"Gizmo" was the sweetest living thing I ever met. He was a 25 pound butterball of a cat. He was a classic ragdoll but also had the distinction of being a Manx. I loved him dearly. Here he is in a clip with my niece Brittany who adored him. We miss him very much and wanted to share his otherworldly charisma with anyone who loves cats.

A mostly aerial view of Guy Martin running the 2011 Isle of Man to take 2nd place just behind John McGuinness, who is the race's average speed record holder. The Isle of Man's Snaefell Mountain Course is 37.7 miles long and the Senior race runs six laps for a total of 226 miles. Guy Martin shown here finishes the 226 miles in 1 hour, 43 minutes 53 seconds for a corrected average speed of 128.28mph.
This is a dream come true for us sport bike riders. I'd cut off one my own fingers to have the opportunity to run around this track for six laps. Amazingly fast. These guys have 13 pound balls for sure!!!!

The Manx pound or Isle of Man pound is a local issue of the pound sterling, issued by the Isle of Man Government. It is subdivided into 100 pence.
The Isle of Man is in currency union with the United Kingdom, and the Manx pound is a local issue of coins and banknotes denominated in pounds sterling, in a similar way to the banknotes issued in Scotland and Northern Ireland (see Sterling banknotes). It can be exchanged at par with other sterling coinage and notes (see also Sterling zone). The Isle of Man Treasury states that the locally issued currency, United Kingdom coinage and Bank of England notes are all legal tender within the island.
For this reason, ISO 4217 does not include a separate currency code for the Manx pound, but where a distinct code is desired IMP is generally used.
UK notes and coins are generally accepted in the Isle of Man, but Manx notes and coins are not generally accepted in the UK. To assist those travelling, the ATMs at the Sea Terminal, Douglas, and at Isle of Man Airport both issue English notes only.

A mostly aerial view of Guy Martin running the 2011 Isle of Man to take 2nd place just behind John McGuinness, who is the race's average speed record holder. The Isle of Man's Snaefell Mountain Course is 37.7 miles long and the Senior race runs six laps for a total of 226 miles. Guy Martin shown here finishes the 226 miles in 1 hour, 43 minutes 53 seconds for a corrected average speed of 128.28mph. This is a dream come true for us sport bike riders. I'd cut off one my own fingers to have the opportunity to run around this track for six laps. Amazingly fast. These guys have 13 pound balls for sure!!!! -

Train Push-me-pull-your At The Pound Crossing
End of season, two engines take the train to Douglas crossing the main road at the Pound Crossing, Port St Mary. The service ends for this year in a short time and has been reduced to only one run every four hours, so the engine usually kept at Port Erin is no longer needed there and can be returned to Douglas for maintenance. A mostly aerial view of Guy Martin running the 2011 Isle of Man to take 2nd place just behind John McGuinness, who is the race's average speed record holder. The Isle of Man's Snaefell Mountain Course is 37.7 miles long and the Senior race runs six laps for a total of 226 miles. Guy Martin shown here finishes the 226 miles in 1 hour, 43 minutes 53 seconds for a corrected average speed of 128.28mph.
This is a dream come true for us sport bike riders. I'd cut off one my own fingers to have the opportunity to run around this track for six laps. Amazingly fast. These guys have 13 pound balls for sure!!!!

i got caught over taking on 3 blind bends you tell me were i was in the wrong i got 3 points on and 366 pound fine by the kind undercover cop on the black bike behide me as i pull in at the end of the video the iom court was very easy to deal with i paid my fine 50 a month ive never stopped for the police since this day they want money they can earn it from

The current standard reverse, featuring the Royal Shield, was introduced in 2008. In addition to the standard reverse one or two new designs are minted each year.
The coin was introduced on the 9th of February 1983 to replace the Bank of England one pound note which ceased to be issued at the end of 1984 and was removed from circulation on 11 March 1988, though still redeemable at the Bank's offices, like all English banknotes. Letter from 161 men says they would like to be resettled in any of 27 countries in UN’s official program but ‘PNG is not one of them’. Asylum seekers and refugees on Manus Island have written to the UNHCR in Australia, asking that instead of being resettled in Papua New Guinea they be sent to a country that is part of the official UN resettlement program ... They call themselves “detainees of Manus Island” ... Related ... Related ... I cannot sleep ... ....
