This sweet man has been bringing his wife in to see me, and I have been treating a large skin cancer on her face, with her recently getting Mohs skin cancer surgery. So, he is not directly a patient of mine, but I couldn't help but notice that he has so many comedones on his nose. He tends to not pay much attention to himself, spending much of his energy and efforts making sure his wonderful wife is doing alright. She has more disabilities than he does, in fact he looks amazing for 90 years old!
He has fantastic blackheads and whiteheads to extract. As you may know, blackheads and whiteheads are also called open and closed comedones, and they are benign growths. In his case, he has rosacea and rhinophyma, which causes increased thickening of the skin of the nose, increased oil production in the area, and very large pore that fill with keratinous material creating huge blackheads and whiteheads.
These don't need to be extracted, but certainly the appearance of the nose with improve greatly if they are.

We recently stumbled upon this secret, hidden, abandoned mine and mining camp high up in the mountains. We explored one mine tunnel as well as the surface structures. A shed onsite contained an old vintage Silvertone radio/record player from 1940, a winch, a newspaper from 1957, and other artifacts. Inside the mine, we found more artifacts used by the miners, and we demonstrate in the video how those artifacts were used by the miners long ago.

The Lost Dutchman's Gold Mine (also known by similar names) is, according to legend, a rich gold mine hidden in the southwestern United States. The location is generally believed to be in the Superstition Mountains, near Apache Junction, east of Phoenix, Arizona. There have been many stories about how to find the mine, and each year people search for the mine. Some have died on the search.
The mine is named after German immigrant Jacob Waltz (c. 1810–1891), who purportedly discovered it in the 19th century and kept its location a secret. ("Dutchman" was a common American term for "German", for example Pennsylvania Dutch; "Dutch" is the English cognate to the German demonym, "Deutsch".)
The Lost Dutchman's is perhaps the most famous lost mine in American history. Arizona place-name expert Byrd Granger wrote, as of 1977, the Lost Dutchman's story had been printed or cited at least six times more often than two other fairly well-known tales, the story of Captain Kidd's lost treasure, and the story of the Lost Pegleg mine in California. People have been seeking the Lost Dutchman's mine since at least 1892, while according to one estimate, 8,000 people annually made some effort to locate the Lost Dutchman's mine. Former Arizona Attorney General Bob Corbin is among those who have looked for the mine. Some argue that there is little or no evidence for the mine's existence, but others say that the main components of the story have at least some basis in fact.

Here is a Gold mine of black heads, rare and very big black heads on nose, known as solar comedones, being extracted out of nose by me with the help of comedone extractor, you can see they are coming out of nose, while extracting one of them dropped on ground, where a molluscs was waiting for licking it. We have shown the pits, the wells on nose from where we have dug the black heads. We can say that this is going to be one of the best black head video ever. We tried to squeeze them out with out fingers but unable to do so, so we took the help of magic stick to remove them. Finally we crushed them under slides and seen them under microscope. Well - its a rotating drum that is its basic form is a filtering system. For example, excavation contractors may screen their site debris into two fractions; a saleable topsoil for farms, nurseries and site-work, as well as cleaned rock for aggregates or landscaping work. This allows the contractor to resell their waste, instead of incurring the cost of sending it for disposal.
The same principle applies to the production of compost, sand/gravel, lumber mill by-products and municipal waste.
Trommels are also used in the recovery of gold from mineral rich soils. The dirt is broken up by high pressure water jets before entering the trommel, which breaks up the dirt further and outputs the rocks and stones while depositing the gold fragments in special plastic mats.

Gold mining is the removal of gold from the ground. There are several techniques and processes by which gold may be extracted from the earth.
It is impossible to know the exact date that humans first began to mine gold, but some of the oldest known gold artifacts were found in the Varna Necropolis in Bulgaria. The graves of the necropolis were built between 4700 and 4200 BC, indicating that gold mining could be at least 7000 years old.
Gold objects are plentiful in the Bronze age, especially in Ireland and Spain, and there are several well known possible sources.
Romans used hydraulic mining methods, such as hushing and ground sluicing on a large scale to extract gold from extensive alluvial deposits, such as those at Las Medulas. Mining was under the control of the state but the mines may have been leased to civilian contractors some time later. The gold served as the primary medium of exchange within the empire, and was an important motive in the Roman invasion of Britain by Claudius in the first century A.D., although there is only one known Roman gold mine at Dolaucothi in west Wales. Gold was a prime motivation for the campaign in Dacia when the Romans invaded Transylvania in what is now modern Romania in the second century A.D. The legions were led by the emperor Trajan, and their exploits are shown on Trajan's Column in Rome and the several reproductions of the column elsewhere (such as the Victoria and Albert Museum in London).

