Green in March of that year, Garay fought Yuri Barashian instead on 3 July 2008 in Buenos Aires for the vacant belt, winning via twelve-round unanimous decision.[1] On 22 November, he defeated Jürgen Brähmer by unanimous decision in his first title defense.[2]

'The group that put Australia on the international music map -- "The Seekers" - was the finale of the Paralympic Games Closing Ceremony that was held at the Olympic Stadium on Sunday, 29 October at 7.30pm. "The Seekers" reformed especially for this spectacular event -- the first time they've all sung together since 1998. Joining "The Seekers" was Jimmy Barnes, who performed songs from his album 'Soul Deep II'; one of Australia's favourite bands, The Whitlams; country singer Keith Urban and Graeme Connors, whose song 'Being Here' was the official song of the Sydney 2000 Paralympic Games' - Sydney Paralympic Organising Committee 2000

Cotto began his professional career in 2001, and on September 11, 2004, he defeated Kelson Pinto for the WBO junior welterweight championship. He defended the title successfully a total of six times, before vacating it when he ascended to the welterweight division.
On his first match on this division he defeated Carlos Quintana for the vacant WBA welterweight championship. Cotto successfully defended this title against Oktay Urkal, Zab Judah, Shane Mosley and Alfonso Gómez, before losing it to Antonio Margarito. On February 21, 2009, he defeated Michael Jennings to win the vacant WBO welterweight championship. Defending the title against Joshua Clottey before losing it to Manny Pacquiao on November 14, 2009. On June 5, 2010, Cotto competed in his first fight at the light middleweight division, defeating Yuri Foreman for the WBA super welterweight championship. On June 7, 2014, Cotto defeated Sergio Martinez to capture the Transnational Boxing Rankings Board, WBC & The Ring middleweight titles. In doing so, he became the first Puerto Rican fighter in history to win a world title in four different weight classes.
