Plot: A young idealistic English filmmaker, Sue, arrives in India to make a film on Indian revolutionaries Bhagat Singh, Chandrashekhar Azad and their contemporaries and their fight for freedom from the British Raj. Owing to a lack of funds, she recruits students from Delhi University to act in her docu-drama. She finds DJ, who graduated five years ago but still wants to be a part of the University because he doesn't think there's too much out there in the real world to look forward to. Karan, the son of Industrialist Rajnath Singhania, who shares an uncomfortable relationship with his father, but continues to live off him, albeit very grudgingly. Aslam, is a middle class Muslim boy, who lives in the by-lanes near Jama Masjid, poet, philosopher and guide to his friends. Sukhi, the group's baby, innocent, vulnerable and with a weakness for only one thing - girls. Laxman Pandey, the fundamentalist in the group, the only one who still believes that politics can make the world a better place and finally Sonia - the sole girl in the group, tomboy and vivacious spirit, engaged to Ajay - the dashing air pilot. Through her film, Sue wishes to showcase to the world the efforts of these young revolutionaries and the enormity of their contribution to the freedom movement in India. What unfolds is the inspiration behind Sue's passion for bringing their story to the world. The twist in the tale is of course the fact that more than just telling the world, Sue's film makes DJ and his friends stop and stare at themselves for being the actual descendants of these great men and never recognizing and celebrating their courage and spirit.

Plot: When his mentor Lala Lajpatrai is mercilessly beaten to death by the police Bhagat Singh is enraged and he sets about to avenge his death. He and his colleagues do succeed in killing one of the officials responsible, but they are identified and as a result they are arrested and held in prison where they are tortured relentlessly. They are then sentenced to a life in prison. Subsequently, they are charged with a more serious crime - treason and assassination - a crime that is punishable by death.

Plot: Udham Singh was born and brought in a Sikh family in Punjab, India, during the time when the British ruled India. Enraged at the massacre of over 2000 men, women, and children at the hands of Brigardier General Edward Harry Dwyer (Tom Alter) in Jallianwalla, (now known in History books as the Jallianwalla Baug Massacre) Udham Singh swears vengeance. He sets about creating obstacles for the British, and is soon on wanted lists by the authorities, on one occasion he is shielded by a courtesan, Noor Jehan (Juhi Chawla). In order to achieve his vengenace, he travels to the United Kingdom, befriends the local Indians, as well as Irish Freedom Fighter, Irene Rose Palmer (Charleen Carswell). He finally kills Dwyer during a presentation. He is quickly apprehended, and jailed. He refuses to cooperate with the authorities, nor is he willing to accept that he is mentally incapable. His trial is a mockery and travesty of justice. He is ordered to be hung, and the press are forbidden to publish the trial proceedings.

Plot: Kubla is a terrorist and would like to rule over India. In order to do this, he needs vital information about the Indian armed forces, and he recruits an Indian army officer, Vikram. Then Kubla and Vikram abduct Col. Choudry and his daughter, Priya, and give Bhagat Singh two and a half hours time, to locate the information, or else the Colonel will be killed, and Priya raped.

Plot: The police in India are baffled by a daring gang of bandits and smugglers, headed by a masked man, who is always dressed in red - and aptly named Redshirt. They assign this baffling case to Inspector Shankar, who re-locates to the small where Redshirt is supposedly operating from. Before Shankar could take any action, he finds out that his sister has been abducted. He manages to locate and rescue her, but she has been injected by illegal drugs and subsequently kills herself.