This sweet man has been bringing his wife in to see me, and I have been treating a large skin cancer on her face, with her recently getting Mohs skin cancer surgery. So, he is not directly a patient of mine, but I couldn't help but notice that he has so many comedones on his nose. He tends to not pay much attention to himself, spending much of his energy and efforts making sure his wonderful wife is doing alright. She has more disabilities than he does, in fact he looks amazing for 90 years old!
He has fantastic blackheads and whiteheads to extract. As you may know, blackheads and whiteheads are also called open and closed comedones, and they are benign growths. In his case, he has rosacea and rhinophyma, which causes increased thickening of the skin of the nose, increased oil production in the area, and very large pore that fill with keratinous material creating huge blackheads and whiteheads.
These don't need to be extracted, but certainly the appearance of the nose with improve greatly if they are.

A shed onsite contained an old vintage Silvertone radio/record player from 1940, a winch, a newspaper from 1957, and other artifacts. Inside the mine, we found more artifacts used by the miners, and we demonstrate in the video how those artifacts were used by the miners long ago.

Well - its a rotating drum that is its basic form is a filtering system. For example, excavation contractors may screen their site debris into two fractions; a saleable topsoil for farms, nurseries and site-work, as well as cleaned rock for aggregates or landscaping work. This allows the contractor to resell their waste, instead of incurring the cost of sending it for disposal.
The same principle applies to the production of compost, sand/gravel, lumber mill by-products and municipal waste.
Trommels are also used in the recovery of gold from mineral rich soils. The dirt is broken up by high pressure water jets before entering the trommel, which breaks up the dirt further and outputs the rocks and stones while depositing the gold fragments in special plastic mats.

Click Here To Subscribe! ► http://bit.ly/JOovvU - I was looking to build a trommel since before I did the GOLD sluicing video. What is a Trommel? Well - its a rotating drum that is its basic form is a filtering system. For example, excavation contractors may screen their site debris into two fractions; a saleable topsoil for farms, nurseries and site-work, as well as cleaned rock for aggregates or landscaping work. This allows the contractor to resell their waste, instead of incurring the cost of sending it for disposal.
The same principle applies to the production of compost, sand/gravel, lumber mill by-products and municipal waste.
Trommels are also used in the recovery of gold from mineral rich soils. The dirt is broken up by high pressure water jets before entering the trommel, which breaks up the dirt further and outputs the rocks and stones while depositing the gold fragments in special plastic mats.

In this episode my wife and I are on a quick vacation. As usual, I took along all of the necessary gold prospecting equipment...why not right? Although prospecting was only a small portion of this trip which involved wine, B&B;'s, and typical touristy stuff.

We started in San Francisco as usual but instead of heading North towards Napa and Sonoma, we headed East out towards the Livermore Valley area. This part of California was new to me, but not to gold prospecting activity. This I knew.
After sipping on some excellent California wine we headed Northeast to a place called Bison Creek Ranch http://www.bisoncreekranchca.com). Rich in gold history, the property is home to over 13 placer and hard rock mines. A large stream intersected the property and we had free roam to the entire place.
Off the grid, Bison Creek Ranch is secluded to say the least. At nigh, other than the occasional grunt or bump it was dead silent. Almost eerily. But it was certainly peaceful.
In this video I do a little panning, a little metal detecting, and a little exploring of old mines. We do find a small amount of gold. We did a lot of hiking and certainly got our fair share of exercise on this trip.
Then, we wrapped up our stay here and headed up towards Murphy's, CA for some more wine tasting (they call it tasting, I call it drinking). Did a little more exploring and panning with very little luck. Had a blast the whole way though!

