Allan Bowker's 430 BHP Mazda B6 Exocet

This really is the meaning of Built not Bought.
Every part of the car has been selected and tailored for Allan's dream build.
The 'engine bay' is a sea of chrome and aluminium parts making it stand out perfectly from the luminous yellow space frame. The combination of the huge turbo, exposed cams and the aluminium pulleys are one of the cars most impressive aesthetic features, showing Allen's desire to make this truly a one of a kind machine.
The lightweight frame combined with the choice of Carbon Fibre and aluminium parts help add to the savage appearance and performance of the car.
Although we have no exact figures on acceleration, after a very brief trip in the car, we can assure you it is unbelievably fast and would comfortably outperform almost any road car you can think of.
The detail isn't just restricted to the frame and engine. The suspension and brakes have also been carefully selected to suit the cars desired handling characteristics.
While most of the suspension is off the shelf or OEM parts MX5 / Miata parts, the MeisterR springs have been tailored to suit the cars weight and balance. The brakes have been upgraded to truly massive 356mm discs with Hi-Spec callipers at the front and 300mm discs with Wilwood callipers at the rear. Even the rears are substantially bigger than the MX5 sport brakes on a car that weighs half as much so the stopping power is breathtaking... literally.
The Rotor Wheels were then selected based on size and style, to fit over the large brakes.
The only comparison we can think of for this car is an Atom on steroids.

XXXocet track video! This is from the first test session in late September.
The car is an Exocet kit car, built with a 556 hp LSA crate engine - that's a supercharged 6.2L V8. The engine is actually an E-Rod so it's a low emissions setup. Yes, this car would be legal in California.
The whole car is built with Flyin' Miata parts, from the brakes to the suspension to the headers. We had to build some custom parts to accommodate this very special vehicle, of course.
Weight as tested is right around 1900 lbs. This video is from the first testing, and the wheel/tire package is considerably smaller than what the car will finally wear. Also, the (minimal) bodywork is missing.
Sit back, turn it up and enjoy the mayhem.

HS Nearchos D-219 / USS Waddell DDG-24
On May 29 2006 two Hellenic / Greek navy Super Vita-type FAC(M)s, the HS Rousen (P-67) and HS Daniolos (P-68), each fired one MBDA MM-40 Block 2 Exocet Surface-to-Surface missile against HS Nearchos (D-219), the former USS Waddell DDG-24, a decommissioned Charles F. Adams Class guided missile destroyer.
The missile shot by HS Rousen ran a 64 km straight course, while that from HS Daniolos, ran a 44 km dog-leg course. Also taking part were a Sikorsky S-70B Aegean Hawk helicopter, which fired a Hellfire II air-to-surface missile and HS Triton (S-112), a Type 209/1100 submarine, which fired a SST-4 torpedo.
Following the day-long firings, HS Nearchos finally sunk late in the evening.

Meant primarily for use in the Aegean Sea, their weapons include one Oto Breda Super Rapid 76mm gun, two Oto Breda 30mm guns, a Ramsys GMWS Mk31 RAM (Rolling Airframe Missile)16 cells w/surface-to-air capability, and 8 Exocet ITL70A surface-to-surface missiles. The ship is also fitted with the Tacticos combat management system. Countermeasures include Argo Systems AR900 electronic support measures system and the Sippican SRBOC decoy launcher. The main propulsion system is four MTU 20V 538 TB93 diesels, 18,740hp, in two machinery spaces, each driving a fixed-pitch propeller. The maximum speed is 35kt and the range is in excess of 1,800nm at 12kt

The Exocet (French for "flying fish") is a French-built anti-ship missile whose various versions can be launched from surface vessels, submarines, helicopters and fixed wing aircraft. Hundreds were fired in combat during the 1980s.
The missile's name was given by M. Guillot, then the technical director at Nord Aviation. It is the French word for flying fish from the Latin name exocoetus, a transliteration of the Greek name for flying fish ἐξώκοιτος (exōkoitos), which literally means "lying down outside (ἒξω, κεῖμαι), sleeping outside" because it sometimes stranded itself in boats.
The Exocet is built by MBDA, a European missile company. Development began in 1967 by Nord as a ship-launched missile named MM 38. A few years later Aerospatiale and Nord merged. The basic missile body design was based on the Nord AS30 air to ground tactical missile. The air-launched Exocet was developed in 1974 and entered service with the French Navy five years later.
The relatively compact missile is designed for attacking small- to medium-size warships (e.g. frigates, corvettes, and destroyers), although multiple hits are effective against larger vessels, such as aircraft carriers. It is guided inertially in mid-flight and turns on active radar late in its flight to find and hit its target. As a counter measure against the air defence around the target, it maintains a very low altitude during ingress, staying 1–2 m above the sea surface. Due to the effect of the radar horizon, this means that the target may not detect an incoming attack until the missile is only 6000 m from impact. This leaves little time for reaction and stimulated the design of CIWS.

