Princess Diana In October 1996, Paul Burrell, Princess Diana's former butler, received a personal letter from her stating that she feared, she may be murdered and a car accident would be used to cover it up. The motive was to ensure Prince Charles could get remarried to the women he actually wanted. On 31 August 1997, Diana was fatally injured in a car crash in Paris, which caused her death. 5. Wrawby Junction rail crash A woman had a disturbing vision of a train crash involving an engine with the number 47216, which she shared with British Rail authorities. Two years later in 1983, a train had a fatal accident, similar to one the woman described. However the engine number was different. Later, it was revealed that the original number was 47216 which had previously been changed by nervous British Rail officials. 4. Flight 191 In 1970, David Booth had a nightmare that a jetliner veering off a runway, flipping completely over, and then bursting into flames for 10 nights in a row. FAA officials listened and concluded that he was dreaming of a Boeing 727 or perhaps a DC-10 plane. On the day, David Booth had his last nightmare, American Airlines DC-10 Flight 191 crashed. All 273 passengers died on board. 3. Assassination of Abraham Lincoln Lincoln had a dream of a corpse wrapped in funeral vestment and people mourning upon the corpse. On demand, one of the soldier answered 'The President was assassinated'. Also he had told his bodyguard, William Crook that he had been having dreams of himself being assassinated for three straight nights. As he left for theatre, he turned and said, "Goodbye, Crook." But, this was the first time he said that. Before, he had always said, "Good night, Crook." He was shot dead while attending the play at Ford's Theatre on April 14, 1865, three days after the dream. 2. The Titanic Over 1,500 passengers and crew lost their lives when the RMS Titanic collided with an iceberg and sunk on 15th April 1912. A handful of people cancelled their trip at the last minute due to a premonition. Anne Ward was a maid for the wealthy Cardeza family, who had bought the most expensive suite on the vessel refused to board the ship claiming something bad would happen. Major Archibald Butt had a premonition of impending doom. He prepared his will prior to his journey, in the chance if he did not make it back to Europe. He lost his life that fateful night. 1. The 9/11 Disaster Barrett Naylor, a Wall Street executive, had two premonitions about the World Trade Centre that saved his life. On 26th February 1993, he had an overwhelming feeling to return to home, so missed the bombing at Twin Towers that morning. On 11th September 2001 Barrett suffered the same feeling of dread in his way to work, and so returned home to watch two planes crash into the Twin Towers.