The Path of Wildness is an answer and response to a prescribed way of life which may leave some individuals with a sense that their living is little more than a series of pre-determined, step-like episodes between birth and death. The stages of living between these events: childhood, adolescence, adulthood, parenthood and senior are themselves natural and in accord with the needs of the species and most individuals. Many find their satisfaction in living this course and to these individuals I have little or nothing to say. Others though long for something more; something innate, genetic and seemingly calling. Adventure and change can give a degree of satisfaction and relief yet even these may seem too tame. To those who feel drawn to something beyond the entertainment and stimulation of senses I offer a walk along The Path of Wildness. Don't bother penciling the event in your schedule, preparing a pack with goodies and supplies or even inviting a friend along, for this experience is along the course of your first inclination and you must surely always go alone.

und ich mache natürlich nur auf Youtube meine Anime Videos aber auf meinen zweitkanal

The mysterious riches are known as Slumach’s Lost Mine, or Lost Creek Mine.
Prospector Stanford Corey said in 1926 that in the thirty years he prospected there he had “not seen the marks of any other person ever having entered the land.” The newspapers, however, had a different view: a stream of adventures risking life and limb hunting for the lost treasure. Underlining the dangers of exploration in the Pitt Lake region, newspapers claimed that since 1900 some two dozen prospectors and treasure hunters looking for Pitt Lake’s gold lost their life by natural causes or fell victim to “Slumach’s Curse.” Remarkably only the death or disappearance of five seemed worth reporting.
The Indian Slumach lived to kill and was eventually hanged himself. Every year he disappeared a few months in the mountains near Pitt Lake Mountains. The reason: a legendary rich gold vein. Only a legend? Slumach took his secret to his grave, but still attract treasure hunters to Pitt Lake-glaciers. This quest has been fatal for many. The Curse of Slumach?

We took a trip to Canada a bit ago and I wanted to share some footage of an abandoned mineshaft that we probably should not have entered. It seemed to go on forever and we didn't reach the end in this clip, but I have been to the end of it and the tunnel gets pretty small.
Next we check out the cabin thats right on top of the mining claim. It's seen better days but wouldn't take much work to be usable once again.
We join our good flannel clad friend Harvey for a visit. He's always fun and pretty vocal so I wanted to share a bit of the visit with everyone. I hope you enjoy these clips, it's a long video at 20 min but it's all over the place, enjoy.

Many of Philippines' 5.5 million child workers are risking their lives digging for "Dirty Gold" in unbelievable conditions. Desperate men and children scour underwater mine-shafts in this terrifying report.
Breathing through nothing more than a thin pipe connected to an air compressor, going 30 foot deep underwater for hours in search of gold is all in a day’s work for 16-year-old Gerald. "I'm afraid, if the earth collapses, I will get buried underneath" says the teenager. Surrounded by rock walls in the pitch black darkness of the water, the men chip away at walls for 3 hours. They find no gold. For many like Gerald school is a distant memory, and illegally diving for gold the only alternative to starvation. Hundreds of deaths by electrocution, drowning and even the possibility of Mercury poisoning have had little impact on compressor mining activities, which continue un-policed and unregulated. There appears little hope of change on the horizon. "If I could only give job opportunities - I will take them away from compressor mining. It is just that I have no alternative at this point" says Ricarte Padilla, Mayor of Jose Panganiban - Philippines' so-called "Gold Coast". As it is, the children and family men unearthing 60-80kg of gold per month see the lions share of wealth disappear into the Chinese black market.

Documentary film on underground hard rock gold mining and the life of gold miners in South Dakota, as seen through the eyes of the Homestake Mining Company.
The Homestake Mine was a deep underground gold mine located in Lead, South Dakota. Until it closed in 2002 it was the largest and deepest gold mine in North America. The mine produced more than 40 million troy ounces (approximately 1.25 million kilograms) of gold during its lifetime.

