The Bank of England Under the cover of Europe's refugee crisis that has the likes of Hungary forgetting its own past of sending hundreds of thousands of refugees westwards, or the more recent 1 million or so of economic migrants, has taken the opportunity to announce its latest cunning plan in its War on Cash.
This is my latest video in the 'Illusion of Democracy and Freedom' series which focuses upon the 'War on Cash', what it is, what it means and what it is trending towards and what all people need to do to protect themselves against the potential risks of not just theft of their hard earned life time of savings that in the future could be just a mouse click away from being legally stolen, but the risks of being financially deleted as western democracies become financial totalitarian states.

HOW MONEY IS MADE in a Modern World - Look Inside Bank of England's Gold Vault
In this new video you can learn how commercial banks can create money through the accounting process they use when they make loans, how banks make payments between each other using specially created central bank money, if the Bank of England really can control how much money is in the economy ...and more.
How is money made?
The ways in which money has been made, and the materials used to make it, are an important part of the history of money. Making coins, paper money and plastic cards involves complex processes, different in each case.
In economics, money creation is the process by which the money supply of a country or a monetary region (such as the Eurozone) is increased. A central bank may introduce new money into the economy (termed 'expansionary monetary policy') by purchasing financial assets or lending money to financial institutions. Commercial bank lending then multiplies this base money through fractional reserve banking, which expands the total of broad money (cash plus demand deposits).
Quantitative easing involves the creation of a significant amount of new base money by a central bank by the buying of assets that it usually does not buy. Usually, a central bank will conduct open market operations by buying short-term government bonds or foreign currency. However, during a financial crisis, the central bank may buy other types of financial assets as well. The central bank may buy long-term government bonds, company bonds, asset backed securities, stocks, or even extend commercial loans. The intent is to stimulate the economy by increasing liquidity and promoting bank lending, even when interest rates cannot be pushed any lower.
Singapore will regulate virtual-currency intermediaries including operators of Bitcoin exchanges and vending machines to address potential money-laundering and terrorist-financing risks.
Digital currencies have come under scrutiny in markets from China to Russia and the U.S., with some regulators calling for bans or limits on their use. Charlie Shrem, the founder of exchange company BitInstant, was charged in Manhattan two months ago with conspiring to launder $1 million of Bitcoins.
Congressman Ron Paul warned that if the US continues on its current course, the dollar will collapse, and gold will literally be priceless. They are caught in the middle of a massive tug of war between the East and the West, and they are paying a great price for it. Ultimately, Ukraine will end up either being dominated by Russia (a bad outcome) or by the EU and the United States (another bad outcome).
China just dropped an absolute bombshell, but it was almost entirely ignored by the mainstream media in the United States. The central bank of China has decided that it is "no longer in China's favor to accumulate foreign-exchange reserves". During the third quarter of 2013, China's foreign-exchange reserves were valued at approximately $3.66 trillion.
A young American woman who ran the First Meta bitcoin exchange was found dead in her Singapore apartment last week. Police are investigating the "unnatural death".
Autumn Radtke was found on the morning of February 26 after Police received an emergency call from an apartment building. She was pronounced dead at the scene. A preliminary police investigation has ruled out foul play, but neighbors told police they suspected Radtke jumped from an apartment.

UK's economic growth slows more than expected
Britain's economic growth slowed up in the year's third quarter, partly due to the biggest fall in construction in three years.
GDP grew by 0.5 percent between June to September, down from 0.7 percent in the previous three months.
The slowdown was bigger than economists and the Bank of England had expected.
Part of the reason for the drop in construction is thought to be bad weather in August.

