Here he describes the Indo-European family of languages and the relationship between Sanskrit and other languages of Europe and Asia. The linguistic similarities are also related to cultural and religious similarities. It is notable that the pantheon of gods in the ancient Rig Veda bears a strong resemblance to the Greek pantheon. This is not accidental. In India, Sanskrit developed a unique life as a language used in ritual and as a language for the sacred texts of the Vedanta tradition. These include the Vedas and the Upanishads, the Brahmanas, and the Bhagavat Gita. As such, Sanskrit became a language for contemplation. The very sounds of the language were thought to have the power of altering consciousness. Of particular interest is the mantra, AUM. It is considered to be the primordial sound of the universe that, when repeated, gives access to the entire spectrum of consciousness.
New Thinking Allowed host, Jeffrey Mishlove, PhD, is author of The Roots of Consciousness, Psi Development Systems, and The PK Man. Between 1986 and 2002 he hosted and co-produced the original Thinking Allowed public television series. He is the recipient of the only doctoral diploma in "parapsychology" ever awarded by an accredited university (University of California, Berkeley, 1980). He serves as dean of transformational psychology at the University of Philosophical Research. Banerjee
Banerjee or Bandopadhyay is a surname in the Bengal region of India and are often used interchangeably. The name is also spelt Bannerjee, Banerji, Banerjie, Bonnerjee, Bandopadhyaya and Bandyopadhyay.
History
Tagore family
The family surname of the Tagores is Banerjee (Bandopadhyay).
According to their family tradition the Tagores trace their descent from Rarheya Brahmins of Shandilya clan from Kanauj who settled in the region situated on the right bank of river Hooghly(Rarh) in the eighth century A.D. Bhattanarayana was a Brahmin of this clan who was an established Saskrit Littérateur. Around the tenth century A.D, one of his sons Dinanath migrated to the other side of the river where he got a gift of 'Kush gram' in Burdwan. Thus he came to be known as Dinanath Kushari giving up his own surname Bandyopadhyay. Later the Kusharis (descendants of Dinanath Kushari) migrated to Jessore, Khulna.

In this workshop, the world-famous homeopath Dr. Prasanta Banerji explains his innovative homeopathic treatment of cancer and other serious diseases.
The Banerji clinic in Calcutta is probably India's most well-known medical clinic, and even presidents have come here for treatment. However, it is mainly dedicated to treating the poorest of the poor, and Dr. Banerji himself treats 300 - 400 of them every day free of charge. Prasanta Banerji has been working as a homeopath for more than 60 years. He developed the Banerji protocols - clearly defined treatment protocols for specific diagnoses - together with his son Pratip, drawing on their astonishing wealth of experience.
Whenever a certain remedy or a combination of 2 - 3 remedies was able to heal a patient, Dr. Banerji and his son Pratip tried this therapy program on the next patient who came to see them with the same disease. They also worked on finding the optimum potency for each remedy until eventually they had a fixed prescription which was successful in a high percentage of patients. In more than 100 cases of the normally incurable brain cancer glioblastoma, for example, Drs. Banerji recorded a remission rate of 80 %, and their treatment of hypothyroidism with Bromine C6 cured 90 % of patients over a period of 3 months.

Debashish Banerji, PhD, is former Dean of Academic Affairs at the University of Philosophical Research in Los Angeles as well as an adjunct faculty member at Pasadena City College and the California Institute of Integral Studies. He is also the former director of the East West Cultural Center in Los Angeles. He is author of Seven Quartets of Becoming: A Transformative Yoga Psychology Based on the Diaries of Sri Aurobindo and also The Alternate Nation of Abanindranath Tagore, a book about his great grandfather. He edited an anthology about his great uncle, Rabindranath Tagore in the Twenty-First Century.
Here he describes the Indo-European family of languages and the relationship between Sanskrit and other languages of Europe and Asia. The linguistic similarities are also related to cultural and religious similarities. It is notable that the pantheon of gods in the ancient Rig Veda bears a strong resemblance to the Greek pantheon. This is not accidental. In India, Sanskrit developed a unique life as a language used in ritual and as a language for the sacred texts of the Vedanta tradition. These include the Vedas and the Upanishads, the Brahmanas, and the Bhagavat Gita. As such, Sanskrit became a language for contemplation. The very sounds of the language were thought to have the power of altering consciousness. Of particular interest is the mantra, AUM. It is considered to be the primordial sound of the universe that, when repeated, gives access to the entire spectrum of consciousness.

Between 1986 and 2002 he hosted and co-produced the original Thinking Allowed public television series. He teaches parapsychology for ministers in training with the Centers for Spiritual Living through the Holmes Institute. He has served as vice-president of the Association for Humanistic Psychology, and is the recipient of its Pathfinder Award for outstanding contributions to the field of human consciousness. He is also past-president of the non-profit Intuition Network, an organization dedicated to creating a world in which all people are encouraged to cultivate and apply their inner, intuitive abilities.

Banerjee or Bandopadhyay is a surname in the Bengal region of India and are often used interchangeably. The name is also spelt Bannerjee, Banerji, Banerjie, Bonnerjee, Bandopadhyaya and Bandyopadhyay.

The family surname of the Tagores is Banerjee (Bandopadhyay).
According to their family tradition the Tagores trace their descent from Rarheya Brahmins of Shandilya clan from Kanauj who settled in the region situated on the right bank of river Hooghly(Rarh) in the eighth century A.D. Bhattanarayana was a Brahmin of this clan who was an established Saskrit Littérateur. Around the tenth century A.D, one of his sons Dinanath migrated to the other side of the river where he got a gift of 'Kush gram' in Burdwan. Thus he came to be known as Dinanath Kushari giving up his own surname Bandyopadhyay. Later the Kusharis (descendants of Dinanath Kushari) migrated to Jessore, Khulna.