History of the Homestake Mine:
The Homestake deposit was discovered by Fred and Moses Manuel, Alex Engh and Hank Harney in April 1876, during the Black Hills Gold Rush. A trio of mining entrepreneurs, George Hearst, Lloyd Tevis, and James Ben Ali Haggin, bought it from them for $70,000 the following year. George Hearst arrived at the mine in October 1877, and took active control of the property. Hearst had to haul in all the mining equipment by wagons from the nearest railhead in Sidney, Nebraska. Arthur De Wint Foote worked as an engineer. Despite the remote location, an 80-stamp mill began crushing Homestake ore in July 1878.
The partners sold shares in the Homestake Mining Company, and listed it on the New York Stock Exchange in 1879. The Homestake would become one of the longest-listed stocks in the history of the NYSE (Con Edison's original name was New York Gas Light and was listed in 1824).
Hearst consolidated and enlarged the Homestake property by fair and foul means. He bought out some adjacent claims, and secured others in the courts.
By the time Hearst left the Black Hills in March 1879, he had added the claims of Giant, Golden Star, Netty, May Booth, Golden Star No. 2, Crown Point, Sunrise, and General Ellison to the original two claims of the Manuel Brothers, Golden Terra and Old Abe, totaling 30 acres. The ten-stamp mill had become 200, and 500 employees worked in the mine, mills, offices and shops. He owned the Boulder Ditch and water rights to Whitewood Creek, monopolizing the region. His railroad, Black Hills & Fort Pierre Railroad, gave him access to eastern Dakota territory. By 1900, the Homestake owned 300 claims, on 2000 acres, and was worked by more than 2000 employees.
In 1901, the mine started using compressed air locomotives, replacing the mules and horses by the 1920s. Charles Washington Merrill introduced cyanidization to augment mercury-amalgamation for gold recovery. "Cyanide Charlie" finally achieved 94 per cent recovery. The gold was shipped to the Denver Mint.
By 1906, the Ellison Shaft reached 1,550 feet, the B&M; 1,250 feet, the Golden Star 1,100 feet, and the Golden Prospect 900 feet, producing 1,500,000 tons of ore. A disastrous fire struck on 25 March 1907, which took forty days to extinguish after the mine was flooded. Another disastrous fire struck in 1919.
In 1927, company geologist Donald H. McLaughlin used a winze from the 2,000 level to demonstrate ore reached the 3,500 foot level. The Ross shaft was started in 1934, a second winze from the 3,500 foot level reached 4,100 feet, and a third winze from 4,100 feet was started in 1937. The Yates shaft was started in 1938. Production ceased from 1943 until 1945, due to Limitation Order L-208 from the Government. By 1975, mining operations has reached the 6,800 foot level, and two winzes were planned to 8,000 feet.

On 5th August 2010, all 33 of the day shift miners at the San Jose mine in Chile were missing and feared killed when their copper and gold mine collapsed. For 17 days no one knew whether they were alive or dead.
Miraculously, after all hope was lost, on the 17th day the specialist drilling rigs looking for signs of life smashed through into the tunnel where the men had been clinging on. All 33 of the men were alive and well.
Buried Alive: The Chilean Mine Rescue was given unprecedented access to the drilling rigs, engineers and medics for the definitive story of how this audacious rescue was carried out.
The film follows the extraordinary story of the 33 miners, trapped underground for 70 days. Above ground, the film makers had unique access to document the highs and lows of the drilling teams as they pounded their way through almost half a mile of granite.
Below ground the programme follows how the miners survived for so long and hears first hand from the doctors and psychologists who were keeping them alive and sane, giving extraordinary insight into the underground hell they had to endure.

Robinson or the new issue may be by David Harris. The location and routes are listed but one should research this one, both for interesting things to see and watch out for and to know the spring, if flowing, is subject to both mercury and traces of arsenic from the days when the mine was in use. It is a hard one and you will need to carry in ALL your water.
I have enjoyed decades of trekking alone in the San Gabriel's and San Bernardino mountain ranges and found many secluded places. I have years of experience going solo and know how to deal with the majority of things that come up and how to locate. I know it is not recommended to trek alone, nor do I recommend it. If you are going it alone, leave detailed notes with someone who knows the range, an exit time, over due time, route, etc. Learn the basics before taking on too much.
And many the force be with you :-)