A week after the Fed decision and there is still no shortage of commentary as to whether or not they made the right decision. Now that the fireworks have settled (until the run up to October Fed meeting) it’s worth taking a look at another major central bank struggling with rate issues.
How much would a 50 bp benchmark rate hurt an economy? Well, in a way, we do have a current example. The Bank of England has had its equivalent of the Fed funds rate at 0.50% since March 2009, and although there are differences in the U.S. and U.K. economies, the psychology seems to be the same. Governor Mark Carney has repeatedly hinted in months past that a rate hike is in the plans – it is just a matter of time. But it was always somewhat assumed that the Bank of England would not move until after the Fed.
Now, everything is up in the air.
The data between the two economies is eerily similar. GDP growth in both countries is in the low 2% area. Headline inflation is essentially zero, and unemployment is 5.5% in the U.K compared to 5.1% in the U.S. Both economies of course also face the headwinds of slowing global growth and the potential for a slowdown up ahead. Leading economic indicators in the U.K. are also relatively weak.
On paper, and when measured against benchmark rates around the world, the Bank of England (BoE) has room to cut rates to 25 bp and match the current Fed Funds target, but should it? Up until its last meeting on September 10, the BoE had a tightening bias. But the reality is that such a move is not being discussed, primarily because the smart people in the room know that monetary policy gets ineffective when it is used in the extreme. Going from 50 bp to 25 really will not help the economy, and as we have seen with the Fed, moving back up will be really hard. The financial world acted last week as if panic and chaos would ensue if the Fed simply met the same benchmark rate being used by the U.K. central bank
My View: This is where economics veers off from being a purely analytical exercise and returns to a far more complex paradigm – human psychology and emotion. Central banks around the world are struggling to regain the upper ground and return reason to the markets.

"Who is Peter of England?
Peter of England is either a con man or a crazy man known to society as Alan Peter Michael Smith. He was a minor figure who tried to establish himself as a guru through his two scams, known as Freeman Legal Services and WeRe Bank. Freeman Legal Services is where you can get Peter to help you with any legal service, he'll always win mostly because he doesn't understand that being escorted from the court by security is a loss. WeRe Bank however eventually came to become one of Peter's most infamous scams.
What is WeRe Bank?
WeRe Bank is Peter's idea of how to make a utopian society free from the curse of debt and capitalism. How this would work in practice is not really a concern of Peter's because he's more a big picture nutjob. But for the low low initial price of £35 and £10 a month thereafter Peter will send you a magic chequebook, that lets you write cheques in his wondermoney called the Re. Which is a currency Peter's totally invented and not subject to any of the controls or regulation that comes with regular fiat currency. According to Peter everyone has to accept the Re and he thinks they can force acceptance on third parties simply by sending them a cheque. Well that's not strictly true, Peter has been very clear that WeRe bank won't accept the Re as a form of payment for it's banking service. But don't worry he will accept those worthless notes with pictures of the Queen on them.
How did this work?
In the short term it took advantage of the fact that many financial and other institutions will apply a credit to an account before a Cheque has finished clearing. This is pretty much the same as advanced fee fraud, which is pretty well known, and so initially it appeared that the scam was 'legit'. Of course in the long term the banks soon figured out that WeRe Bank was being run out of a mail drop in Manchester and not an actual real bank. They began rejecting the cheques as fraudulent and reversing the credits made. This just served to confuse the situation, many of the adherents of WeRe Bank aren't the most financially savvy and they genuinely may believe that the debt has been legitimately paid. Because of this many of them are now in a long running argument where they are firm in their conviction that sending a duff cheque should clear a debt. The banks are equally firm in their conviction that this is attempted fraud.
It was also helped by WeRe Bank being promoted by deep thinkers of the Sovrun scene, Jim Wyld, Ceylon, BertieBert, RobSwift and Chong over on GOODF. They were keen to talk about how well it worked and Ceylon was equally keen to ban anyone who pointed out that it didn't, wouldn't or couldn't. The threads on WeRe Bank finally got moved and locked because of 'trolls' or as we call them people who explained why it was a scam and why the cheques were worthless.
So whats being done about this?
At the moment, not that much (that we know of). Peter has been reported and is likely to be in very hot water. Right now the scam is unravelling. WeRe cheques are being rejected and various councils and financial bodies have issued warnings against accepting these cheques. Peter's been lying low for a while, it was thought that he'd done a runner with the cash to warmer climes. However a recent posting by him seems to indicate that he is still in the country and still trying to drum up some suckers for his scam.
Hopefully the authorities will catch up with Peter soon, while some may think that these idiots are only getting what they deserve for wanting to exploit the system, others take the view that many of Peter's victims are vulnerable, easily led and unable to discern when something really is to good to be true. However both camps are agreed that the best place for Peter is custody."

