The Williams Tower (originally named and still commonly referred to as the Transco Tower) is a 64-story, 1.4-million-square-foot (130×10^3 m2) class A office tower located in the Uptown District of Houston, Texas. The building was designed by New York-based John Burgee Architects with Philip Johnson in association with Houston-based Morris-Aubry Architects (now known as Morris Architects). Construction began in August, 1981 and was completed in December, 1982. The tower is among Houston's most visible buildings and is the 4th-tallest in Texas, the 26th-tallest in the United States, and the 140th-tallest building in the world. The Williams Tower is the tallest building in Houston outside of Downtown Houston, and at the time of its construction was believed to be the world's tallest skyscraper outside of a central business district.
Real estate developers Gerald D. Hines Interests hired New York-based John Burgee Architects with Philip Johnson to design the building, in association with Houston-based Morris-Aubry Architects (now known as Morris Architects).

A 900 foot skyscraper at a location in which no other building is more than half the height of the building. The building also has a beacon at night. Along with The Williams Waterwall, a fountain that acts as a ventilation system for the building. If you like talking about cities, check out this website! www.City-discussion.com

It is 64 feet tall and the park covers 2.77 acres. 11,000 gallons of water are recirculated every minute along both the inner and outer walls. In the park, also, one can find 186 live oak trees. This public park was created in 1983, although it was originally private and privately built.

See the Devil's Tower in Wyoming. The United States is full of natural wonders. Among them is the Devil's Tower, which resides in Wyoming. Set in the Black Hills, it is essentially a rock monument which stems from a rolling prairie. The tower is thought to be sacred to tribes who frequent the area. There are hundreds of depressions or lines in the side of Devil's Tower which make it a perfect crack climbing area. There is also a 1.3 mile paved trail that circles the tower, allowing visitors to experience the true size. It stands more than 1,200 feet above the surrounding land and the summit rises over 5,000 feet above sea level. The boundary of Devil's Tower encloses more than 1,300 acres. In 1906, the beautiful site was declared a United States National Monument by President ...