War Machine (James Rupert Rhodes) is a fictional character, a comic book superhero appearing in comic books set in the Marvel Comics universe. The character of James Rhodes first appeared in Iron Man #118 (January 1979) by David Michelinie, John Byrne and Bob Layton. The War Machine armor, which became Rhodes' signature armored battlesuit, was designed by Len Kaminski and Kevin Hopgood.
Also known by his nickname Rhodey, Rhodes has been a featured character in the Iron Man animated series, Iron Man: Armored Adventures and The Invincible Iron Man animated film. He was first portrayed by actor Terrence Howard in the 2008 film Iron Man. Don Cheadle replaced Howard in the 2010 sequel Iron Man 2 and will reprise the role in Iron Man 3.

Testing the XXXocet: supercharged V8, 1900 lbs, Miata bones.
XXXocet track video! This is from the first test session in late September. The car is an Exocet kit car, built with a 556 hp LSA crate engine - that's a supercharged 6.2L V8. The engine is actually an E-Rod so it's a low emissions setup. Yes, this car would be legal in California. The whole car is built with Flyin' Miata parts, from the brakes to the suspension to the headers. We had to build some custom parts to accommodate this very special vehicle, of course. Weight as tested is right around 1900 lbs. This video is from the first testing, and the wheel/tire package is considerably smaller than what the car will finally wear. HS Nearchos D-219 / USS Waddell DDG-24 On May 29 2006 two Hellenic / Greek navy Super Vita-type FAC(M)s, the HS Rousen (P-67) and HS Daniolos (P-68), each fired one MBDA MM-40 Block 2 Exocet Surface-to-Surface missile against HS Nearchos (D-219), the former USS Waddell DDG-24, a decommissioned Charles F. Adams Class guided missile destroyer. The missile shot by HS Rousen ran a 64 km straight course, while that from HS Daniolos, ran a 44 km dog-leg course. Also taking part were a Sikorsky S-70B Aegean Hawk helicopter, which fired a Hellfire II air-to-surface missile and HS Triton (S-112), a Type 209/1100 submarine, which fired a SST-4 torpedo. Allan Bowker's 430 BHP Mazda B6 Exocet

This really is the meaning of Built not Bought.
Every part of the car has been selected and tailored for Allan's dream build.
The 'engine bay' is a sea of chrome and aluminium parts making it stand out perfectly from the luminous yellow space frame. The combination of the huge turbo, exposed cams and the aluminium pulleys are one of the cars most impressive aesthetic features, showing Allen's desire to make this truly a one of a kind machine.
The lightweight frame combined with the choice of Carbon Fibre and aluminium parts help add to the savage appearance and performance of the car.
Although we have no exact figures on acceleration, after a very brief trip in the car, we can assure you it is unbelievably fast and would comfortably outperform almost any road car you can think of.
The detail isn't just restricted to the frame and engine. The suspension and brakes have also been carefully selected to suit the cars desired handling characteristics.
While most of the suspension is off the shelf or OEM parts MX5 / Miata parts, the MeisterR springs have been tailored to suit the cars weight and balance. The brakes have been upgraded to truly massive 356mm discs with Hi-Spec callipers at the front and 300mm discs with Wilwood callipers at the rear. Even the rears are substantially bigger than the MX5 sport brakes on a car that weighs half as much so the stopping power is breathtaking... literally.
The Rotor Wheels were then selected based on size and style, to fit over the large brakes.
The only comparison we can think of for this car is an Atom on steroids.

Meant primarily for use in the Aegean Sea, their weapons include one Oto Breda Super Rapid 76mm gun, two Oto Breda 30mm guns, a Ramsys GMWS Mk31 RAM (Rolling Airframe Missile)16 cells w/surface-to-air capability, and 8 Exocet ITL70A surface-to-surface missiles. The ship is also fitted with the Tacticos combat management system. Countermeasures include Argo Systems AR900 electronic support measures system and the Sippican SRBOC decoy launcher. The main propulsion system is four MTU 20V 538 TB93 diesels, 18,740hp, in two machinery spaces, each driving a fixed-pitch propeller. The maximum speed is 35kt and the range is in excess of 1,800nm at 12kt