The UK economy's growth slowed in the third quarter of the year, weighed down by the performance of the construction and manufacturing sectors.
Gross domestic product grew by 0.5% between July and September, the Office for National Statistics (ONS) said, down from 0.7% in the second quarter.
The rate was also lower than the 0.6% growth predicted by many analysts.
Part of the slowdown was due to the biggest fall in construction output in three years, a drop of 2.2%.
The service sector, the biggest part of the economy, grew by 0.7%.
However, output in the manufacturing sector declined by 0.3%.
"The slowdown is being led by the manufacturing sector, which is seeing a renewed recession as output has now fallen for three consecutive quarters, suffering a 0.3% decline in the three months to September," said Chris Williamson, chief economist at research firm Markit.
"Manufacturing output has so far fallen 0.9% this year. Producers are struggling as weak demand in many overseas markets, notably China and other emerging nations, is being exacerbated by the appreciation of sterling."
The drop in construction output could have been influenced by particularly wet weather in August, the ONS said.
"Overall, the picture of a steady recovery in the UK economy continues and we would now expect GDP growth of around 2.4% for the year as a whole," said John Hawksworth, chief economist at accountants PwC.
According to a poll by news agency Reuters on Monday, economists have pushed back their average forecast of when the Bank of England will start to raise interest rates to the second quarter of 2016 from the first quarter.
This is the first estimate of economic growth for the July-to-September period and makes use of only half the data which will be used for the final estimate.
Chancellor George Osborne said there were more "tough decisions" to come and that his Autumn Statement, due on 25 November, would include "long-term investments for the future".
Sterling fell to $1.5309 after the data, before rebounding to $1.5325, which is 0.2% lower than on Monday.
"The market has pushed the first rate hike way out into the future, so I don't think today's GDP figures are going to have much impact in terms of that timing," said Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi currency economist Lee Hardman.

"The market has pushed the first rate hike way out into the future, so I don't think today's GDP figures are going to have much impact in terms of that timing," said Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi currency economist Lee Hardman.

It’s time to infiltrate the Bank of England. Your assassination target is Philip Twopenny. Like many other assassination missions, there are a few side activities you can partake. You can kidnap the head of security which results in a unique kill opportunity. He generally patrols the northwest side of the bank. You can also kidnap the bank manager to gain easy access to the vault, and even kill the vault watcher so you don’t have to worry about the vault door being closed if something goes wrong. Both the bank manager and the vault watcher are located near the vault door.
Head over to the roof of the Bank of England and use the window entry point in the middle of the bank near the east side. From this entry way you can reach the rafters above the main bank floor and easily hit the vault watcher with a hallucinogenic dart. He’s level eight, so you need to upgrade the darts at least once for this to work. If you haven’t done that, you’ll need to get closer and use an air assassination to finish him off.
Move back outside and head over to the window entry point on the northeast side to find an item box. The bank manager also moves into this room, so wait for him there and kidnap him when he enters and turns his back to you. Use the bank manager to get into the vault, then grapple up to the rafters for a relatively simple air assassination. Now head to the next waypoint and grapple back up to ground level, then leave the bank and escape to a safe distance to complete the sequence.

Tower of Basel is the first investigative history of the world’s most secretive global financial institution. Based on extensive archival research in Switzerland, Britain, and the United States, and in-depth interviews with key decision-makersincluding Paul Volcker, the former chairman of the US Federal Reserve; Sir Mervyn King, governor of the Bank of England; and former senior Bank for International Settlements managers and officialsTower of Basel tells the inside story of the Bank for International Settlements (BIS): the central bankers’ own bank.Created by the governors of the Bank of England and the Reichsbank in 1930, and protected by an international treaty, the BIS and its assets are legally beyond the reach of any government or jurisdiction. The bank is untouchable. Swiss authorities have no jurisdiction over the bank or its premises. The BIS has just 140 customers but made tax-free profits of $1.17 billion in 20112012.
Since its creation, the bank has been at the heart of global events but has often gone unnoticed. Under Thomas McKittrick, the bank’s American president from 19401946, the BIS was open for business throughout the Second World War. The BIS accepted looted Nazi gold, conducted foreign exchange deals for the Reichsbank, and was used by both the Allies and the Axis powers as a secret contact point to keep the channels of international finance open.
After 1945 the BISstill behind the scenesfor decades provided the necessary technical and administrative support for the trans-European currency project, from the first attempts to harmonize exchange rates in the late 1940s to the launch of the Euro in 2002. It now stands at the center of efforts to build a new global financial and regulatory architecture, once again proving that it has the power to shape the financial rules of our world. Yet despite its pivotal role in the financial and political history of the last century and during the economic current crisis, the BIS has remained largely unknownuntil now.

