When asked about how the group felt after Cube left, DJ Yella told us that it wasn't a regular topic of conversation, but he briefly acknowledged that the group's feelings at the time were made known on "Message to B.A.," short for Benedict Arnold. Their song later spawned Cube's diss "No Vaseline," which DJ Yella thought was "cool," despite being named on the track. He then added that all of NWA knew that Cube "got us on that one."
The conversation then turned to the group dissolving after their second album, "N****z4Life," was mixed, and DJ Yella made it clear that outside people broke up the group.

The founding member of NWA told us he spoke with Eazy during an adult film he was shooting at the "Eazy-Duz-It" emcee's home. Yella then revealed that Eazy told him to "watch yourself" before it was announced that he had AIDS, which the producer later realized was the rapper's way of telling him about his illness.
After revealing his passion to do music died when Eazy passed away, Yella addressed being the only NWA member to attend his funeral. He explained that the members will never discuss why they didn't go to the funeral, but he guessed "some people probably just can't take it."

Despite their highly-publicized beefs throughout the late 80's/early 90's, DJ Yella recalls a specific time the group stuck together to perform their hit "F*** tha Police," the anti-cop record the F.B.I (or any other form of authority) wasn't too fond of. "Cube wasn't even at the end of his verse," DJ Yella recalls of the first and last time N.W.A. performed the track during a show in Detroit, Michigan. "They ran us out of that city."
DJ Yella - who was a consultant for the biopic "Straight Outta Compton" - says he hasn't "done music since" Eazy E passed away due to complications from AIDS. He remembers the "Boyz-N-The Hood" performer "was not a natural rapper." "He had to be coached. But he had the sound," Yella recalls.

The famed producer revealed that despite Ice Cube being a rapper and writing the track, Dr. Dre wanted Eazy, who was never a rapper, to perform the song. Yella explained that no one in the group ever asked why Cube didn't do the song, which went on to be a major success.

Yella started out by sharing his thoughts on "The Chronic," which he thought was great, and then he addressed a question about Eazy-E signing off on Dre leaving Ruthless. The West Coast DJ explained that he didn't get involved in the drama, but he added that he's remained good friends with Dr. Dre throughout the years.
During the conversation Yella also spoke about Eazy and Ice Cube's relationship after NWA split, revealing that they actually spoke about reuniting again before the "Real Muthaphuckkin G's" emcee's untimely death.

Antoine Carraby (born December 11, 1967), better known by his stage name DJ Yella, is an American DJ, music producer, film director and pornographer from Compton, California. He was a member of the World Class Wreckin' Cru along with Dr. Dre. He later became a founding member of the pioneering gangsta rap group N.W.A (composed of Yella, Dr. Dre, Ice Cube, MC Ren, and Eazy-E). Along with Dre, he produced Eazy-E's debut album Eazy-Duz-It and all three N.W.A albums, translating into millions of sales. He co-produced the platinum-selling debut albums of J.J. Fad and Michel'le with Dre and contributed to The D.O.C.'s 1989 album No One Can Do It Better (also produced by Dre). Jerry Heller witnessed Dre and Yella's work together and wrote in 2006 of an almost eerie understanding between the pair, as they crafted high quality beats and productions with almost no words or full sentences needing to be spoken.[citation needed]
Yella remained close to Eazy and stayed on production duties at Ruthless Records after the acrimonious break up of N.W.A. He produced J.J. Fad's second album Not Just a Fad (1990), Yomo & Maulkie's album Are U Xperienced? (1991), two tracks from Eazy-E's It's On (Dr. Dre) 187um Killa (1993), the gold-selling hit single Foe tha Love of $ from Bone Thugs-N-Harmony's Creepin on ah Come Up E.P., Menajahtwa's album Cha-licious, and tracks from H.W.A.'s Az Much Ass Azz U Want E.P. (all three from 1994), and oversaw Eazy's final album in 1995 after his sudden AIDS-related death.

In 1994 Foesum hooked up with Tony G and Julio G of the original 1580 AM KDAY Mixmasters. Ruthless Records CEO, Eazy-E put Julio G down to co-host a radio show on LA's 92.3 The Beat called "The Ruthless Radio Show." In just a few weeks and with the help of Tony G, Foesum recorded the songs "Lil Somethin' Somethin' " and "Listen To The Sound." It caught the ear of Eazy E along with Big Beat/Atlantic and Tommy Boy Records. Foesum signed a deal with Atlantic Records in January 1995. The first single 'Lil Somethin' Somethin' was released in the summer of 1995 on Big Beat/Atlantic Records and got major play on The Box and radio stations everywhere. The album 'Perfection' was released on Penalty Records/Tommy Boy in the fall of 1996. Since then Foesum has been working on new albums to release on their own independent venture called The Perfection Label including The FoeFathers, A Greatest Hits album, and solo projects.

50 dead in gay nightclub shooting, worst in US history

ORLANDO, Fla. — A gunman wielding an assault-type rifle and a handgun opened fire inside a crowded gay nightclub early Sunday, killing at least 50 people before dying in a gunfight with SWAT officers, police said. It was the worst mass shooting in American history ... He said that might be related to the attack ... He estimated more than 100 people were still inside when he heard shots, got on the ground and crawled toward a DJ booth ... ....

NEW YORK. Social media giant Facebook is pushing its users to download its private photo-sharing Moments app, a media report said. The social network has begun sending out warnings that some photos will be deleted by July 7 if the app is not installed. The museum made the announcement of who would be inducted in December, but the show was recorded in early April before being show on HBO this past weekend.
