Crews monitoring wildfires in Utah County

Fire personnel were monitoring three wildfires Sunday in Utah County, according to the U.S Forest Service. The blazes — all reported on Friday and all caused by lightning — were being managed to allow the fires to play their natural role “improving forest health and reducing hazardous fuels without posing undue risk to people or property,” the agency said in a news release....

The Dindigul police are on the lookout for four people, who are suspected to have murdered the driver of a travel agency for stealing a sports utility vehicle (SUV). The body of the driver, Ayyanar, 31, of Sengazhani near Vijayapuram in Tiruvarur district, was recovered from Machur in Kodaikanal on Saturday evening....