LONDON (Reuters) - British banks approved the fewest mortgages last month since May, while net credit card lending fell to its lowest since September 2014, seasonally adjusted data from the British Bankers' Association showed on Monday.
Mortgage approvals for house purchase fell to 44,489 in September from 46,567 in August, but were 14 percent up from the same time a year ago, the BBA said.
"Borrowing figures in the mortgage market remain strong as customers take advantage of record low interest rates. In particular, remortgaging remains high as savvy customers secure attractive deals ahead of a possible rate rise," BBA chief economist Richard Woolhouse said.
The BBA figures also showed banks' net credit card lending and lending for personal loans and overdrafts both fell from the previous month.
The BBA data are generally a good guide to trends in more comprehensive Bank of England lending data due a few days later, but do not include lending by mutually owned building societies, which accounts for almost a third of mortgages.
British house prices have started to rise more strongly in recent months, after slowing towards the end of 2014, as the supply of new housing remains limited.

The economy of Wales is closely linked with the rest of the United Kingdom and the wider European Economic Area. In 2012, according to ONS provisional data, headline gross value added in Wales was £47.3 billion, making the Welsh economy the tenth largest of the UK's twelve regions ahead of only Northern Ireland and the North East of England. The modern Welsh economy is dominated by the service sector. In 2000, services contributed 66% to GVA, the manufacturing sector contributed 32%, while agriculture, forestry and fishing together contributed 1.5%.
As in the rest of the United Kingdom, the currency used in Wales is the pound sterling, represented by the symbol £. The Bank of England is the central bank, responsible for issuing currency, and retains responsibility for monetary policy and is the central bank of the UK. The Royal Mint, which issues the coinage circulated over the whole of the UK, has been based at a single site in Llantrisant, south Wales since 1980, having progressively transferred operations from their Tower Hill, London site from 1968.

London, 1868. The Industrial Revolution unleashes an incredible age of invention, transforming the lives of millions with technologies once thought impossible. Opportunities created during this time period have people rushing to London to engage in this new world. A world no longer controlled by kings, emperors, politicians or religion, but by a new common denominator: money.
However, not everyone is able to enjoy the benefits of this boom. Despite fueling the engine of the British Empire, workers’ lives are little more than legalised slavery while the top few percent profit from their labour. Living poor and dying young, the lower class unite together in protest as a new kind of family – gangs – who turn to a life in the underworld in their struggle to survive. A struggle, until watchful Assassins come to their side and re-ignite an age-old conflict involving London’s leaders that will echo throughout modern history from the underground, up.
Introducing Assassin Jacob Frye, who with the help of his twin sister Evie, will change the fate of millions in the upcoming Assassin’s Creed Syndicate. Rise to rally and lead the underworld to break the corrupt stranglehold on London in a visceral adventure filled with action, intrigue and brutal combat.

6th of July 2015. Saint Annes, Lancashire, England.
Peter of England addresses New Horizons Saint Annes.
Peter of England explains how we can honestly pay Public Utility Bills without actually paying a penny to the companies! “Every little helps!”
Seriously, Peter describes the nature of the WeRe Bank: its origins, its intentions, what it hopes to achieve and, in particular, how it can benefit those who face – or feel they may, one day, face – financial struggles.
This is a highly respectable endeavour: Peter highlights the legitimacy of the bank and its honest alignment with The Bills of Exchange Act 1882.
Peter also casts a scary glance into the near future and the planned Cashless Society: its opportunities for control and restriction, touch on war/conflict and how these profit our corporate and financial elite. He also discusses gold, credit, quantitative easing, inflation, interest, economic stability and the evident devaluation of ordinary people’s finances.
This talk is designed for people who take an active interest in themselves, others, their country and the planet... and who are able to detach their retinas from the TV and themselves from the armchair.

