Neil Dickson is an English actor, who has worked extensively in both American and British film and television.
At the age of five, Dickson contracted polio, but he was fortunate enough to make a complete recovery a year later. He attended Worksop College in Nottinghamshire playing Coriolanus in the Junior Play 1966. He graduated from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama and spent several seasons working in repertory theatres in Sheffield, Manchester, Leicester and Oxford among others.
In 1975, he made his West End debut in Pinero's The Gay Lord Quex, opposite Dame Judi Dench, which was directed by Sir John Gielgud at the Albery Theatre.
While playing Dean Rebel in Trafford Tanzi at London's Mermaid Theatre, he was spotted by the producers of the NBC mini-series A.D., who cast him in the lead role of Valerius. He spent the following nine months on location in Tunisia working opposite James Mason, Susan Sarandon, Ava Gardner and Ian McShane. Upon his return, he was cast in the eponymous role of James Bigglesworth in the British feature film, Biggles (American title: Biggles: Adventures in Time), which was selected as the Royal Premiere Film in 1986. He went on to star in several mini-series and the cult sci-fi series She-Wolf of London, which was given the alternate title Love & Curses when syndicated in the United States. In 2008, he starred in the film Chasing Chekhov, which won the first BAFTA LA Film Festival Award. He has recently completed work on Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland.
Andrew Ferguson Neil (born 21 May 1949) is a Scottish journalist and broadcaster, who was editor of The Sunday Times for 11 years, and currently presents live political programmes, Sunday Politics and This Week on BBC One and Daily Politics on BBC Two. He is also the former editor-in-chief and current chairman of the Press Holdings group, which owns The Spectator.
Neil was born in Paisley. He grew up in the Glenburn area, and attended the local Lancraigs Primary School. Aged 11, Neil passed his 11-plus examinations and obtained entrance to the then academically selective Paisley Grammar School. His father was an electrician and member of the Territorial Army; his mother worked in the local cotton mills.
After school, Neil attended the University of Glasgow. While there, he edited the student newspaper, the Glasgow University Guardian and dabbled in student television. He was also a member of the Dialectic Society and the Conservative Club and participated in Glasgow University Union inter-varsity debates. He graduated in 1971 with an MA with honours in political economy and political science, having been tutored by Vince Cable.

This is one of my favorite sequences I've ever produced, it might not be the sun scorched walls of El Cap but it don't half pack a punch for a little non-desrcript cliff in Llanberris Pass in North Wales. Stars Jack Geldard, Pete Robins and Neil Dickson at the height of the new wave for on sight climbing. Taken from the dvd and HD download 'On Sight' http://www.posingproductions.com

Here, I walk programmers through making a complex number class, computing the magnitude and phase from a complex number and vice versa, making colours from magnitude and phase, and then testing it all out. The 1985 sequel to Jesus of Nazareth. From the [same] producer, a compelling film dramatizing the trials and triumph of the early Church. The Book of Acts comes alive in this epic covering the years 30-69 A.D. Filmed on location in the Middle East and Europe, A.D. vividly depicts the rising confrontation between the mighty Roman Empire, Jewish zealots, and early Christians. Painstakingly researched by award-winning producer Vincenzo Labella, this compelling mini-series blends Biblical narrative with historic incidents and engaging fictional characters. Rejoice with Christ's disciples at Pentecost, and cry with them at the stoning of Stephen. Watch the Church grow - Saul is dramatically converted, Peter performs wonders, and Philip baptizes the Ethiopian. Witness the barbarous treatment of ...

I created this video with the YouTube Video Editor (http://www.youtube.com/editor) BBC Four. Porridge, scrambled eggs and a full English breakfast are as popular as ever, but we don't neccessarily eat them first thing in the morning "To eat well in England you should have breakfast three times a day," said the writer William Somerset Maugham, who spent a large part of his life living in France, and clearly thought the only meal Brits did well in the late 19th century was breakfast. At the beginning of the 21st century, reports have the full British breakfast supposedly in decline as our kitchens are full of cornflakes, and our journeys to work lined with places to grab a coffee and a bagel. "Breakfast menus have definitely seen a rise in dishes called things like 'proper porridge' and 'c...