In this episode of the Keiser Report, Max Keiser and Stacy Herbert discuss the 'capital Taliban' and the 'monetary jihadists' at the Bank of England, aka 'financial terrorists,' but not for the reasons Vince Cable claims they are. Stacy suggests that monetary policy could use a burka as it's walking in a g-string loose at the moment. In the second half, Max talks to Alasdair Macleod of Macleod Finance and Goldmoney about gold backwardation, GOFO and the 1300 tonnes of gold missing from the Bank of England!
--------------------
Vince Cable, business secretary, has lifted the lid on tensions between the government and the Bank of England criticising its "capital Taliban" whom he accuses of holding back the recovery by imposing excessive financial burdens on the banks.
Mr Cable believes the BoE has held back small business lending by demanding banks hold onerous levels of capital as a cushion against further shocks, a view shared by George Osborne, chancellor.
Mr Osborne has warned of the dangers of creating the "stability of the graveyard" and hopes Mark Carney, the new BoE governor, will rein in what one Treasury official described as a "jihadist" tendency in Threadneedle St against the banks.
The tensions were stoked last month when Mr Osborne's hopes of a revival in the housing market were threatened by prospective capital demands on Nationwide, Britain's biggest building society and one of the UK's fastest growing mortgage lenders.
Nationwide fell short of new requirements which compelled lenders to hold top tier capital equal to 3 per cent of their total loan book, prompting Graham Beale, the group's chief executive, to warn that the "crude" measure would constrain its ability to lend.
The Treasury confirmed it passed on concerns expressed by banks about the new capital requirements. A few weeks later -- after Mr Carney's arrival -- Nationwide was told by the regulator that it could have until 2015 to meet the new leverage ratio, a much softer stance than it initially expected.
Lord King, who stepped down as governor of the BoE at the start of the month, criticised bankers only last month for trying to lobby ministers to relax their requirements to bring leverage ratios down.

Episode: Bank of England Robbery
ComicWeb's Youtube channel features old movie cliffhanger serials and old time radio programs.

In an earlier time, just prior to and following the Second World War, the general public was fascinated by the subject of crime. Numerous magazines of "True Crime Stories" filled the newsstands. Radio also helped fill the need with fictional heroes such as Johnny Dollar and The Saint. Few true crime dramas, other than Gangbusters or Dragnet, sustained long term success on radio.
The Secrets of Scotland Yard was a successful crime drama series, initially airing internationally between 1949 and 1951. Selected episodes finally came to a US radio network for a brief run much later in 1957 over the Mutual Broadcasting System.
The series boasted well over 100 episodes, one of which, "The Bone From A Voice Box", apparently served as the prototype for another well remembered Towers Of London dramatic series, The Black Museum. In both series, well known actors were employed as host/narrator, Orson Welles in The Black Museum and Clive Brook here. In fact, the shows were so similar that some of the same actual Scotland Yard cases were dramatized for both series (with totally different scripts, and casts).
The Secrets of Scotland Yard was an independent production of the Towers of London syndicate in England for world wide distribution. Each week, an audience of anxious radio-listeners tuned in to hear these true crime stories of the London Metropolitan Police unfold, as the detectives at the Yard investigated some of England’s most famous criminals. Their trials have become legendary.
Stories presented in the series include the theft of the British crown jewels by Colonel Thomas Blood; the story of a man who finds an armless and legless body wrapped in ribbons and lace; or the strange story of two close brothers who love one another enough to contemplate the murder of a brother’s affluent, yet unsightly and ignorant, wife.
Murders, forgery, and robberies all get a through review on the program. Each time, Scotland Yard detectives are afoot to solve the crime mystery!
The Secrets of Scotland Yard was initially hosted by Clive Brook, probably for the first year or so. To add to the air of authenticity, Brook sometimes discusses matters with Percy Hoskins, a 1950s crime expert and reporter for the London Daily Express. Hoskins knew every nook and cranny in London’s seedier districts and personally reported on many of the major crimes of the day. A student of crime, Hoskins was also one of the founders of the Saints and Sinners Club of London, an educational organization dedicated to true crime investigation methods and results.
Brook had his own Scotland Yard experience previously when he played retired naval commander Stevenson in the 1936 film, "Scotland Yard Commands". American audiences will however probably more familiar with Brooks’ portrayal of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s Sherlock Holmes in the 1932 film of the same name. Brook was eventually replaced by an actor portraying the character Superintendent X of Scotland Yard.
